I was looking forward to using this service, now I have to figure out how to get a refund. Angie's list providers-please consider that when you offer a deal, you need to be able to accommodate the resulting demand. This is an example of a failure to deliver. Would I do business with this company again? Trust them to follow through? No, I would not. And neither should you. I don't know about you, but I don't appreciate waiting around for someone who never shows up. Especially when you pay in advance.

Well, I just moved to Roseville to a new home. It had 4 lights already installed, 2 in front and 2 in the back. I wanted to add more lighting but, I thought they were going to do Malibu lighting or solar. They do very high end lighting whereas, I was willing to pay $500 max and they were in the thousands. I went out and bought a box of solar lights for $99 and that did the trick.

I do not know exactly what he did. I thought I knew what the problem was as it had happened before. He would not listen and check it out. He took apart lights that were not the problem. After he left even the lighting that was working did not work. This is usually a simple problem and I was hoping to save my son in law the time of fixing it. This guy was arrogant and refused to follow electrical debugging techniques. That is start from what works and examine the connections along the line until you find the dead spot. Total waste of money!

The appointment was for 4:30 which I set up with Ariel (who was very nice). Alex called me at 2:30 and asked if he could come in 5 minutes. I adv no and he said he would come at 4:00 then. I adv that would not work so he finally came at 4:30. When he did arrive, he looked over my lighting and adv that the transformer was working. I asked him why my lights weren't working, and he said it could be a variety of issues. He then proceeded to give me a 40 minute sales pitch to buy some new LED lights that they were selling (including a new transformer, even though he had just told me that mine was working.). The Big Deal also states that I would recieve a detailed written report and estimate and I have yet to receive anything in writing. I asked Alex specifically for a written report and he told me that was what he was doing (he was talking to me, took no notes, and I certainly did not receive anything in writing). I feel like I paid $59 for 5 minutes of inspection and 40 minutes of a sales pitch.

It went very well. Luis and Sergio were on time. They had to dig up some area in the yard and they put everything back in place. They were clean and answered all of my questions. I am so happy to have easy to use controllers.

My lights stopped working due to a burned out transformer. Sprinkler guy quickly diagnosed problem and replaced transformer.

The appointment was late in the day. The companies schedule was full.

Got an estimate that was vague as to the specific work to be done but understand because until the workers dig in and see what the problems are, they have no way to tell what to put on the estimate. Once the main line was replaced the other systems were checked and diagnosed. The main worker on site was very knowledgeable and was able to fix whatever we threw at him. There were heads replaced, adjusted and wiring problems solved. They worked long and hard and stayed until everything was done, after 6pm. Got our moneys worth and they honored the Angie's list discount coupon.

Showed up on time and installed all new lights

The experience went fine. He did the job. I was not home when he came. I never talked to him.

We no longer have standing water on our sidewalk, our planters are growing green and we have no other problems with drainage on our property. Thank you for your quick service and we would like to thank David for his recommendations.

David came out for our estimate appointment and was early. He looked over all my sprinklers and let me know that the problem I was having was with my valves. He also suggested putting my sprinkler system on a timer. He was very professional and set up a time for the work to be done. The work was scheduled to start at 9 am I did not get a call but the tech doing the work did show up a few minutes late. Once the tech showed up he worked very quickly and put the timer exactly where I had asked. All in all everything is working great and I would use this company again.

Wis was very early for the free estimate and quickly found the broken pipe that was leaking. Later that day of his techs came out & repaired the leak quickly & tuned up all the sprinkler heads. Everything has been running great since.

When I first contacted the company, the sales person was very professional and had exceptional phone etiquette. The salesman arrived when he said he would, and proceeded to explain the "science" of irrigation. He knew all the buzz words; wasted water, algae on the walls, moss in shady spots, over irrigation, anticipated huge percentages in savings upon job completion, healthy lawn and plants in planters, etc. The job was $2500.00 and I didn't tell my wife because I felt these guys knew what they were talking about and I didn't want her to demand that I get another quote. Plus, they had a sexy website, so what's there to worry about? Everything. I'm about 6-8 months into the process. Yes the job was finished on time. That's what contractors do best most of the time. Let's face it, if you bid a job and it takes much longer to complete than estimated then you're wasting money on labor. So, yes they got it done on time. I looked it over and had to point out about a dozen sprinkler heads that they said they'd replace and didn't (warning sign number one). The subcontractor said he'd come back the next day and make it right. He came back several days later, changing out most, but not all the heads (warning sign two). After a week or two, I noticed he front lawn was starting to brown. I looked over the valves at the front of the house, and noticed one was leaking. This was an old valve and didn't look like a new leak, given the amount of moisture in the immediate area, so I was surprised they didn't notice it (warning sign three). I called the original point of contact (sales person), and naturally he didn't call back 6-7 calls later. He'd been let go (warning sign four). Another guy was given the job to fix, which was actually a plus. I figured they would blow me off and they didn't. I guess they still had a conscience. The new guy was well versed in what to say and how much passion about fixing the problem to have over the phone, so I kept my faith. He promised to come out with another guy and fix it once and for all. About a week later, he hadn't arrived (warning sign five). After a couple of calls to the parent web site's customer service hotline, I did have a guy come out on two separate occasions. Both spent a tremendous amount of time here, adjusting, replacing, digging, getting wet . . . etc. It was finally "Fixed". Here we are several months later. The front lawn is just about dead. It resembles a public grade school field; patches of brown, patches of green, dirt showing through the dying grass. I may have had an over-watering problem before, but now I have an ugly, half-dead lawn. I have he sprinklers in the front set at 45 minutes of water time at the moment, to see if I can resuscitate my lawn. We'll see. So, the moral of the story is, don't ever hire me to be an irrigation service consultant, but more importantly, steer clear of "Sprinkler Repair Guy". They are full of sales hype and dry as a bone on product delivery and satisfaction. I have to say, for all the calls to these people, I'm very fortunate they keep coming back. On the other hand, I PAID FOR SOLUTIONS, NOT MORE PROBLEMS. My wife was right. I'm an idiot.

