Description of Work: A tree in the front yard had destroyed the drainage line from the house and back yard so that when it rained the back yard flooded and water pooled by the downspouts in the front yard. They made a new line bypassing the section destroyed by the tree. In doing so they cut through an underground sprinkler pipe but upon notification came to repair it immediately. In the year so it has functioned well and there has been no more flooding.

Description of Work: Used twice in last few months. Professional and prompt and courteous. Cleared main drain, but wouldn't reattach a shower drain without having $5000 of sewage remediation done first. I did it myself in 15 minutes. Second time they diagnosed a water heater thermo-coupling, but wanted me to order it myself and wanted over $200 to install. Tennant did it in 1/2 hour. Pricing is definitely on high end.

He showed me how to fix low pressure in the faucet, so if it happens again, I can try that before I call a plumber.

 + 0 moreSince we haven't had to use the services of a plumber before (our house is only 5 years old), we wanted to be as careful as possible during our selection process. I decided to use Angie's List to find someone that we could trust to do the right job and for a good price. Well, we got both, and more! Our upstairs bathtub was clogged, and we tried numerous times and products to unclog the drain. Eventually, due to my busy work schedule and my lack of time to repair the situation, we found Martin Plumbing on Angie's List. When I spoke with Rich, he said that he could swing by our house within an hour or so, and since it was late in the afternoon, I thought that this response was spectacular. When he arrived at my home, my wife led him to the upstairs bathroom, which he unclogged in a matter of minutes. We also had him look at a faucet that was acting up in the same area, and it turned out that it was a certain part that we needed to change out. I spoke with him on the phone and he told me what I needed and it sounded like something that I could do on my own in a matter of minutes. I thanked him and hung up, but I never expected what came next! He actually left my home once the work was done, and then returned about 30 minutes later with the part he picked up at a local hardware store and changed it out for us at no charge! As far as I'm concerned, this would have to be the best plumbing service that I've EVER received! Very professional, punctual, and priced just right. We will definitely be calling him for our next project, no questions asked! Thanks Rich!

 + -1 moreIt went very well. I talked with Mr. Martin on the phone Thursday. He gave me an estimate Saturday morning. The work was done Monday afternoon. Very easy.
Description of Work: This is a new company that is very good. It's a one man show. Rich is a smart, pleasant, professional. He will soon have his contractor's license, and already works better than most contractors I've ever dealt with. When I first called him, he answered the phone himself and was very helpful. He appeared on time for the estimate, told me specifically what I needed to purchase, showed up promptly at the scheduled time and performed the work efficiently. Granted, my job was small, but I am confident that his new company will be very busy before long with all kinds of jobs big and small. Like I said, he's smart and knows his work. I had him replace most of my toilet's guts, steady it with a shim, and replace the shower hardware. The whole process was painless including his bill.
