AAA Solar Construction came and replaced my kitchen. Everything about this transaction went smoothly. Eric showed up when he promised, the work was done when he promised, the place was spotless clean when he was done,

we had a three day cancelation on the contract. I needed a couple of things add to the contract which the contractor assured me by e-mail he would do. We set up to times for this to be done and he was a no show, so I called to let him know if he did not make it the third time I would have to cancel the contract. To this he got very upset with me and then informed me that we were just a little job and he did not care about this job. My contract price was $8800. That is not small to me. Be aware that if you have a contract price under this amount the company does not care about your business.

Igor did an amazing job on our bedroom/bathroom paint!!! We couldn't be happier!!!! We had a family friend work on the job originally originally and to be honest, it was left a mess. It was so bad. we want all of our walls re-done by Igor's crew!! He was also very professional, fast, honest & friendly. We would not hesitate to hire him again!

The project started as a flooring job and turned into a complete remodel due to a black mold issue between first and second floo. Matthew and Oz helped me every step of the way with design and structual information. The job is beautiful and the contractors were very helpful all the way through the extensive remodel.

They called to come at a different time twice, even though we said we were not available. When the appointment happened--he failed to listen--kept asking the same questions over--cut us off. When I asked him to move on to do the estimate he got annoyed--wanted to come back another time. he said" you have to let me do things my way" We kicked him out. the overall feel was a sleazy sales job. He wanted to stay on his agenda rather than listen to the needs of the customer. pushed to have us finance after we repeatedly said no--pushed to have the job soon when we said we did not want to do the job now. I would never use this company

Hired the House next door for a roof replacement/closet repair job January 14th 2016. We had a leak in one of our bedrooms and since more rain was scheduled, we were looking to get the job done as quickly as possible. We were hopeful that the job was going to be completed in a timely manner as promised by the Production Manager but slowly we began to be disappointed. January 16th contractors show up to begin work in the closet, but nothing can be done on the roof due to the permit inspection understandable, so we wait. Monday January 18th permit & roof inspection appointment is scheduled. The Permit Inspector shows up & the roof is not ready for inspection. No one from the House next door showed up to work on our roof/closet or be present for the inspection. Inspection has to be rescheduled and nothing can be done on the roof until the following week. Throughout the process our point of contact, was difficult to get a hold of and would not keep us updated with last minute schedule changes. This affected our work schedule since we had to coordinate to have someone home for the work to get done. We hired this company expecting professional, competent and honest service. The contractors showed up and left whenever they wanted. Workers cut our internet cable left us without internet and provided no warning in regards to the damage done. After two weeks of dealing with this company work was finally completed January 29th but not without the Production Manager adding an additional disposal charge to the price that we agreed to on the contract. No mention of this charge until the end is completely unethical, this is not a good way to conduct business. Needless to say I am not interested in hiring them for any future home projects.

To start, I was skeptical about doing business because being a young woman on my own I did not want to be overcharged and taken advantage of. I was diligent when it came to finding the right company to remodel my kitchen. I saw great reviews for The House Next Door Construction and am now proud to say that I can contribute to those reviews. First of all, the price that I paid for their service was just within my budget. Second, I knew nothing about the process of remodeling a kitchen as far as things like picking out appliances countertops backsplash etc. But HND had basically held my hand step by step and brought my vision to life. I could not be more satisfied with the outcome!

Used this service in the past and decided to write a review this time around. I needed a few lighting fixtures repaired and fixing my driveway on this go around. The job took a very short period of time and I got a great price thanks to Matthew and his professional staff.

These guys were great. Really worked with us in regards to pricing and scheduling. They finished painting my living room and kitchen in a matter of hours. Impeccable work. They made sure to cover all my furniture and even helped me move some of it. I highly recommend them and will keep them in mind for future paint jobs.

They postponed the demo one day, but that was not a problem. The work was performed quickly and professionally. I would not hesitate to use them again.

They're terrible. They're awful. They did a big job, but they tried every which way, along the way, to get more money out of me than originally contracted for. It eventually turned out to be a nice room. But it was a struggle all the way. I would not recommend them ever to anyone. They should not cheat people. They should be honest.

