Martin Plumbing

Today was the second time I had this company out. Both times they were excellent. The first time I had a leaky toilet in the shop. I did not know where the leak was coming from. They determined that the toilet was running non stop and leaking at the wax ring. They removed the toilet and capped the supply line. They made sure that the sink on the other side of the wall still had water to it. I was very pleased with their work and price. While at my home they hooked up at water line to my refrigerator for only 45.00 since they were already here. Today I had another leak at my shop. They dug down and found the leak, turned off the water and fixed the pipe correctly. They determined which way the water was flowing so that if there are any further problems we can cap this line and not effect my use of outside water faucets. The second job was done in about 2 hrs. They gave me a 10% discount without asking for it. The second job cost me only 144.50 I have already called my son and given their name and number to him.

We first called and set an appointment to get an estimate on repairing the problem. Rich suggested that we get a camera inspection done so that they can see the cause of the problem and how extensive of a repair it would be. He said that there is a $250 fee for the camera inspection but it would go toward the cost of the whole job. I was worried a little just in case I paid the $250 and then the estimate came out too high and I was going to have to look for another estimate. Tim and Josh came out on the appt. day and ran the camera to see the issue. They didn't get too far due to the roots. They had to get their power snake out and clear the line before they put the camera through. They then saw two root obstructions and a "belly" (where it sunk) in the pipe. So actually the camera and snaking was worth it. It cleared the pipe temporarily so that I did not have any back up.Then they were able to give a precise estimate on the pipe replacement. To my surprise the estimate was VERY reasonable. A couple of years ago when I had the drain snaked I had an estimate made and was shocked by the price. That is why we waited a little. So I discussed the estimate with my wife and we decided to have it done. The estimate was done on Monday and I called Rich on Tuesday. He had an opening for Thursday to do the repairs. On Thursday Tim and Josh came back out to do the work. The started about mid morning and was able to finish that day. The longest part was the digging since it was all done by hand. They had to dig a trench starting at about 1.5 feet deep and ending at about 3.5 feet. Looked like a lot of work.They had to remove some of our brick walkway and landscape but when they were done they had neatly put them back in its place.I just did some minor adjustments to the brick ( a little anal ).Tim and Josh very polite and courteous. They did an excellent and professional job. The job was done very quickly to my surprise.We are very happy with the job performed.

Came home and found that the platform under the water heater was wet. Called Martin Plumbing at 5:30 pm and at 6:00 pm received a call back from Rich that Tim will be at our house in 45 min. He was punctual and arrived at 6:45 pm and he said he will do the job now. We were very surprised by that since it was a Saturday and we assume the job will be done on Monday and he said there was no extra charge for nights and weekends. Tim went out and bought a new water heater and installed it. The work was completed at 9:00 pm and the heater was working great. Tim took the old heater with him for disposal and left the area very clean. Tim was very professional and courteous. We will definitely recommend Martin Plumbing to anyone that ask us if we know a good plumbing company.

I have never been happier with a job. Kelly from Martin Plumbing was on time, honest, and responsible. Every job was explained , demonstrated for completion, and cleaned up. I wish that I only had to call Martin Plumbing for all my repairs on everything. Martin Plumbing has a higher standard then most businesses. Kelly, the repairman on this job, made me feel comfortable and unconcerned about having a stranger in my home. Martin Plumbing is now my ONLY plumber. I am looking forward to working with them in the future.

It was a Friday morning and we had stuff coming up in our tub and overflowing in our toilet. We had a mess. They came out that afternoon and got us under repair. They were punctual and came when they said. I still was having problems upstairs and three weeks later they came back and didn't charge me for the call. I had told them about the upstairs, but they hadn't addressed that at their first visit because they were just trying to fix the immediate mess. Both times they were very punctual, polite, and professional. I would definitely recommend them to others and use them again.

I called the plumbing company and was able to talk to the owner, Richard , he came out to my home on time , He explained in detail exactly what he was going to do, and the job went exactly how he said. Everything went perfect . His price was also less than everybody else and his warranty was better and longer . Rich Martin did a fantastic job. He was able to help me out on a Saturday morning and not only reconnected the aerator to the faucet but he also caulked the sink as well. It looks like brand new. He used his shop vac to clean up and the work area was spotless. I was so impressed with Rich's customer service and outstanding work. I would highly recommend Martin Plumbing.

I've only been in Tracy, California for a couple of years when the house that I acquired started having plumbing problems. I called a couple of plumbers in the area but the reception that I received was not what I expected. So I called Martin Plumbing and imediately Rich was able to schedule an appointment for me with his man Kelly the next day which is Sunday. Kelly was very professional, experienced and thorough. Overall he did an excellent job and charged me fairly . I highly recomment Martin Plumbing and would definitely use them again.

