Description of Work: Let me start off by saying remodeling in general is stressful and has ups and downs regardless. I just completed my kitchen remodel it came out beautiful. Moren was the project manager I worked with. She has excellent customer service skills. He made the whole process bearable. I consider myself kinda picky but Moren ensured all my needs were met and my finished product made me happy. There whole staff was great and very professional. I would definitely recommend them. Thanks MOREN for making my kitchen fabulous!!!

Description of Work: Since April 3rd they have had my lock it is the last part to this project. It's been over a month. I have called the company and complained. + 0 moreBe sure your husband/wife is there for the estimate or these people won’t even show up. Are you serious? Yes, they are serious… and will essentially tell you to F* off and find another company if you both can’t be there for the estimate (“I suggest you find a company that doesn’t have out policies”). This is a clear indication that these people are masters of negotiation. They know that if you are both there then you can’t pull the “Higher Authority” negotiation card, and that they are far more likely to close a deal with you on the spot. It is not worth their time otherwise. If you enjoy working with people who know how to play hapless homeowners like fiddles, then you will enjoy working with this company.

+ -1 moreA young man came to our door soliciting work for the company The House Next Door. I told him I needed my bathroom remodeled. He took down my information and we set up a date and time for an estimater to come by; which was Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. I received a message the next morning from the company saying they would see me then. Wednesday, Alan called to say he would be there and asked if my husband would be there.....they're just now telling me this! Anyway, I told him that he would not be there. Alan said they have to meet with my husband as well and could we reschedule. I said I would get back to him. Feeling a tad bit p***** off that they weren't coming today I called Alan back and said and quot;The other day a man knocked on my doorand quot;. (Of course referring to their solicitor). Before I could finish my sentence Alan said and quot;Reallyand quot;? And then laughed. I guess Alan thought it was funny! I found it to be condensending and disrespectful!!!

I was told the reason for this was superior material and they offered 30 years warranty. The sales person was very pushy but very nice. All and all I'm happen with the experience. The schedule was on time and all appointments was ware timely .

+ 0 moreFrom the first young man who came to my house to tell me about the services that "The House Next Door" provided to the salesman Shay who was very approachable and knowledgeable to the crew who actually did the roof replacement I can't say thank you enough. My roof was replaced just two days later as promised and looks beautiful. I live in a very windy neighborhood and to not see my shingles blowing off is a wonderful feeling. The rain gutters were installed two days later and now I can't hardly wait for a torrential downpour!

I will use them again and recommend my friends about the house next door to improve their home in any shape way or form. I love my brand new bathroom and kitchen floor. The material and workmanship was high quality , highly recommended .
Description of Work: Demolish the floors in master bathroom, installed 18" tile, kitchen, dining room and laundry room and installed 12" travertine tile in the master bathroom and replace shower door to a frameless glass and replace sliding door in the den area and 2 windows.

Description of Work: Had downstairs flooring ( laminate) wood installed. The flooring crew removed the original rug and dispose. As well, tile from kitchen was also removed and disposed off. Cannot express how fast an professional crew was.

Description of Work: STAY AWAY. The House Next Door appears at your door as a cold call and use VERY pushy sales tactics. They ask if you have any projects you want to get done with your house (and who doesn't) and then they pounce. The set up an appointment to have their sales contractor come that day, and they're punctual. They're very nice and personable, but then they push and push and push to get you to sign a contract right there and then to get the job done, and they want to get started immediately before you have time to get other quotes (and they also don't like to give their own quote upfront, nor do they bring samples, etc). Luckily, we pushed hard right back and said we would need more time to consider. It's a good thing we did. We did some research online and found that when people turn them down, they call you a few days later as AAA Remodeling & Construction, but then it's another sales guy who acts as if you talked (they use your first name and act as if you have a history, though you have no idea who they are), agreed to a start date, and the guy wants to know when he can come over with his crew. When you say they're the same company as The House Next Door, they deny it, but they lie to your face and have all your information. We're not the only one who went through this.
