THE SPRINKLER TECH

Our gardener said he could check it out but he'd have to bring a bunch of guys and dig all over the yard. I decided to call a professional and could not have been happier with the work performed by Sprinkler Tech. Carlos came out, quickly identified where he thought the problem was and said he'd send someone out to fix it and send me an invoice after the work was completed. The price was very reasonable (and included the repair of other sprinkler heads). All in all, an excellent experience with zero complaints. Would definitely use again.

I called on Thursday May 3 for service and the operator advised that I would get a call from person servicing the area. Never got call. Called back the following Tuesday and operator just said he didnt call you. I will call him so he can call you for service. She found me on the call I had made to her on Thursday. Never got a call. Lack of Professionalism, no response from them whatsoever, leak continued during the waiting period and got help from someone else. Had picked them due to A+ rating and many reviews.

I first contacted them and Carlos came out late that Friday, but didn't have parts and said someone would come out the following Monday for repairs. Monday came and went, so I called them and they had two guys then come out on Tuesday. They attended to things pretty well, but another valve was bad so that needed to be replaced. That and some electrical matters flared up which hadn't been a problem, so that's a question mark. One of the workmen believe the timer needed to be replaced, but I replaced it only a year ago. I ended up dealing with what turned out to be a wiring issue myself and haven't had an issue since. (I didn't mind saving money by doing that work especially as I was skeptical about whether the timer was the problem.) Overall, the value was good. They did some spinkler head repairs, too, as figured out there wasn't a leak but a buried head. I was only slightly disappointed when arrival was either early or later than what I was originally told. I usually was informed in advance, but not when they arrived 15 minutes before the time window I was given, and I was still in my hot tub dealing with some muscle pain. Awkward, and this is part of why I felt punctuality was" fair." But I would probably try them out again. My experience is that spring is usually incredibly busy for folks who do this kind of work, so that might have had some negative impact.

Carlos had installed a drip irrigation system as a replacement for our regular sprinklers in the front yard last year. He also repaired the pop-up sprinklers we had in the back yard. He was easy to schedule with and the work is standing up very well.

Quick response, next-day repair

There were 3 broken sprinklers in my backyard. Robert came out and fixed them all in no time, plus repaired an outdoor spicket that had broken for no extra charge, as well as adjusted the settings on my sprinkler syster. He was very friendly and knowledgable, and the work was done right at a fair price. Would definitely recommend.

Carlos did a great Job. Explained the problems suggested reasonable fixes. Even came out the next day for some warranty work.

Robert inspected our problem and submitted an estimate. We received several other bids, but his was the most reasonable for the work to be done. One bid was almost double, and another was adding features not needed. The crew arrived on the day and time promised and completed the work. Robert came at the end and inspected the job and made some adjustments. Like I said, we are very pleased with the result.

Work went ok, but technician was late. Called to say when he would arrive and arrived an hour + late. Inconvenient since I took off of work to meet him.

He came and fixed the system in less than an hour. Very efficient and professional.

2nd time out on Angies List - Carlos was GREAT! Called last Thursday set appointment for Monday 2-4 Showed up at 3:30 - found the problem with the sprinkler system Replaced the valve immediately - was in and out in less than 1 Hour!! Not expensive - personable - informative and RELIABLE!! Will recommend to friend and USE AGAIN!!!!! Jim

The job was completed in one day. Although a 2-man crew was sent, the owner came later and worked also. He got his hands dirty, too; he wasn't just a supervisor. What I particularly appreciated about Carlos was that he provided estimates for both repair or replacement. Unlike some who would say "Oh, you need a whole new system," Carlos was honest and said the system could be repaired and gave me that option. I would both use Sprinkler Tech again and refer him to others.

Carlos really understands water sprinkler systems and does excellent troubleshooting. I was so very pleased with his work and will definitely call again with any future sprinkler system problems.

