Atlas Heating and Air Conditioning is located in same West Oakland building as it was in 1927. Atlas employs an average of 35 people (seven for 25 + years) and has separate repair/maintenance and installation departments. Residential maintenance agreements and commercial service contracts are popular, also our reminder service. Energy Upgrade and California First (PACE Program) certified. Great people, very professional.

Very Well!
Description of Work: Service call for my 40 year old plus home furnace. Attendant was knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. Performed all required servicing and did not try to sell a new furnace, which has often been the case with previous furnace companies when coming to do a general service. Attendant was able to provide a new belt for the furnace motor(delivered it the next day without any additional charge)previous company suggested I go on line to locate a belt! Overall, very pleased with Atlas and would definitely use them again...especially when the time comes to replace my Alladin Furance that still works beautifully.

Description of Work: PG&E had inspected in March and said we needed a fan. When the people got here in October, they found that since the March inspection the engine had stopped (due to a squirrel in the duct). They fixed the whole thing, although due to the age of the furnace, it was difficult. The charge was extremely reasonable given the time they spent. They were extremely courteous and neat.

Description of Work: A mechanical engineer came to give the estimate. Very knowledgeable and informative. Omitted one item of refund for duct testing, but otherwise very good but unfortunately wanted three days to complete installation of furnace and as and his estimate was 35% higher than company selected.
