Description of Work: Carlos was prompt and curtious and very patient with us. We had several scheduling problems of our own doing. In the end we decided to cancel the project. What is the procedure for requwting a refund for the coupon. Thank You J. M. Layne

Description of Work: Carlos responded promply to phone call and provided quote for our bathroom remodeling. What we did like was that out of the quote so much of the money was allowed toward tile, cabinet, faucet and paint. We went out on our own and picked out our tile, faucet and paint he credited the money to us that he allotted in the quote. We went over the amount he allowed however , that was our choosing and the additional cost was out of our pocket. We went over everything we could think of in the contract and had him list for us what was covered for the price. We did not pay extra to him for shower doors. We went through another company TWShowerdoors and they did and excellent job, extremely happy with the shower doors . We demo our bathroom except for the tub enclosure, he removed that for us. Carlos built the shower area and brought in others who hot moped the bottom of the shower. You have to watch his employees as they do not always go according to the agreement we made. Example: we wanted the cut out in the shower area for shampoo and soaps in a specific location so to no be seen when you walk into the bathroom. We noticed it was wrong and called Carlos out to examine it. He agreed it was not what we wanted and he did correct it. Set us back a couple of days. We had a tile type pattern put on the walls about 2/3 way up to break up the pattern. Carlos did the work however so of the pattern was no straight. We brought that to his attention and he redid the area. When the bathroom was completed it looks great. I would only recommend you keep and eye on the work and make sure what they do daily is what you expected. We did ask if he could paint and put tile down in our other bathroom floor. We had to have him touch up some painted areas that were missed. He did have someone else put the tile flooring in and they did excellent cut outs around the existing tub however, when they go to the bathroom door there is a gap between the tile and the carpet. He suggested we put down a metal stripping and that is not the look we wanted. My husband will complete that as we didnot like his suggestions.

Description of Work: No services were performed. I was looking for a contractor to paint the exterior of my home. I contacted Guzman Contractors 8/22/12. Their first available appointment was 8/31/12. Carlos Guzman and I spoke at my home. Mr. Guzman was prompt and professional, and when he departed he said I'd receive an email estimate by 9/7/12. I've NEVER heard from him, email or telephone. I selected another contractor 9/11/12.
