He did not charge extra for the light tube. He understood what needed to be done and did it promptly and efficiently.

Bill did an excellent job of assembly and hanging cabinets in my garage. He came out the week before to discuss options and make recommendation on how the cabinets should be hung and gave me an free estimate. I ordered the cabinets based on our discussion and design and had them delivered from Home Depot. Bill hung them in one day and did a good job of cleaning up the garage when he was done. He even put cardboard under his truck so that he would not get any oil on my driveway. His estimate was $500.00 and he charged me $550.00 which I think is excellent. I would hire Bill again and plan to do so in the near future.

He did a good job last year installing my fence. I will continue to use his service. He does good work.

Bill is an amazingly honest, professional handyman! His price quotes are fair for the work required, he offers cost savings options and will give genuine recommendations for additional work, pros cons of options, etc. To top it off, he seems to legitimately have expertise in a wide-variety of home repairs; I never got the impression he was just telling me what I want to hear to secure the job. I am completely satisfied with both jobs I've asked him to perform and would hire him again.

Because of the very high price, I did not use this provider. I called another handyman who did the same job for $35. Later I learned that the local fire department will change smoke detector batteries for free (with the consumer providing the batteries).

Bill did a wonderful job......great workmanship.....had better ideas for the shelves than the pictures I gave him....pleasant to have around. I chose Bill because of the feedback/ratings he received on Angie's List......he has a very high overall A rating and no D's/F's because he acts professional by returning phone calls, coming when he is supposed to and does a quality job.

The old one had to be cut out from underneath and everything totally replaced. He did the job quick but very thorough. Nice guy

Bill did a beautiful job replacing the piece so that it looks like part of the original beam, and treated the connecting pieces. He even did another minor repair on a squeaky door while he was here for no extra charge. He did a great job and was wonderful to work with.

Overall the results of the stucco repair were better than Bill or I expected. Bill worked on the project over several days, as it must be inspected after the tar paper is installed, before the stucco can be applied.

Each job went well. There were a few jobs, such as the doorbell installation, that did not turn out perfectly the first time. Bill cheerfully did the trouble shooting and rework necessary to make everything right.

The weekend before Christmas our tenant called to say her toilet was leaking, apparently from the tank. I called Village Handyman, Bill, whom I had used before joining Angie's list, and he was able to go out right away to check on the situation for me. We live 250 miles away so having a responsible and trustworthy handyman in the area is a real asset. He said the connections were rusted and in his opinion the best lasting solution was to replace the toilet. I agreed and we discussed the replacement options. I have been happy with the Kohler toilets in my home so wanted to replace it with a Kohler, hence a higher price. He made sure the leak was stabilized and we agreed he would replace it the day after Christmas. Bill arranged everything with my tenant, bought all the needed parts and my preferred toilet and had it all replaced the morning of the 26th. In the past he has replaced broken windows and exterior doors and frames. He has always been professional, efficient and reliable. His prices are fair and I will continue to call him when I have a need.

Bill responded quickly and prioritized the repairs, getting the failing water heater replaced right away. Then, he worked on the other items. He was finished quickly. The cost was very reasonable, and, other than seeing the changes, you would never have known he was there. Everything was cleaned up. He was very good about explaining what was needed and what he did. I will use his services again for sure.

I called Bill on Friday and he was at our office on Monday morning. He saw the sign that needed to be fixed and he fixed it in under 5 minutes. He did a great job.

Bill was recommended by one of our neighbors who had a positive experience with him. When he came to give us an estimate we showed him the layout of the cabinets and the empty kitchen. He gave us his bid which, after getting higher bids from other installers, we selected his. Soon after the cabinets arrived (22 big boxes), Bill stopped by to check them out and finalize the schedule. We appreciated this extra care and concern. A few days later he got started. It was immediately apparent that Bill is an experienced carpenter, not just a jack-of-all-trades handyman. He had the know-how and tools to efficiently install our new, expensive cabinets. We know we only get one chance with cabinets to install them right. Bill is friendly, communicative and we enjoyed having him around to help with our project.
