Description of Work: They were terrific. I needed a new heating duct, and the configuration of the basement made this very challenging. Using ingenuity and skill, they were able to install the new duct with minimal impact on the house. I was very pleased.

Description of Work: they were quite thorough in reviewing our aged air conditioning system and explained to us its current condition; they did not urge us to go out and buy their super-duper model, but rather methodically set about to repair and replace various parts with our current system to keep it running efficiently

Description of Work: I used them twice. The first time was when they installed my home furnace in 1997. They did a great job. So when the furnace went out after some heavy rain several years back (maybe 2007?) we brought them in to see what the problem was. They said that we had water come up to where some delicate parts are and needed major repairs. I decided to get a second company in to check it and they said that yes the water went up to that point but the parts were fine. When I called Atlas back they said that since the water went that high they routinely replace everything just in case, but they didn't tell me that up front. That's why I rated them poorly for this latest service (but gave them C's overall due to the good job on their original install). I have since remodeled and installed a new furnace and did not use them again and will not use them again based on their last service.

Description of Work: We needed to replace our furnace, so we asked for bids. Atlas was not the cheapest or most expensive, but they were the most thorough in their explanation . Their work is also performed by members of the IBEW, so I knew that it would be professional. | |The entire process was professional and communicative from start to finish. Once work started, which was on-time, they found problems with our duct work, which was over 50 years old. They offered to replace the entire ducting at a discounted rate, since they were already on-site doing the work. We accepted this offer because we would not pass inspection otherwise. | |At every step they kept us informed, talked through the process, and kept their appointments. The work is now done, everything works as it should, and they were helpful in making sure of it. | |I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: They replaced all of the ducts in my house and installed a new furnace and air conditioner.

Description of Work: They repaired the pilot light on the furnace. All went well and it has been fine for the last year since they did repairs.

Description of Work: Did a check-up and tune up of A/C unit. They also wrapped a coil that was causing some condensation. Otherwise everything was good.

Description of Work: Atlas Heating originally installed our gas furnace, and they did an excellent job. This visit was for cleaning and maintenance of the system. As we had neglected to keep up with regular maintenance, the system needed a new condenser pump and some other repairs. All work was done efficiently and on time.

Description of Work: We received a quote from Atlas only. The sales man was very knowledgable and spent quite a lot of time explaining everything to us. Our only gripe is that the quote was not clear, and was pretty far off from the verbal ballpark we were talking to during the consultation. However, we may go for another quote from these guys this summer.
