Description of Work: Couldn't find the problem wanted to charge $180.00 for less than an hour work. I only paid $100.00 that Inthought was a fair price, since the problem was not taken care of. I would not use them again. The serviceman did a good job, the office adminstration was the problem

Some of the people that work for them are better than others so I always request a specific person. Their prices are in the range of plumbing prices. I have used them before and will use them again.

 + 0 moreScheduling, organization and followup paperwork was all handled very smoothly and professionally. The work itself was also done very smoothly and efficiently, with minimal disruption, and everything was cleaned up perfectly at the end. Would not hesitate to use them again. In fact, I've had Mr. Rooter come twice in the last several months to clean house drains (bathroom sink and tub) and was very pleased with the competence and professionalism of their worker each time. Not only did they complete the task, but they answered questions thoughtfully and even made helpful suggestions regarding other plumbing issues.
Description of Work: Trenchless replacement of sewer lateral about 30 ft from house to street, installing new cleanout at the house, cutting and replacing a section of sidewalk, cutting and replacing section of an underground drain (from downspouts) which had been laid in the same area above the sewer lateral and was in the way of their access to the sewer lateral below.

 + 0 morePerfectly. We've used Mr. Rooter on University Ave. many times over the course of twelve years in our management of 35 apartment units. They are extremely reliable, and, as we have purchased a lifetime service contract with them for about $300, they provide service 24 hours per day. Their prices are not basic repair prices, so we bring them in on the difficult situations, the middle-of-the-night situations, and have them contact tenants directly to make repairs to save ourselves time coordinating. For these cases they are well-priced.
Description of Work: Specific repair completed last month: rebuild toilet interior mechanisms.

 + -1 moreI did not spend anything because it was under warranty. I would recommend them to other members. They cost a little more, but I can buy a plan for the house which remains even after I sell the house. I once had some work done, I had spent $300 on the plan but saved on $1000 on the work.

 + -1 moreI really liked them. They cost a little more than the others but if we join some of their plans we get really good deals that would somewhat match their price with that of the others. The plan goes with the duration of the house. So if we eventually sell this house we?ll be selling the plan too along with it. If we are one of the subscribers to their plans we are given priority, and they come out quickly. The work that they had last performed was really good and we are really pleased with it. They have never given me a feeling that their work was inadequate.
Description of Work: The Mr. Rooter Plumbing crew had replaced our sewer main from the house out to the street the last time they had come here. There was also a supervisor who used to come and check the work. It had taken them a couple of days to finish the work.
