He was prompt and very efficient and all work was completed the same day. One item he was unable to do himself , but he gave them the name of two companies who specialize in replacing that type of component (reverse osmosis water filtration system) . They would definitely utilize his services if they need repairs in the future.

It took a very long time to get a bid, almost three weeks and I had to contact him again in order to get it. We had a miscommunication regarding contact on one of the days of the job. The work was good, though we had to have him come back out to repair the latch on the gate he installed. He came out right away and took care of it promptly.

Excellent job. The reason I downrated him on responsiveness is that he said he would call first thing next week to schedule completing the drywall repair but I had to call him when I hadn't heard from him by the middle of the week. The final work was completed to my complete satisfaction.

Everything went well. Punctual & professional.

Installed post onto concrete sidewalk and set up two mailboxes. Finished to whole job in about an hour. Even offered to haul away old, broken mailboxes and packing materials.

Best service in the world. Highly recommend Bill for all of your needs. And to women and seniors who may be concerned about having someone in their home, Bill was exceptional. Old fashioned ethics - honesty, integrity and trustworthy. He is an absolute delight.

The old crown molding looked terrible and was removed for the new crown molding. Bill provided suggestions for the molding to purchase to obtain the results I was desiring. When the old molding was removed care was taken to minimize damage to the wall and ceiling. The new crown molding was installed and now just needs to be finished and painted. Bill did a good job on the install and it already looks better then the old molding. I will be using him in the future for some other small jobs.

The work went very well and we are happy with the results. I highly recommend Bill ! We weren't sure exactly what we wanted and Bill made excellent suggestions.

The jobs went very well. I like Bill's enthusiasm and get it done attitude. I also liked that he charges for services for each job - not by the hour. Because he had to get materials specific to each job he went to the hardware store and didn't waste any time getting them.

Bill did an excellent job of repairing damaged boards in my fence last year. He was very professional and communication was great. He purchased and installed the boards for me and after the job was done the boards looked so new and so close together that I was worried they would always stand out. But now, after a year of weathering, they look EXACTLY like the rest of the fence. He definitely knew what he was doing. He also knocked $50 off his original quote since the job went quicker than he expected. How often does that happen?!? I highly recommend him.

He arrived promptly and completed all the work including retrieval of special trim from his shop in two hours time. He clearly knew exactly what he was doing, working quickly and efficiently. We will definitely use Bill again.

The door: our previous door was SO old and had no weather stripping left and had a big gap under the bottom where cold and hot air came into the house. Bill came over, took quick measurements, and explained the differences in types of doors he could get. We made a quick decision and he came back once more before ordering the door to confirm his measurements, which I thought was extremely professional. Bill doesn't do any painting--as he says, he sticks to his strengths and I respect that. I'd rather have a handyman who is up front about what they do best and what they don't do so well so I don't have a poorly done job. Light fixtures: Our previous fixture flickered SO bad, sometimes it wouldn't even turn on at all. Bill replaced both of them and now the kitchen has great lighting. Faucet handle: Our cold faucet handle had come off in our downstairs powder room. I was sure we would need to get a new sink fixture but luckily, Bill was able to fix it! Lights in dining room: The bulb had burned out and when I replaced it, the switch did not activate it. Bill came out and checked it out, checking the fixture and the switch before informing me I needed a new fixture. I picked one out and he came out and installed it the next day. Light in hall: a minor thing but still very appreciated--the hall light at the bottom of my stairs burned out but is about 12' in the air and far out of reach from my 3' step stool. While out working on other things, Bill also changed that light bulb for me. Water Heater: we are currently selling our home and the water heater was not up to code w being double strapped, Bill came out and got it done. Bill is extremely flexible with scheduling and timing. He's been out on a Saturday and during the week. When my husband and I have something for Bill to do, we just leave our key and he works in our home while we are at work. Bill is extremely trust worthy and I have no problem with him being in my home while I am not. I look forward to sharing his name with others who need work done and using his services again in the future.