From beginning to end this was an excellent experience. Rich Martin returned my call within 15 minutes of my e-mail and asked if they could come the same afternoon. When it wasn't possible for me he called the next morning and Tim came that morning. He told me what needed to be done within 5 minutes of arrival and the jobs were finished within an hour. The cost was minimal and Tim was friendly and knowledgable. I will definitely call Martin Plumbing the next time I need to.

Martin Plumbing was the third plumber I called with a low water flow problem in our shower. The previous two wanted to rip out a wall to solve the problem. Tim showed up on time and immediately understood our problem and had a solution. He suggested we try to back flow the hot water pipes using the cold water faucet. He solved our problem in 20 minutes for less than $100. He was professional and friendly, a joy to work with. I highly recommend Tim and Martin Plumbing.

He completed the work in a satisfactory fashion. He had to come back a couple of times because the inlet valve, which is the waterline that goes to the toilet, leaked a couple of times. It was an old line and we chose not to replace it. He came back each time at no additional cost and took care of it. After the second or third visit, he said that if it leaked again, he would replace the line, but it didn’t leak after that. Just as a matter of coincidence, I had a friend who had his hot water heater go out last weekend and I recommended Rich to go out there. He thought he was going to have to replace his hot water heater, but Rich got out there and did some repairs and told that the heater would last another 5 to 7 years. He is a great guy and works 7 days a week. He is a guy, who I think, is trying to build up his clientele because he is a young guy. He is just topnotch. One of the things that attracted me to him was his prices. I was pleasantly surprised how reasonable he was. The quality of his work was very good; even though he had to follow up a couple of times, it wouldn’t lessen my opinion about him.

Showed up promptly (under 30min) after called and did the job as described for the quoted price. Pleasant to deal with thumbs up!

When remodeling my shower, I decided to replace the valve as well as the hardware. I soon discovered I didn't have the right tools or knowledge to complete the job correctly. I contacted Martin Plumbing and Tim, the technician came to my home the same afternoon, completed the job in a timely and efficient manner. Very professional, courteous and knowledgable. Highly professional from beginning to end - after thoroughly evaluating the situation, found a quick solution. I would recommend them to a friend!

I needed a plummer and found one on Angie's List. I was going to change my bathroom faucet myself, but found that I couldn't because the builder and not done a correct job. I called Martin Plumming and (Rich) said he would send someone out in about half an hour. Kelly arrived well in time, He gave me an estimate that seemed reasonable to me and could do the job right then. He was very professional, courteous and did a very good job. He left my bathroom clean, no mess anywhere! I plan on using them again in the future. They do sprinklers and I would like to put a sink in my garage!

I assumed it was the flex line that was that was leaking, but I am not into plumbing. Plumber diagnosed the problem right off the git go. Within less than an hour, the line was replaced and it is working fine. Nice man who asked me for additional problems which at first I thought he was trying to sell me some additional service. In retrospect I realize he was just trying to help . You do not find that kind of service these days.

Very good service. We used them twice; once for my in-laws and once for our house. Both times service was excellent and they even performed a few minor tasks without extra charge when they were at our house. I would definitely use them again.

Excellent service. The installation / replacement of the hot water heater only took about an hour or so. When the hot water heater was tested it caused a stretch of exhaust pipe to burst as it was very old and corroded from the elements (the unit is outside the house.). They gave me reasonable advice and an estimate on replacement of that run of pipe. They complete that job on the spot within an hour or so as well. The hot water heater replacement was around $800 (the unit cost + labor) plus another $300 for replacing the burst pipes (the pipes needed to be corrosion free and there were multiple joints to replace and attach, etc, that's why it was a little more for 'replacing pipes'). All in all, very courteous plumbers with reasonable prices. I highly recommend them.

I can't say enough good about my experience with Martin's Plumbing. They were prompt, accurate, professional and honest in the bid and job. I had an estimate from another Plumbing Contractor to repair the stopped up drain lines in my rental house that happened to be 50 years old. That bid was for $6000. When I asked less costly options or alternatives I was told there were none short of replacing all the drain lines in the house. I contacted Rich with Martin's Plumbing and spoke to him about the same issues. He was able to come out the same day to evaluated the problem. He recommended that we power wash the drain lines first to see how much we could clear them and then look a second time to see what issues remained to be fixed. He did the power wash the next day $250 then gave me an estimate to replace the damaged pipe $650 and had it all completed in a couple of days. I will definitely call him again with any future plumbing issues and would highly recommend Rich and his company Martin's Plumbing.
