I attempted a homeowner fix which resulted in a broken pipe in the wall. I called Martin Plumbing and they had a plumber at my house within 15 min. I was stunned. They were fast, professional and reasonable. I highly recommend them!! They are now on speed dial with me. Thank You.

Did not find leak because the leak apparently self sealed. (Reduced fee as a result) Explained options/expectations for future issues. Very Please with service.

I had a blocked shower drain and when I snaked it, it had seemed like I had cleared the blockage until I heard water hitting the ground in the crawl space. Figured I had hit a weak spot in the decades old pipe and broke through the pipe wall. I called Martin Plumbing on a Sat afternoon and they had a plumber out here on Sun afternoon and on time. Eddie was friendly and professional. After crawling under the house it turns out one joint in the drain from 20 years ago wasn't glued (only pushed into the slip fitting) and I had popped it out. He glued it up and tested for leaks. He was here for about 20 minutes on a Sun and did the simple fix for no charge. Seriously. So after that I asked him for a quote on redoing the whole stack which is about 40-50 years old and I know needs replacing, I've just been putting it off, all the drains are slow. He came back with a very reasonable number. Great service.

Called at noon on a Saturday and Josh promised to have someone here by 2:30. Justin arrived at 2 and was very professional. We had already plunged, cleared the trap and used a 5 foot snake in from the inside. I have a 66 year old home with original plumbing underground which includes a cleanout location that no previous plumber in 20 years has been able to open due to years of rust and paint buildup. That ended today!! How that young man was able to get the cap off in 100+ heat was beyond me. He cleared the line enough so that the drain worked however, he advised me that each time he pulled out the snake, there was more caked grease and grime on the snake. The diameter of the snake easily cleared the line from the sink but the buildup was in the larger section of the pipe. I asked how we could completely clear this line and he explained they use a portable power water jet to break up the buildup. As Justin was putting the pipes back together under the sink, he noticed a rusted section on the original pipe in the wall. With all the motion, a small section gave way which started a new leak. Not his fault, just an old home. He explained the options to repair that (emphasizing it was all covered under the original estimate). As it was late and we had guests arriving soon, he put a temporary patch on the pipe so we could use the sink, we scheduled the water jet clean for Tuesday, and he will replace the rusted pipe then (with no additional charge). I will update this review after work is complete on Tuesday.

All went great and price was good as well. This was a tight situation for us to have this done today. And as soon as possible. They were easy to work with and were here within 2 hours of calling. I'm very please and was quite happy to write this review of their services. )

He came out to snake all the lines and after realizing it needed something more he came back to scope it and then power flushed. For the amount of work I felt it was a very fair price.

The service rep arrived early, was professional and friendly. He completed all the work in a little over 2 hours including time to get parts. He left everything clean and tidy. I am very happy with Martin Plumbing's professionalism, quality of work, and personnel. I would recommend them to anyone with no reservations.

Spoke to Richard Martin on the phone and was so pleasant to deal for schedule and price. When Eddie (lead plumber) and Justin (apprentice plumber) showed up on time they went straight to work. Eddie was intimidating at first but, was the most professional vendor that I have EVERY used in the last 30 years of owning homes and outsourcing my needs that require a CSLB license. I would recommend Eddie to everyone and I would call and ask for Eddie to return without a doubt. Richard Martin has an incredible assets on his Team with Eddie !!!!

He showed up already knowing what needed to be done, respected our home (shoes), explained what he was going to do and the pricing, and gave us a 30 day warranty on services provided. I'm keeping their number!

They were friendly and professional. They described what work was needed and gave me a quote.

They didn't even have the courtesy to respond to my request for a quote.

