They were excellent. They were really polite, knowledgeable, on time, respectful, and did a really great job. They did not try to up sell anything. They came and did their job and left. They respected our house. We just had new wood floors put down and we were concerned that they might scratch it with the equipment they brought with them. They took care while doing the work and they were very pleasant to deal with. People have great things to say about Atlas. The company is very old. I asked all kinds of questions to the person I spoke to while scheduling an appointment. She was very patient and very thorough in her explanation about different kinds of vents and what they provide. They told me that they would first use a method of cleaning the vent and if that did not work they would reschedule me. She really understood me. She gave me a lot of information and I appreciate that. They are definitely more expensive, but I was happy to use somebody who knew what they were doing.

The technician wore booties on his shoes to avoid tracking mud through the house, which I appreciated. The technician was punctual, courteous, friendly and answered my questions. The work took about 90 minutes and the cost was reasonable. The experience was very good and I would use Atlas again. The technician also stopped to give a battery-jump to a neighbor's car.

What a fantastic company to work with! When the estimator came to my house, I was very impressed with how thorough he was. He inspected every aspect of my current heating system (every vent, air intake, electrical needs, piping under the house, etc.) His estimate was the same as another company's, but he pointed out something that needed to be done which the other company missed. His proposal was much more comprehensive in outlining what needed to be done. He explained everything very clearly. Professional through and through. The installer was punctual, clean, and finished in a timely basis. He was very good at explaining how everything worked and how it was configured. Again, professional through and through. The furnace passed inspection with flying colors. In fact, the inspector commented on how consistently good Atlas is. The office staff were very responsive. None of my calls went unanswered. They sent me the rebate and tax credit forms immediately after I paid (which I did on the day the installation was finished.) Again, professionals to the core. I highly recommend Atlas, and will absolutely use them again.

I was very satisfied with the professional and knowledgeable technician that came to fix the heater. Took just 5 minutes to figure out what was wrong and replace the component. The price was a bit high, but I understand that the price reflects not just the time, but the cost of business?health care, liability insurance, service vehicles, rent, salaries, etc...

They did everything on time. They did a good job. I was an engineer myself. I knew how to check quality and they turned out to be pretty good.

Furnace did not fire up at start of winter. A service call (with another company) resulted in recommendation to replace furnace instead of repair it due to age. Got 3 estimates. Atlas was competitive with another estimate, however became the lowest bidder with 10% recession discount, $200 preseason rebate, and $190 union rebate that others did not offer. Lowest price did not mean low quality work. It is hard to imagine that any company would outperform Atlas's service. Atlas was my first estimate. As I become more knowledgeable, I called the cell number the estimator provided to ask follow-up questions. Both times, he returned my calls promptly and answered all of my questions. When another job needed to be rescheduled, he called to schedule me in the now open time slot to help ensure the work would be complete before my summer break ended. When the old furnace was removed, the installer found a huge rats' nest and two dead rats. He removed all of this and disposed of it for me. He also did work to increase airflow at no additional charge that others had recommended and for which one company billed extra. Where other companies made it sound like they would be doing special things to improve installation/efficiency, Atlas just did them as part of the job. Following installation, Atlas helps with the paperwork for all the available rebates (currently union, PG&E, and state) and explains the available federal tax credit. From start to finish, the people at Atlas were professionals who did their job well and tried to make it as easy as possible for the customer to have the best possible experience.

One man responded and another came by to pick up a part from him for another job, but willingly stayed until problem was corrected. As the unit was on the roof and one man was needed on the first floor, it was a two person job. Their dispatch was willing to reroute people so that both men were able to be there.

We got a couple of other estimates. We felt very comfortable with them. We haven't done anything yet. They seemed very professional and knowledgeable about tax credits and rebates. Another guy was misleading and I didn't feel that way about Atlas. They were responsive to use when I asked follow up questions. If we end up going that way, we will consider using them.

They were prompt and able to complete the work quickly. I am very satisfied with their service and they called a month later to make sure I was.

They were a little bit on the expensive side. The unit they offer is not a top of the line brand.

They were very prompt and thorough. They came out when they said they would for the estimate. They gave me multiple options for solving the problem, including options that they don't implement. It was nice to be able to see the whole spectrum. Their prices were reasonable and it wasn't a huge deal. The execution was very good and it took less time than we expected. They stuck around to teach and talk to us about how to use the system, so they were not in a hurry to rush off.

We were very pleased with the company as they were quick, professional and knowledgeable. We will use them again next year to perform maintenance service on our heater.

Good. Another company had told us we should replace the entire air conditioning system, but Atlas found that most of the system was fine, with only one section needing repair. We appreciate the fact that they are willing to try to keep an older system going and aren't just pushing sales of expensive new replacements for no reason. We will ask them to perform the repair and future maintenance.

Their quote was the best one compared to others, so we chose them. Their services were good.

The work was accomplished very quickly and competently. Best off all, on the second visit, when the problem may or may not have been related to the first visit, the technician did not charge for his work. I am very satisfied with my experience.

The duct cleaning was done using a truck-mounted vacuum system. During this process, a section of 14" wire-flex return duct collapsed at a sharp bend dear the furnace. Although this may have been due to the materials and technique used at installation years earlier, Atlas repaired the duct at no charge. This turned a 3-hour job into a 6-hour job, but the technician and supervisor were great. They explained what had happened, and made sure that everything was cleaned, restored, and working properly before they left. They were very professional, and I will hire Atlas for any future HAC work.

The service was great. They showed up on time and the price was reasonable. There were a few mistakes made by the salesman but in the end I am quite happy with the heater.

They came out here and took care of it. They took the old stuff away and cleaned it up and made everything up to code. They did a clean job. It didn't work after they put it in so I called their customer service and they had someone there in a couple of hours. Then it worked fine.

Everyone that I dealt with was professional and friendly. The service was excellent and I got a very good price.
