project was completed in two days, service was great, I would definitely hire them again.

The work was done to our satisfaction. Both the owner and the plumber sent to do the work were professional and responsible. We need additional work done on the pipes beneath our house, but felt no pressure from Martin plumbing to make a decision about the work right away. We will call them again when we need more work done.

Excellent tradesman, .he worked fast, efficient and safe. He was very informative in explaining the cause and the fix for the problem.

Martin plumbing showed up for our appointment on time. The plumber was very informative and curtious he used covers over his boots and brought a towel to clean up after himself. He found the problem and rectified the situation. Excellent servise.

All went well. Very happy and will use again if problems arise. I FOUND THEM TO BE VERY HONEST.

Most work was completed quickly and professionally. The water filter had to be ordered. I prepaid. Then somehow it never got ordered. Waited a few months then called to inquire. They apologized for the mix up, got it ordered right away and was installed promptly.

Had a mystery leak into a downstairs closet. We could not locate source of leak and called out Martin Plumbing. They came the next evening and also could not find the source of the leak that evening and said they would come back out the next morning and cut into the closet ceiling. The next morning they showed up right on time and went to work straight away. Once they cut into ceiling and unfortunately found extreme corrosion of all of the visible copper fittings and the pipe walls themselves (I've built and been around remodeling all of my life. I've never seen anything like this before. Consequently, I knew what had to be done , and sooner rather than later). Josh found the culprit of the corrosion. A subcontractor attached a galvanized pipe fitting directing directly to the copper main pipe into the house (not sure how the h*** someone didn't catch that during inspections - but that's another matter). I asked what their schedule was and to write me up a quote to do a complete re-route of the plumbing. They had a quote to me the next day. They estimated two to three plumbers could get the job the done in three days and about three days to repair dry wall.. Because of issues with our upstairs floor plan (no common wall upstairs to downstairs) it took them much longer to compete the job, an entire week plus the dry wall repair (which is incredibly well done. I cannot find most of the patches). But, the extra work and time on the job did not effect the final price. They stuck exactly to their quote and apologized profusely for the extra time it took. Based on the amount of work done, the materials, and quality of the work performed, I wold have expected to pay much more. These guys are great, punctual, professional, and reasonably priced. I won't call another plumber.

A bathroom sink was leaking underneath. Not bad and we didn't have to use it until someone could fix it. I told them it wasn't an emergency when I called them mid morning. And early afternoon that same day, 2 guys were there to fix it. (Imagine how fast if it was an emergency) They were very presentable and knowledgeable. When it turned out it was just a lose connection, they tightened it and then checked for any other leaks through the house. They did not charge for the call at all!!

Tim came out first but could not get his snake to make it far enough into the pipe to clear it. Kelly swapped jobs with him and was eventually able to get his smaller snake to clear the clog. I also had a camera run through the sewer line just to see if there was anything I needed to fix with this being a newly purchased older home. There was one set of roots in the city sewer line. There was also indication of a slight drain issue due to pipe not being at the correct angle throughout. This will have to be addressed at another time.

My experience with them was amazing. They were very prompt and definitely took care of the problem. They stuck to their quoted rate.

Martin plumbing serviceman was very responsive. He diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts that were required. He stated that the job will be completed the next day and he did. He was very clear in explaining the problem, the cost to fix it and very courteous.

I called Martin Plumbing for this work based solely on the reviews and ratings I saw on Angie's List. I'm happy to add my review to the other positive reviews. Sean was available to come early for the appointment. He explained everything he would be doing on the various items I had on my plumbing list - remove & replace a kitchen faucet and inspect all my connections along with the water heater inspection. While he was here, he was fine with me adding on a couple of other smaller items in one of the bathrooms. The main reason I wanted the inspection was because of some recent issues at neighboring homes. All our homes were built at the same time with the same plumbing subcontractor so I was feeling uneasy not knowing if my home might have the same problem as my neighbors. Thankfully all of my connections are good. Sean also explained why I didn't need to replace a copper line under the kitchen sink. I had been told a few months ago by an appliance repairman that it was corroded when in fact, it had gotten wet in one spot and was discolored. There wasn't any corrosion and the line didn't need to be replaced. I anticipate updating bathroom fixtures in the future and Martin Plumbing is the company I will call for this work.