Carlos arrived with two helpers, on time and completed all work in one hour. Carlos knows sprinklers and sprinkler systems and had a very good and inexpensive suggestion to correct a minor deficiency in our system.

The job itself went well. They did a great job and now things are working fine. Robert was extremely nice and easy to work with. The only thing about working with these guys is that I felt like I was always chasing them. They weren't the most responsive at returning calls.

Carlos and his team at The Sprinker Tech were consummate professionals. Carlos came to survey the job the same day I called to inquire. He looked at the two task area (leaking sprinkler pipes front and back yards) and explained what needed to be done. He did not try to sell me anything I didn't need -- just told me what was necessary to fix the problem. On the day the repairs were to take place, Carlos and his team showed up about 10 minutes early, took another look at the task areas and quickly planned out their approach. Then they got right to work. They moved quickly and efficiently, exposing the problem pipes, cutting out the damage, and replacing with new plastic piping. They then replaced the dirt they had had to move so expertly that I couldn't tell that it had been disturbed. The problems was fixed, both front and back yards, in about two hours. They cleaned up and left me with working sprinklers again. I heartily recommend Carlos and his team at The Sprinkler Tech.

We first contacted Carlos on May 14th, with an email and a phone call, asking for service at our Pasadena home as soon as possible as our sprinkler system was broken in the back yard. 4 days it took him to get back to me and tell me he would come the following week. I asked him to come the week of June 1st, and never heard back. On June 6th I realized he wasn't going to call me so I had to call him, and he said he would send someone the next day. We were hopeful - his new associate who is doing Pasadena homes came and seemed very understanding our situation. Until we received our quote! Over THREE TIMES the price of other quotes had received, it was unbelievable! We had received quotes from $400-800 but theirs was $1,400!! We asked them to explain why it was so expensive and what they do to justify a higher price, hoping that perhaps we could find a lower rate. No response. We are still waiting and hoping we can change our rating on Angie's List.

Very well. If we were to have additional sprinkler or irrigation issues, I would immediately call this business.

Called them on Monday, made an appointment for Tuesday between 12-2pm. They call me on Tuesday at 12pm and told me we live too far from them and they can not service us. I gave them my address the day before, so they should have checked where I lived and decide if we were too far or not. I arranged my girlfriend to be home for that time slot.. Wasted my time and my girlfriend's time. It is not cool at all, cause I could have asked someone else to come ouy on Tuesday... Not professional at all.

It went well. See my description above. We were satisfied with everything about the whole process. Carlos knows what he is doing, and stands by his work.

Called in the morning.They came that afternoon. It's an old ( 20+ year?) manual brass valve that overflowed when i turned it on. Carlos & assistant came on time. It took both of them to leverage the fitting to get it off. He had a replacement part in his truck. All fixed in less than half an hour.

Had a great experience with Carlos. I bought my house about 2 months ago and the sprinkler system never worked correctly. Parts of the lawn were not getting enough water, in other areas the values weren't working properly, there were issues with water pressure and some of the sprinkler heads were clogged with dirt. Carlos came on a Monday and reviewed the situation and gave me a quote to fix everything that seemed very reasonable. He came back 2 days later and fixed all the problems. Now the sprinklers work like they are supposed to - everything is getting the proper amount of water and my garden is very happy! Thanks, Carlos.

I called Carlos and he came out that same day, checked out the problem we were having with 2 leaky valves and scheduled the repair for 2 days later. We've had this problem for years, and had 3 other gardeners attempt to fix it, but the leaks always came back. Carlos was great and HE FIXED IT, as well as an issue with our main shut off he found while doing the repair. He also gave us some ideas for improving our system when I explained some of the issues we were having with dry patches in the grass. If you have any issues with your system definitely give Carlos a call. When we upgrade our entire irrigation system he's definitely the one we will use.

Carlos stopped by to check out our front yard zone since it was not working. He diagnosed and fixed the problem in about 15 minutes.