The House Next Door installed close to 4000 square feet of pavers in my backyard late last year along with couple benches and a fire pit and additional work that needed to be repaired at my home. The end result is exactly what I expected. Mathew walked me through the entire project end-to-end, providing input on design ideas and complete cost breakdown. His crew arrived on the scheduled date and within a week the pavers were laid, yard cleaned up, completely transforming it into a functional and great looking outdoor living space. The final piece was installing the sealant and went with the wet look sealer. I was extremely impressed on the level of detail and care that was spent in prepping the pavers for the sealant. I felt like Mathew treated this job as if he was doing the work at his own property! Once the pavers were prepped he applied the sealer and once again the level of detail wasn't missed and as of today I have a wide smile when I go in the back and look at the finished job. Family and friends are impressed along with all the neighbors who came by to see what all the construction was about. Needless to say I recommend The House Next Door, quality work and busted the job out quickly!!

It went great once Mr. David Kaufman got involved. Thank God for David! In the beginning it was hard to get anyone to respond. We would like to THANK David Kaufman! You were true to your word. You stayed the course! We can't express how truly grateful we are for your undying support and dedication. You looked out for us! They should count their lucky stars that they have you. I called to make an appointment for an estimate of a shower remodel, and Rick asked my name, and then asked my marital status. He had not asked a single question about the work I waned done. I pointed out that my marital status had nothing to do with my need for a shower remodel. He said it was important for all family members to be available. I was insulted, advised him of such, and hung up.

Amazing customer service!they get the job done on time and without any delays. I got my Kitchen redone for a fair price and in timely matter.

The House Next Door is the best!! I had a really unsafe and ugly back deck, and the first two contractors I spoke with quoted way too much money and didn't seem to know how to fix the problems. Ron, on the other hand figured out a great solution to make it safe and look like new, problems solved along the way, kept me informed, and kept to his very reasonable quoted price. I felt like he treated the project like his own home instead of rushing through it like many contractors do - he made sure every detail was right. He's also the utmost professional and a pleasure to work with. I will definitely call back The House Next Door for any future home project.

The House Next Door lives up to their name. The foundation of my home was a disaster. Due to termite damage and years or negligence from precious owners, I had to do major foundation and building repairs to my home. I had 3 previous quotes from other companies but they either never gave me a straight forward answer to my questions or the price was extremely high for what they were going to do. As soon as Eyal came by to give me an estimate, I knew right away that they were exactly what I was looking for. He also sent his awesome business partner Matthew to discuss the roofing repairs that would be eventually needed. They gave me the best price imaginable and always kept me informed on any changes and what was best for my home to be structurally sound. I highly would recommend The House Next Door to anyone. They are very honest and knowledgeable and it shows that they take great pride in what they do. I couldn't have asked for a better company and group of people.

My wife and I thought that renovating our kitchen would be a nightmare but Mike and his crew made our dream come true. When we first met Mike we appreciated the time he took to explain what we could expect during the renovation. His workers were skilled in their crafts and were a pleasure to deal with. We're very happy with the finished result and have already recommended The House Next Door to others. We would definitely call them again for any future home improvements.

This company was a real pleasure to work with. I had many projects I wanted to complete before my family moved in. Isaac gave me a detailed breakdown of what each project would cost. When changes came up, he helped me through things and gave me great advice. His team took great care of my house, and the work impressed my neighbors, all for a reasonable price. The work they did: - Scraped popcorn ceilings - Installed french doors for patio - Closed in sliding glass door, put in picture window and built in bench seats - Demo'ed old kitchen, and re-leveled floors and walls, then installed Ikea cabinets. - Framed out and installed doors Noteworthy because all this work was completed in a month.

My husband and I were incredibly fearful when we decided to hire a contractor for our remodel. We worried we'd be screwed over and left with a home in shambles. We interviewed five or so companies for our complete home renovation. If they weren't expensive, they were unlicensed or sketchy. Ron, the contractor behind The House Next Door, provides great service and fair prices. We are about half-way thru our complete home renovation and Ron has been nothing but honest with us about the progress of the job. Our home was built in the 1940's so some repairs presented themselves once the job commenced but Ron took his time to be thorough with an explanation as to the cost and need for the repair or "change order". He's very flexible with our budget and allows us to be involved in the project.