Two workers did the work. Only one spoke English. They did the work while I was at work. I left work to check on them. When I arrived on site, I observed that one worker was attempting to use a broken vise grip. I loaned him mine, because he did not have a working vise grip. They mounted the electronic control panel on the front center of my house facing the street, at shoulder height. I did not consider the electronic control panel to be a decorative feature that I wanted on the front center of my house. They moved it to a location inside my garage when I called the office. I now have three holes in the front center of my house to remind me of their craftmanship. So if you want workers without backup tools and without the common sense to know that the control panel doesn't hang front and center on the street facing side of your house, these are your guys. When the main sales person came to get paid I asked for a demonstration on how to use the system. He really struggled in getting it to turn on or off per his use of the control panel. The final work they did is functioning properly. Note: Not that it is the fault of "The Sprinkler Repair guy", but the Rain Bird owners manual is pretty much useless and provides no help.(Rain bird sprinkler systems)

installer showed up on time on the day promised, completed installation and the salesman, Danny came by to follow up with the installers and make sure that everything was done right to my liking.

It went over quite well. The repair arrived on time as schedule. He went right in to work. Made a few calls. Made a few more suggestion and completed the job in a timely manner. Explain the how to operate the Controller very well. Then was on his way.

Overall the work appears to have been completed competently and the system works properly. Michael, the person who initially came to my home to inspect the job and give me an estimate, was professional and pleasant. The written estimate, however, was not very specific as to what work would be done. I became quite frustrated when the worker arrived a few days later to do the repairs. The worker had extremely limited English skills. But most frustrating was that he had not been told by the company what work needed to be performed. As I do not speak much Spanish, and the estimate was not specific, I had to call the company a couple of times. Michael finally called the worker and apparently told him what work was to be done. On a somewhat comical note, the worker repeatedly asked me for a "letter." At first, I thought he was referring to the written estimate. I then figured out he was asking for a ladder. He had not brought one with him, and the job required moving some pipe and access to other pipes that were out of reach. Had the company informed the worker about the specifics of the project before he arrived, he possibly could have brought a ladder. Fortunately my neighbor had a ladder I could borrow. I was close to sending the worker away at this point, but decided to let him start job. The work was finished in one day, but took a bit longer than was estimated by Michael. At the end of the day, the worker did not know the amount I needed to pay. He repeatedly tried to call the office but could not get through to anyone. I had an appointment in the afternoon and needed to leave. When I told the worker this, he initially refused to move his truck out of my driveway so I could pull my car out. He apparently thought I should just wait around until his company called him back with the final amount I owed. I assured the worker that I would pay as soon as he found out how much I owed, and that I would return within the hour. He still did not move his truck, and I felt like I was being held hostage. After shouting at the worker, and starting my car, he moved his truck. Had he not done so, I would have called the police. Well, long story short, after I drove a short distance, the worker indicated that he had Michael on the phone. The worker wrote the amount down on a scrap of paper. I then wrote him a check on the trunk of my car. Michael later e-mailed me an invoice for a slightly lesser amount than what I was told to pay. He then sent another invoice that matched the amount for which I wrote the check. It was a long and frustrating day! This company advertises on KFI Radio. I have hired other advertisers in the past who have been endorsed by talk radio host Bill Handel (i.e., copper repiping, window replacements, etc.) and received good service. I was not later contacted by this company to determine my satisfaction with the work. I think this company could vastly improve its customer service by correcting the deficiencies I noted above. This company does not take credit cards.

They were advertising very heavily on the radio. I didn’t get a written estimate or a written bill as well. I had written an email to them asking them for some kind of a document confirming that they were actually here. According to my wife one of the sprinkler lines that they fixed leaks a lot but I don’t see it. They tried to sell us some additional work that really wasn’t necessary. We are definitely not going to use them again. For the services they provided their prices were a little high.

We called the company and made an appointment to have a representative come to the house to see what needed to be done, and to give us a quote. The person was very knowledgable, professional, and friendly. We decided right away to go ahead and have the work done, and they were able to start on Monday (this was Saturday - when he came out). On Tuesday it was all done, and now our sprinklers work great! We are very happy, and definently would use them again.
