Fast Water Heater Company

It went excellent. The technician was prompt, did what he said he was going to do, did it quickly, and left no mess behind.

Kevin was the main installer on this job and truly knew this trade. After removing the old water heater he went over the list of code requirements that were necessary in putting in a new water heater. This included a blow out valve and piping, etc. We purchased the new water heater via an Angie's special sale. What was most notable about this purchase was the care and attention Kevin gave to the smallest details of installation. Whether it was leveling the heater in place or insuring the earthquake straps were secure to drilling through the garage wall to extend the blow out valve piping he was meticulous and made the installation look like a mechanical sculpture. He is to be commended for his quality of workmanship. Very pleased with the product and work.

I purchased Angie List deal on 4/12 in the afternoon. I received an email response by Jake the project coordinter within a couple of hours. I called 4/13 and had it scheduled for 4/14. The installer Dean arrived 1/2 hour earlier than scheduled. He was very nice, informative and honest. He was done with the job within an hour and half. He did a great job and made sure everything was done properly. I would recommend this company..

Water heater was purchased on Angieslist Big Deal. Steve arrived as scheduled, informed me of the additional costs to bring the install up to the building code. I did not need same day service.

I decided to write this review because their price is about two times the price of two other quotes I just got; keep in mind they did not perform the work. Asked for quote to re install an existing gas water heater. Said they only (re) installed GE/? brand that were in warranty & price would $499 plus parts to make code. This is ~twice the price just quoted from two other plumber businesses. I originally installed this heater in less that one hour; current work is being performed under an insurance claim..

Contacted company (10 minute wait) gave them my information and got information on model and type of water heater; told them I wanted to check specks; called back asking about another model held while they got me price for it. got direct line for the the person I spoke to told him I wanted to speak to my wife at the price increase was substantially more. I called back and left a message that I wanted the original offer. After a half an hour, I called again get transferred to on hold for the "nest available person; after 40 minutes i hung up and called to cancel my order

I purchased a deal but I wasn't able to use it for the water heater I have however I like the company so I will probably still use them without the deal.

I live in Georgia; the rental property is in Los Angeles, California. I went on Angie's List and reviewed several providers in the zip code of the property and compared them to the product and installation costs. I selected Fast Water Heater. They were very accommodating in providing service during the time a neighbor could be there to provide them access. They were running behind but made an heroic effort to meet the time frame I had requested. The installer was very professional and contacted me in Georgia to alert me that the codes had changed and that I would need to replace the vent system. While the final cost was more than I had anticipated through no fault of Fast Water Heater, I appreciated that I received prompt and professional service. I would not hesitate to use their services or recommend them again.

The service was provided to my satisfaction. The plumber was on-time, hooked up the water hose to the water heater, drained the water heater, and cleaned up. Also, he answered all questions.

From start to finish, this transaction went very well. I bought the $847 special on their Angie's List site. Scheduler Ryan called me the next day and was very professional. Set up the appt for today, Saturday, between 9-12. Technician Kevin Clement called at 9:00 to say he'd be there at 9:30. He worked quickly and was very thorough. Explained everything, earthquake strapped the new water heater and left the area very neat. Kevin was very friendly and knowledgeable, and I wouldn't hesitate to use this vendor again!

Found our water heater pan full of water - it was time for our 20yr old water heater to get replaced. This isn't something that ever happens at a convenient time. We discovered this problem at 9pm Monday evening, found the Angie's List big deal an hour later, and called Fast Water Heater about 7:30a the next morning. The rep who answered the phone was thorough in his description of what the deal included, asked a few questions to ensure that they had everything they needed to make the replacement (old model number, capacity etc.) and we set the appointment for between 9:30a and 12:30p the same day. Their technician called ahead of time as promised, and arrived around 10:30a. He reviewed the install with me, made a few suggestions (no hard sell - all were valid per my research), asked for the Angie's List Big Deal order info, and started to work. Reinaldo was courteous, efficient, and finished about an hour and a half later. Quick and relatively painless - 30min later we had plenty of hot water and hopefully won't need another for a good long while. 3 days later and we're still quite pleased with the work.

The overall experience was fine. The service provider was very professional in our communications but as it turned out, I wound up not needing the service and therefore had to cancel our scheduled appointment.

Technician showed up and said water heater was too big to fit in closet 23" and opening was only 21 inches wide. The replacement was spec'd at 21 inches wide and the opening was 22 inches. Then the excuse was they could not replace a working water heater. I him I did not want a warranty replacement, and then a supervisor said the only thing they had was an inferior 6 year unit. Bottom line, is they want quick garage change-out units to make a fast $500. If you have an outside install or need plumbing done--go someplace else. Worst customer service and attitude, complete bait and switch, and then bail when they were called on it. Left without installing tank.

They were very nice. My cat caught where he was not supposed to be and they helped me pull him up which was very nice of them. Everything went very fine.

Alfredo the tech was very pleasant, prompt and professional. The job was complicated by extra plumbing that was in the way from the recirculating water pump. He was able to handle all of this ease. he taught me a little about plumbing as I watched the job get done. I would request him if you use this company. J. Mayo

Ray showed up on time, did everything he quoted at the originally quoted price, very nice work, and left the area clean after he was done. Couldn't ask for anything more.

The technician was very polite and punctual. He was conscientious about everything that he did. He was very professional and neat, cleaning up all of the debris from the installation.

Would definitely recommend them to friends.

Price quoted was ~$750 but they added many addons that they convinced us that the city inspector would require, which tripled the price. One item they convince us to install they did not have on the truck and had to come back later. We never did get an inspection and could have optioned not to take all the addons.

I signed up with them via Home Depot, which means permits are automatically done - which was what we wanted anyway. Calling them directly may yield a better price/coupons can be used and permits would be up to the homeowner. I was very happy with the service/price. The installation went fast and smooth without any hiccups. I think it was a little under 3 hours for everything - including initial quote/discussion/etc. The permit/inspection went perfect and everything was great. I would definitely call them again.

Our experience with Fast Water Heater Company was terrific....from the interaction with Angie's List, our phone call to Rob (the service scheduler), his prompt scheduling expertise (same day service!), and Ryan's expert installation...all exceptionally professional, very prompt, and clean. Ryan also did a thorough job of explaining the work and the associated options. He was extremely careful inside and outside our home, completed the job in about 2.5 hours, and he left no "plumberly residue". Great job! Although I don't want to replace water heaters very frequently, I'd recommend the Fast Water Heater Company team to any homeowner in need. This is extreme customer service at its finest!
