Fine.

They were great! The name fits. Based on what we heard from other problems we thought he needed to snake the line. He told us he thought that would be a waste of money to do the snake and said he knew what the problem was. So he was really honest with us. He suggested we replace the pipe and if that wasn't it we would figure something else out. He did not charge me for coming out that day. He said it would cost a lot for him to dig up the old pipe and suggested we hire a handyman or gardener to dig it out and then call him when it was ready. That way it would be a lot faster and cheaper for him to complete the job. Once it was dug out he came within a day or 2 to replace the pipe. He did a really nice job. We took pictures to show my mom so she could see where the new pipe was and how it looked. Everything was great. He was very nice and prompt. He communicated with us through email which I loved. It was a really good experience. The price was higher than I originally expected but was fair considering the amount of work he did. He was prompt. He got to the job before me!

First visit apprentice did work, OK but new faucet leaked. Called Reggie, he came soon and just needed to tighten washer, which fixed it. Water purifier installation took about 3 hours, it works great so far 2 weeks later. 2nd snaking seems to have fixed partially clogged line, but it's only been 2 days. Reggie doesn't charge for travel time or a service call fee. He charges an additional $10 snaking fee.

Reggie took the call himself' and arranged to come the next morning (a Saturday), he called to coordinate his arrival and came on time. He was cheerful, straightforward and helpful throughout. He never sought to take any advantage, he explained what he was doing and gave simple understandable tips to avoid further trouble. And he spent about 3 hours all told. He said that if there is any problem with the unit or his work within 3 years he'll take care of it without charge. (I believe this promise is on the receipt Reggie provided as well -- but as with any such "guarantee" you have to trust the provider, and I do.)

They were effective and good. I had also felt that their price was decent, and the quality was fine.

I came home to find that my refridgerator was leaking (small lake) all over my hardwood floors. Reggie was there within 20 minutes--stopped the water leakage and it was 5:30 ish in the afternoon. He was so quick, professional and knowledgable that I had him back the next day to fix 2 other issues. His pricing is most fair and he works quickly.

Reggie descibed the options I had over the phone, including me purchasing the replacement unit or he supplying it with a three year guarantee. I chose to purchase the unit, and Reggie arrived to fit it.He discovered that the existing unit could be reset, and the blockage removed, which he did at no charge.

Awesome! The name of this business is very appropriate. Reggie IS completely reliable and very professional. He returns phone calls and shows up on time, at the scheduled time (difficult to find a good contractor who does this consistently). His work is exemplary. He gives accurate quotes, explains what he is doing before and after he does it, doesn't waste time and completes all work with perfection. AND his pricing is reasonable. I will definitely keep Reggie's Reliable Plumbing high on my list of contractors, and refer him to all of my friends. Call him, he's great!

I was very pleased. The first company I called could not come that day. Reggie was not able to come himself but he sent a co-worker the same day. This company offers a special discount coupon for members of angie's list which can be printed off the computer. He gladly honored the printout reducing the cost. He was tidy and very friendly (chatty). If you are not in the mood for conversation I suggest you don't sit and watch him work. I thought it was quite considerate that he not only made all the mess disappear but he didn't even leave it in my garbage can.

Reggie's was able to send someone out the very same day I called for an estimate, and we ended up having him do the job. He was efficient, very friendly and professional, up-front, honest and gave us a good deal considering we just paid someone to do it wrong. We will definitely keep these guys in mind for any future plumbing needs.

Reggie was just fabulous. He arrived early to start the work and showed me exactly what the problems were. His communication skills were excellent. He told me he would return to resnake one of the pipes with a larger tool. He did exactly that at no additional charge. This guys is fair, considerate and does EXCELLENT work! I've already recommended him to a neighbor who received wonderful service too!

Three bathroom faucets were not working well. I had put off looking for a plumber for some time because of bad experiences and the belief among my friends that an honest plumber is almost impossible to find. Then my garbage disposal failed. So I called Reggie, the plumber one of my neighbors was raving about. Now I’m raving too. Reggie was terrific! He arrived early, not just on time, and began with a description of how he works. If I don’t fix it, you don’t pay me. I’m building a business. I want people to call me again rather than make a quick profit. He charges $89/hour and saves money wherever he can. He replaced the disposal, explaining various things about it as he did. He tallied up the charge and knocked off a half hour because we had been gabbing. Reggie is personable and fun to talk with. I was happy with him and his work so I showed him the other things I had put off dealing with. The toilet didn’t need fixing. No charge for looking at it. The faucets could be fixed with new cartridges – a $25 fix instead of a whole new faucet - so I said go ahead. He put new cartridges in all three faucets, but they were dripping. He said they needed a tiny little part that would help the faucet close all the way, spent a couple of hours looking for them and then decided to buy them directly from the manufacturer to save costs. He also said I wouldn’t pay him until the job was done. Came back a few days later and installed the parts, but now there was a small stream of water instead of drips. Tried to take one of them apart to see what was wrong, but the cartridge had come apart inside the faucet and he couldn’t get it out. An hour or so later he told me he had to replace the faucet and that it would “be on him.” And that he didn’t think he could fix the other two either. I had replaced another identical bathroom faucet several years earlier (different plumber) because the replacement cartridge had failed to fix the problem so I knew this wasn’t Reggie’s fault. He also recommended that the water shut off handles under the sink be replaced because they had frozen and couldn’t be turned. I agreed. Reggie returned at the scheduled time with new faucets and parts and completed the several hour job. He did a good job, testing everything and cleaning up after himself. The new faucets are a huge improvement. Reggie tallied up the bill, didn’t charge me for one faucet , the cartridges, the parts that he had ordered, or any of the time he already had spent working on it. He knocked more time off the bill because we had again been gabbing. The whole job cost me hundreds less than it would have otherwise. To top it all off, he called several days later to see if everything is still working well. I now have a plumber that I feel really good about and am happy to recommend to my friends. To me, his business ethic is the old-fashioned one that I grew up with and don’t see much of anymore. I am truly delighted to have found Reggie.