The first time the representative was scheduled to come out, no one showed up, When I called the office, I was told they had called me to reschedule (as they couldn't come out that day) and I had told them that I had other estimates and would choose someone else. They hadn't called me and I would not have said that, as they were the first service provider I called. The receptionist must have called someone else thinking it was me. I was dissatisfied as she was adamant she spoke with me and I know she hadn't (no on else answers my phone), but figured I would give them a second chance. The representative did show up on the correct day the second time around, but was over an hour late. He did call to let me know that the job before mine took longer than anticipated to complete. I was very unhappy by the time he arrived, but he was very courteous , respectful, and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a loose screw, which he promptly fixed. He also gave me a written estimate to replace the shower faucet when I needed to in the future and waived any charges for the repair. If asked if I would hire them again, I would say "yes" The service professional did outstanding work in diagnosing the problem and not trying to sell me on installing a new faucet (I had already purchased a new faucet and it was sitting on the counter). He advised it wasn't needed at this time. I appreciated his honesty, his call to tell me he was running late and the waiving of fees. My advice would be to keep in close contact with the receptionist/scheduler so things don't go awry.

I highly recommend Martin Plumbing to everyone I talk to, the price was excellent, the response time was fast.

The new water heater was installed on a Friday and all was hooked up to use water over the weekend. He advised us to buy a garbage disposal at less expense and he would install it. On Monday he returned to complete the water heater and install the disposal. He was very nice and professional. He did what he promised in a timely manner. My daughter was there to make sure that all was done and she had a good experience. I have also used Martin to replace plumbing in my bathrooms with excellent results.

It went well. We called at 10:30 am on a Sunday. They sent out a guy to arrive anywhere between 11-12. Within two hours, everything was replaced, and we were good to go. When it comes to plumbing, you pay for what you get. Martin's Plumbing is great. They are a bit pricey, but I have that peace of mind knowing that the job was done correctly.

Fantastic as I have mostly found with Martin. Only one employee ever really turned me off. As usual this was a good experience as many I have had with Martin Plumbing. Josh Miller installed the water heater. He is an incredible employee of Martin's standards. He was knowledgeable, efficient. and took the time to explain to me how the new water worked. Not so good. Leak was not fixed because Johnny wrote a proposal for a new sink, faucet and underneath plumbing and did not want to charge me twice for the same repair. I knew I could not use the dishwasher, but it turned out I could not use the one side of the sink also. I called Martin and Johnny came out again and plugged the leak. A month went by and I had no word about the proposal so I wrote Martin a letter. They called back within a few days saying I would have to have a custom made sink. I know the sink is a problem and was not surprised. Bottom line is I am a huge fan of Martin, but not all their employees/contractors are of the same high standards.

Called Jan.2, 2017 and they sent Johnny to my address. Johnny was very kind and he cleaned it out within 20 minutes. He said it might be a root problem in the drain. He told me how they can correct it. I will use them in the future if I have problems again.

They arrived within 20 minutes of calling for an estimate. Price was a little more than I expected but I don't often hire for jobs so not sure what to expect. Bernardo was very polite and did a great job. When checking for leaks he found a very small one so he took it apart to fix it and had it resolved quickly.

First appt for estimate cancelled 1 hour before (worker didn't show up for work); second appt spent 45 mins discussing work to be done, written estimate never sent. After 2 wks called company and told guy quit due to "illness" so made 3rd appt, another 45 minutes discussing work to be done. Estimate finally received after over 10 days, absolutely incomplete as to what was discussed and needed; emailed back 4 areas that needed answering. No response after 2 weeks, called company, eventually got yet another incomplete written estimate (no coordination with tiling, omitted some items so cost estimate useless). Sent email to Martin Plumbing that I was irate and done with them....then 3 days later received voicemail from owner. Way too late. I used this company for basic plumbing before, they did okay. Something's wrong with company now, totally unreliable. Will find another company that is reliable, complete, cares. Would never use them again, recommend against using this company if you actually want more than a toilet clog cleaned and don't care about timeliness.

Great! The tech ordered the part and had it delivered to my house. They were $75 less than another company.

Estimate took way to long & was then incomplete

I could not have been more satisfied. I called and one hour later the repairman was at my door. He found the problem, went to a store for the parts; returned and fixed the problem. Also, he was extremely friendly through the the process. I would absolutely use them again.

They did a great job; I've been using them for two years. I'm always happy with their work. They had to go down a rather steep set of stairs to get into my cellar, but they did wonderful work. I would recommend them to anyone.
