Excel Carpet Cleaning

Excel provided excellent, professional service from beginning to end. They gave us a one hour window for the appointment. They were on time and even called us a 1/2 hr.before arriving. This was our first time to use Excel and our carpets are cleaner than they ever were when we used ChemDry. They put corner protectors on walls and furniture so the hoses wouldn't mark them. They truly worked their tails off. They did an extremely thorough job. Totally worth every penny plus they removed stains that had never been removed before from other carpet cleaners. We will definitely use them again and refer them to our real estate clients.

While haveing our bathrooms remodeled one of the workers spilled black paint on our light carpet. There was a trail of paint from the top of the stairs into the master bedroom. The contractor brought in his carpet cleaner, but the spill still showed. His suggestion wa to replace the carpet. This is not something I wanted to do, the carpert was only 4 years old and still looked great. So I called Excel and they were able to come out the next day. After they worked on the carpet it looked great.

The company quoted me over the phone for the work. We agreed on a day and they were right on time. The men were both very proffesional.They placed guards at the corners of all of the walls to protect paint and wall paper. All of the work was done in a timley manner and everything looked great when finished.

Enrique was very responsive; with 2 days notice, he agreed to do the job on a Saturday. He and a helper even showed up early to get the work done. They were uniformed and very professional. Probably not the cheapest but defnitely worth doing business with, if you want it well done and on time.

Excel to my husband, and worked out the logistics. He said he was really happy with Excel and they were really nice.

The owner and his assistant arrived on time with the owner and I doing a walk through of the house to size the job. A price was agreed upon and they began the work. They were very thorough and spent the time necessary to clean the difficult areas to my satisfaction. This was our best experience with a carpet cleaner in our 30 years of living in California. We will definitely use them again and will highly recommend them to our friends and family.

Wonderful! My Motorhome looks like new again. It's 10 years old and gets lots of use out in the desert. All stains removed from all pieces and it smells wonderful. color looks alate brighter as well. I'm very happy & will definitely use Excel again!

It went very well, everything was done in a very timely manner from start to finish around 1.5 hours. Cleaned up after he left, was very carefuly in tying up the hose lines against railing of stairways so that hose doesnt rub/scratch the walls & hallways.

I am very happy with the work done by Excel carpet cleaning. This was the first time the rugs had been cleaned since installation 5 years ago. Excel did an excellent job of cleaning five years worth of stains. The carpets look practically new. It has been approximately three weeks since the cleaning and there are still no signs of where the stains were.

I know this is hard to believe considering the overall rating of this company and the Angie's List service award and all of that, but my experience boils down to this: I left a message on their answering machine telling them I had a job for them and they didn't get back to me. Apparently they weren't interested in my business, but It would have been nice to at least get a quick "thanks but no thanks," or "we're all booked up" phone call. And what's the deal with the old school answering machine? You'd think a company that's been around since 1988 would be big enough to have a person, at least an answering service, take my call.

Every thing was fine- met expectations

I chose Excel because I went to the website after finding him on Angie's list and saw pictures of him cleaning carpet. I felt that his method would really do a good job and I was right! Most steam cleaners spray hot water and then extract, but his method actually has a machine that scrubs while steaming and extracting. This not only seemed to clean better but also lifted the carpet as well. My carpet almost looks brand new. I am very pleased with the job. I also am impressed that not only was he prompt in returning my call to set up the appointment, but I was called the day of as they had completed the customer before me early and wanted to know if they could come 1/2 hr early. It worked out great. They were very professional and spent extra time in a high traffic area to try to get more lift and dirt out the carpet. It looks great!! I definitely would use their service again and highly recommend them.

Enrique came within just a couple days of my call to give us an estimate. He was very prompt and professional. We felt his prices are competitive with other carpet cleaning companies we have used. When he came back that same week to do the job, he again was right on time and finished the job in the amount of time that he had estimated. He removed stains from our carpet that previous companies had been unable to. He also cleaned some upholstered furniture and it came out beautifully. We will definitely be calling him again and referring others.

We contacted Excel by phone for an estimate. They gave us a quote based on 7 rooms, hall, and stairs we wanted cleaned. We have two dogs and our carpet hadn't been cleaned in about three years........it was dirty. Their quote was about $400 and 4 hours to do the job. We set up an appointment for so they could see the job and give us a more accurate price. We also had another company come out to give us a quote. Their price was competative but we were more comfortable with the rep from Excel. Excel showed up on time and explained that it would be an additional $100 because of the condition of the carpet. We accepted their bid. The job took them over 6 hours to complete. They took their time and did an outstanding job. The carpets in all the rooms, hall, and stairs look great. We would recommend them and will be using them again in about 8-10 months per their direction

i called Excel Carpet Cleaning on a wednesday and Enrique came out for an estimate the very same day. by Saturday morning he was at my house cleaning my carpet. he and his partner arrived early. They arrived ready to work and started in right away. it took them about 1 1/2 hours to finish but they did the best job I have ever seen. They were careful, proactive about protecting my furniture and carpet, they were self contained, quiet, professional, respectful of the fact that it was saturday morning and 7:30 and they were in my home. They were dressed professionally and, best of all, they left no trace behind them when they left. no dirt, no water, no trace. they completely cleaned up their area and even took the dirt from my carpet with them. Honestly, I would use them again and again and again. I got lucky because they were the first company I called. Ever. I'll never call anyone else.