It was great! This was an Angie's List installation Deal - Ceiling fan installation for $150. Bill was right on time and did a great job. He even offered to haul away the old one for me. I would definitely call him again.

Bill always does an excellent job and I have NO problem refering him to others. I am very fussy and have NO problems with his work, promptness, cleanliness, prices, etc.

Bill did an incredible job of making sure that our entry staircases were safe. He explained the code to me and created a design that went very well with our home. When he came to do the work (all in one day!) he was courteous and clean. He was even considerate of my son's nap schedule, making sure to work in spots and wouldn't wake him. I was very impressed and will definitely contact him for future work.

This guy knows what he is doing, but bad mouths others on this site....unprofessional dude!! I had some other work I wanted him to do...but he really was not interested in doing anything that was "hard work". I then tried to get him to do some more "fun" things, and he said he would do them the week of Sept. 21st...then I never heard back...so will have someone else do them esp. since he refuses to paint. He did do a pretty good job on my back steps awhile back....many months...maybe a year...can't remember...but it took my husband a long long time to finally stain them.....and then my hubby didn't do a very good job of that...not totally covered : ( So, not really sure if I'd use him again or not....his is good at what he is willing to do...but a bit expensive for the quality of wood he used...which was stuff he already had on hand...so I think it should have been cheaper....it was easy for him and did not take him very long to do the actual work......but he spent time doing other things...talking on his phone....going to lunch....he could have been done in about half the time....and charged half as much.....but if you want someone who knows what he is doing and does NOT need much if any supervising and you are willing to pay for his credentials and don't need him to paint anything....he is your man.

The work looked great. There were 2 different textures for the dry wall areas and he matched both so you can not even tell. The kitchen plumbing was a mess and the back wall had been left open to the studs. Now it looks great. He advised us on the new kitchen sink to get so it would fit with the shape of the kitchen countertop. We had an out of town emergency and Bill worked with us and our time line. Will use him again!!!!!!

He was a nice enough fellow. Came over, gave a verbal anticipated estimate, told us what a problem it would be due to the fact that he is only one guy who does the work. A problem says he. Told us he would get back to us and we never heard from him again. We did have the work done in the amount of 2,400.00, and very nice work. From a different provider. Again, Village Handyman never returned our calls or got back to us. We think Village Handyman is just that. Small jobs that take minimal labor and odd jobs.

Bill was great. Bill met with us initially to discuss what we needed and made recommendations. He took care of everything from ordering the security door and plexiglass to purchasing the pet door. He arrived on time, cut the plexiglass and security door to fit the pet door. It was absolutely beautiful! We couldn't be more pleased with the results. As a bonus, he fixed the latch on our fence gate at no charge. Bill is friendly and easy to talk to. When it was time to pay Bill, he provided all the receipts for purchases. He did not mark up any items. We were extremely impressed with his craftsmanship and professionalism. I will not hesitate to call Bill again with any handyman work we might need. Thanks, Bill!

Nice man from previous work done. Habitually late or not initially prepared. Once started work is acceptable. Brought him back for several estimates. Late. Never heard back from him again. Already know I will be hearing from him as he does not find any B ratings acceptable and stated that he was no longer receiving work because of my rating. Being a kind man, felt bad and edited my ratings. This last time, had requested bids for a backyard patio, floor replacement; walkway, kitchen, guest and master bath, window installations, and a few small easy repairs. Never heard back from him again. Previously had 3 contacts with him. Again, a very nice man unless you give him a B rating. I'm nervous about being honest here but my husband said to include my experiences as we were on a tight deadline to get the work done and completely missing our anticipated dates to get work done. Our fault for not looking into a backup person. Would go back and be honest with my reviews yet no longer find it necessary. Do not want him to contact me any longer.

Very professional. He kept in touch by phone even if he was just a little bit late. I really appreciated that. Always respectful and friendly attitude. We will use his business again.