Sean was a very nice and professional man that worked extremely hard. Josh and Sean fought thru roots, rock, and cement until they were able to install the lines. They even worked together with our landscaper and tree removal people. It was a nice experience since the last work we had done at the house we will have to sue them to get the job finished. Thank goodness for Angie's list I finally got someone to do a job right and finish it.

The experience I had was great.

Replaced angle valve, trimmed long toilet bolts.

They do full service plumbing and they are insured and bonded. I used them in January. Part of the issues with this house was a small amount of plumbing problems. One toilet was not seated correctly and was leaking. The dishwasher was connected incorrectly. They fixed that so that It drained effectively. I needed some assistance and advice with the drainage in the house. He did all 3 jobs in one day for a very reasonable price. He was great.

The cost was the exact price that they quoted. They removed the outdoor drain cap which had been fused on since it had not been removed for 40 years. The technician was competent and friendly and had over 30 years of experience. They were even able to come out the very same day and didn't have an after hours charge.

We now have hot water running within seconds in both the kitchen and the bathroom. I no longer feel guilty about running the water forit to get hot because I don't.

I was unable to remove and replace a bathroom sink drain assembly because it was old and "frozen" solid. After working on it for more than an hour I had it mostly disassembled before if became clear that I didn't have the ability, tools or knowledge to proceed. The next morning I called Martin Plumbing, stated my case and a repairman arrived four hours later. Although I had been quoted a service price, the actual cost was 20% less. The work was completed in less than an hour by a thoroughly competen, pro with a good sense of humor and a knack of explaining what he was doing without making me feel like a complete idiot. The whole experience, once I called Martin Plumbing, was about as positive as anyone could hope to expect.

I had a horrible mess when my plumbing had backed up into my shower and bath tub. I have a home warranty, so I called my them first. They were unable to send someone out today so they authorized an out of contract service request. I just recently signed up for Angie's list, so I headed here immediately. Martin Plumbing was number one on the list, and believe me, now I know why. They had a lot of wonderful reviews, so I gave them a call. Rich answered the phone and was very kind. He said he would have someone out within the hour and told me they would give me a call when they were on their way. Sean called me not 20 minutes later, said he was in Modesto, and asked if it was a good time to head my way. He was here within fifteen minutes of that call. He looked in my bathroom and knew right away what the problem was. He gave me two price quotes, the lower of the two would be if he could access the problem through my cleanout. I told him where it was and off he went. When he encountered the cleanout, he found that a previous contractor had poured the concrete right up to the top, and that he would have to chip through the concrete to get to the cleanout. He must have seen the panicked look on my face, because he then told me it wasn't a problem. Then he told me he would have to charge me the higher of the two price quotes at which point I was very relieved that it wasn't going to cost more than that and told him that was fine. Once he was done chipping through the concrete he came to ask me if he could throw the old concrete in the trash. He was concerned my dogs would get in to it. How awesome is that? When he was done cleaning out the sewer line, he came in and checked the toilets to make sure they would flush properly and rinsed out the showers. He then headed out to his van to write up the invoice. When he came back in, he explained everything he had done and even told me what to use to sanitize the shower floor and the bathtub. He said their work is guaranteed so if I had any problems to give them a call. I am SO very happy with the service that I received! I have done a shout out to all of my friends on Facebook letting them know just how happy I am, and who to call if they have plumbing problems. If I ever have another plumbing situation arise that my warranty company can't handle, Martin Plumbing is at the top of my list to call. Thank you so very much!!

We had a plumbing emergency at our rental property in Manteca. Tim answered the phone after normal business hours and provided excellent customer service. We live in Modesto, and he beat us to the property which is 20 minutes from our home. He fixed the problem in short order in a very professional manner. We were impressed with his knowledge and will definitely use this plumber in the future should we have the need.

After nearly constant problems with our old toilet, I gave up and called Martin Plumbing to install a new one. The plumber was prompt and polite. Even more important, the toilet has been consistently working---end of story and end of plunging!