We chose Excel after searching Angie's List. They came highly rated and we felt confident to give them a try. Our initial phone conversation went very well and Enrique was able to set up an initial appointment with us for an estimate within 24 hours. We needed quotes on both carpet and tile cleaning. Well, the only negative experience we had happened when he didn't show up for the estimate appointment. There was no phone call to us. About 40 minutes after the set appointment time, we decided to call to see if there was some type of miscommunication. He told us that the previous job had gone over the time expected and that he was on his way. So, the lower grade in responsiveness is due solely to this. He should have called to let us know that he was running late. (Although he arrived for the estimate appointment an hour late, he ended up making up for this later.) Once he arrived, he let us know what everything would cost and described what he needed to do. He easygoing and seemed fair. He didn't push for extra work to be done--he left it all up to us and gave us honest advice. We told him that it had been about 2 years since we had our carpets deep cleaned. We asked if he would vacuum the carpet ahead of time (as recommended by the Carpet and Rug institute before deep cleaning occurs and as we had done in the past). He said it wasn't necessary since our carpet didn't look bad but he could do it if we wanted it done. We decided to hire him to clean our carpets only and look into having him do our tile cleaning in the future since that ended up being out of our budget at that point in time. We called him the next day and set up an appointment for him to clean our carpet about a week later. On the set cleaning date, Enrique and his crew (one other guy) arrived earlier than the appointment time and began working right away. He still didn't end up vacuuming the carpet since he felt that his machine was powerful enough to do the job as the deep cleaning occurred. Even though we had reservations about this, we decided to just let him do what he was an expert at doing. They did thorough job with the deep cleaning and the carpet looked and smelled clean. They got all major stains out and took the time to get to every area. It wasn't a rushed job. They arrived before 8AM and finished sometime around 11AM. Since they used a hot water or hot steam extraction method, it was recommended that we not move the furniture back in until 36-48 hours. The carpet was cleaned on a cold, rainy day so the weather was a big factor in slowing the drying process down. We did as we were told and have had no issues. We would recommend this company to friends and would hire them again. We appreciated that Enrique was one of the men doing the cleaning and able to explain everything he was doing along the way.

Checked on Angie's List for carpet cleaning services in/near my Orange County community. Excel had extremely high ratings and reviews, as well as a large number of them, so I gave them a call. I was asked a few questions about size of carpets, how long since my last cleaning and staining. The quote seemed fair (it's been 4-5 years since my last cleaning service, for various reasons) and I think I paid around the same amount, then. I originally scheduled work for 9/10, but weather was stormy and predicted to be so during the rest of the day. I called the company around 9 a.m. on Saturday (work was scheduled for around noon) and they were willing to re-schedule for the 14th. Two gentlemen arrived a little before the scheduled time - 8 a.m. - and after looking at the areas to be cleaned, got right to work. They finished up around 10 a.m. and worked right through. The carpet looks great - all major stains were removed and there was no residue to stiffen the carpet after it dried (which is what happened with the last company). It still looks great and now that I have a professional, reliable company to use, I will schedule regular cleanings to keep it looking good. I would recommend Excel to anyone needing carpet cleaning and will definitely use them again.

Excell Cartpet Cleaning arrived five minutes before the appointed time. I showed them the areas I wanted cleaned and they proceeded to work. They cleaned carpeting in my family room, living room, master bedroom, loft, and stairs. I have very light carpeting and they did a very thorough and meticulous job. In addition, they cleaned a sectional sofa that I am planning to sell. The sectional is also very light colored and it now looks very good. I was impressed with their punctuality, thoroughness, and professionalism. I felt the price was very fair. I am plainning to have them come back to do some carpet stretching next week. I will definitely use them again.

Excel was excellent. They have a great work ethic and they did a lot for the time they were here. They also did a very good job.

These guys did a great job, from the first phone call to when they left. They were available quickly, on the day we wanted (a Saturday). They showed up on time and did a great cleaning job. They also provided great information and were patient with questions. They did more work than we had agreed to (hadn't planned on doing the master bedroom or the office), and the final price was very reasonable considering they had to stay a bit longer than originally planned.