The House Next Door replaced our windows and did an excellent job! They were punctual, the employees were all very professional, and the job was completed when they said it would be. The stucco around the windows needed to be done and the color matches perfectly. We would definitely recommend The House Next Door with confidence.

After much research online, on member forums & with ensuing positive feedback, we decided to give The House Next Door a chance to work on a project for our home. The office staff deserves special mention at this point too as they are the first impression of the company and the ladies there have been a delight to talk to each time...Thorough, professional and extremely on task seems to be the mantra of this company personnel. The sales man came out on the day we had scheduled with his staff. All gentlemen went over the project approvals in detail, made notes, went over all the salient points of the project and reassured me -once again that the project will begin and finish in a set time frame. The work was immediate, very neat, clean and orderly. The entire team was courteous and respectful of the space outside the home, the neighbors and the noise levels. The back and side yard looked fresh & phenomenal when done and finished with a sealer. HND was in constant communication with me each step of this process, there when I checked in on the work progress and right there to address any on going concern. The sales manager and his workers were in touch with each other right through so it is great example of the Right hand knowing what the Left Hand was doing each time! Everything went great. From the first time I met a gal who was extremely friendly, patient and provided a ton of information. I was originally contacted by a young man going door to door. I don't usually do business like this, but I thought I would give them a chance to show me what they got. After meeting with them and a couple other companies we decided to go with HND and we are glad we did. We completely remodeled 2 bathrooms, my master and the downstairs guest. The project included new tile, new vanities, new toilets, new tub with jets in master and fixtures in guest shower. Other miscellaneous work was performed in both bathrooms.

Joe and his crew were professional and the job was done as expected. The house was left clean and looking like it was always that way. Joe was easy to reach, returned my calls and did what he said he would do. I'm very pleased with the level of work and how it was handled. Financing was made available to make it easier for me to pay in a longer period of time without interest.

We recently completed an extensive renovation of our home by a previous contractor and were looking for another contractor to pour a new porch, slab, driveway and parking approach. Minimal concrete demolition was required prior to setting up the forms and completing the work, because 95% of the existing concrete had already been removed by the builder. We were contacted by this company and set up an appointment to obtain a quote. The sales representative arrived on time, reviewed the work and the quote came in at $25,000. We could not afford that cost, so the sales rep went through various on-site adjustments and phone calls to the owner, and brought the cost down to around $20,250. That was more to our liking, so after being offered various options of payment, we elected to finance the amount, and signed their home improvement contract. At the time we had signed the contract, the sales rep had been there 4 1/2 plus hours, and the sales pitch was high pressure, advising that they were licensed, in business for 34 years, their reputation was untarnished. The following day both the sales rep and their concrete person arrived to do a job site review to plan out the job. During that visit, I asked further questions that related to the driveway approach, and discovered that the approach had not been included within the price of the contract! I informed the sales rep that unless the approach was included within the price of the contract we would cancel. After discussing this problem with his boss, I was informed that both the sales rep and his boss would be coming over for further review. I again told the sales rep that if the cost of the approach exceeded the contract price, they were just wasting their time because we would not do it. Although the meeting was scheduled, no one showed up. This clearly indicated to us that the company would not do the complete job we wanted for the contract price. Later that same day though, I got a text message from the sales rep telling me that they would be coming over early the following day to start the job! By that time, we had already opted to cancel their contract under the 3 day rule. Their prices are extremely high, in-home meetings are high pressured and their paperwork techniques are deceptive. The sales rep handed me the paperwork, told me what it was and pointed to where I was to sign. I don't sign anything unless I read it! One of the papers they wanted me to sign was to substantiate that the work we needed to be done constituted an emergency and if I would have signed, would have waived my 3 day right to cancel! The specific requirements of the job were not adequately noted in the addendum to the contract. However, they did make sure to state in the contract, and the contract addendum many times, that "what was not written was not included!" Oh, they also kept all paperwork relating to the 3 day cancellation.
