Carlos and his team were superb! We really hit the jack pot with him!! He was very responsive when we reached out to schedule the initial consultation. He came out immediately to a**** the work and provided us with an extremely fair quote. Once the project began Carlos and his team found a few set backs from the previous construction. Instead of telling us what we needed to do in order for them to proceed with the tile installation he coordinated it all without hesitation! We didn't have to worry about a thing as Carlos handled everything and stayed within budget! His ingenuity and problem solving skills are exemplary. He went above and beyond what we initially agreed upon and did it all with a smile on his face! I don't know what we would have done without him! Carlos takes pride in his work and it shows! He was very knowledgable, patient and charismatic. Carlos will definitely be a part of all our future home renovation needs, 100%! O yeah and the guest bathroom IS GORGEOUS! Thank you Carlos!!

We contacted Carlos at C-Bek due to reviews on Angie's List, and if we could give Carlos and the crew at C-Bek 10 stars and pages of happiness we would! Carlos is one of the most professional and conscientious business person we know. He came in to review the space for the tile, quoted an extremely reasonable price for the removal and install, but also suggested a membrane to make removal easier, if ever needed. He patiently explained the process, and did everything he committed to in his proposal. The crew was on time, if not thankfully a little early in anticipation of my having to leave the house. They went out of their way to protect our light colored carpet, incredibly respectful of the "bootie" request in other parts of the house, and when the job was completed on time - 2 days - wow, they cleaned the floor like I would clean the floor. The floor was immaculate, the surrounding area immaculate. To say we were impressed is an understatement!! His son was even beyond understanding when I requested that he replace a few of the tiles that were too dark, completely my fault as I should have caught it earlier. The level of professionalism and courtesy given is so impressive, and just not seen in companies. We are so appreciative of Carlos and his staff for creating such beautifully tiled floors in our home. Our only disappointment is that the company is in such demand, we will have to wait a while for him to do another spot in our home. The good news is Carlos and the crew at C-Bek are worth the wait -- they are phenomenal!

Owner was professional. He had a crew that helped him complete the job in a few days. When they finished the job, I noticed the grout dried with holes in many places. He responded immediately and sent a crew member to reapply grout. I'm very satisfied with the work. Family owned business.

Carlos met us at their location and helped us from beginning to end, we purchased the products that we liked and Carlos agreed would look great after him seeing our place and taking measurements. Patricia was also very helpful when i had progress payment questions. Our floors look amazing. They did exactly what we had agreed on, in the time they said they would do it. Everybody was a pleasure to work with. My wife and i really appreciate Carlos's profesionalism and integrity We give them five stars!!

Carlos and his crew showed up on time-- very friendly--They did a great job. We got three estimates- Carlos was among the lowest--What I liked is that I showed him a marble sample and he got us a great price from his family's tile store- measured our area and brought all the materials- did a nice job with installation. We have recommended him to our friends. He is now officially our tile guy!

We were in a bind because we hired a handyman to remodel our bathroom and it turned into a disaster. Carlos and his crew saved us! He came out right away to assess the situation and was able to start work the following week. He re-tiled our shower and tiled our floor, provided names of additional subs to help us with plumbing, carpentry and drywall. He was a tremendous help without him we may still be working on this bathroom!! Thanks Carlos!

He also installed tile in three bathrooms and the hallway, his quality of work and tiles were second to none. He handled the project in a very professional manner, kept me informed of the progress and finished in a timely manner.

Carlos was extremely professional and responsive through the entire process. We had been in touch with two other contractors prior to calling C-Bek. The others were less expensive, but were not very responsive and frankly, did not instill much confidence. Carlos seemed to have a good grasp of the project from the start. He started within 2 weeks, finished the work in 4 days and gave me a discount on the price. He also did little extras like install all of the switchplates and the shelf over the stove for me. The tile work looks absolutely beauitful. Great job Carlos and team.

If you're looking for a stone and tile guy, you can stop right here. This guy is the real deal. I've dealt with plenty of contractors in my time, but few were as accommodating, smart, and professional as Carlos Martinez. I was independently buying the granite and he was only doing the installation for me, but was so helpful that he actually looked for samples for me, so that I could see them in my house. He and his people are very skilled and extremely responsive. The final result is absolutely stunning and I couldn't be happier.

Carlos at C-Bek bailed us out of a botched backsplash job. He is a true pro and does clean, precise work. After going the "discount / friend-of-a-friend route", we re-learned a very valuable lesson: If you think hiring a professional is expensive, try hiring an amateur. We are very grateful that we found C-Bek tile and got our kitchen remodel back on track.

This review is long overdue. Carlos and his crew did such an amazing job that I still had to write the review. Carlos was honest, communicative, fair, responsible and takes great pride in his work. Without my knowledge I had chosen a tile that was insanely difficult to lay (this was confirmed by several tile guys). Carlos installed the tile and was not happy with the way it looked as it was not up to his standards. He then helped me pick out another similar tile that gives better results and did not charge me to redo the entire wall (In is a HUGE bathroom). His crew also retiled another bathroom I had. I can't get over the pride in his work, his patience and his craftsman ship. He did not need to retile the bathroom at his cost as it was my fault that I did not research the original tile more. I had chosen it before I hired him. I could not recommend Carlos more highly, he and his wife (who helped with the new tile) are amazingly patient, professional, thoughtful, skilled and a joy to work with. I would not hesitate for a second to hire them again.

The entire experience was excellent! Carlos, the owner is very professional, as is his crew. Carlos provided us with a thorough Estimate and referred us to his family tile store, Silver Stone located in North Hollywood, to help us determine the type and style of tile we wanted. Patricia at Silver Stone was excellent too! Although the store was very busy, she took the time with us to show us several options from their huge selection of tile and was very, very helpful! As for the installation, they carefully removed and replaced all the tile in three rooms within only one week. Carlos also provided us with outstanding detail recommendations during the installation process to accentuate and complement our tile selection, architecture and design of our rooms. His crew showed up on time each and every day. Carlos and his highly skilled team did an absolutely excellent job! They by far surpassed our expectations! We were initially a little leery of spending $9,000 on tile, however, what we have now looks like a million! Thank you Carlos and C-Bek crew!

Price was great, quality of the work was superb...they were very clean, considering this was the entrance to our house there was little dirt or dust to track in/out. Great job!

Showed up 2 1/2 hours late. Looked at the area, made some notes, took my email, and said he would have an estimate in a few days. Never heard anything back from this company.

From the beginning Carlos was very professional. They removed the old tile and installed the new one quickly. It took 3 days. I will definitely recommend them.

Create new shower pan and hot mop with sealer. Install new plumbing in shower. Install wire backing and float walls and floor. Install tile and grout. Remove toilet and bathroom floor. Replace with new ceramic tile. Install new toilet and sink faucet. All work was completed professionally and on time

Every person from this company who came to work at my house was professional, punctual, friendly, and highly skilled. I trusted them completely, both their integrity and their competence. Once the job began, they worked relentlessly until it was complete. They went well beyond the call of duty by suggesting some changes to my design which were more practical and, frankly, just better. In order to implement the changes, they drove all over town to pick up and cut/assemble/finish different pieces of stone according to the needed measurements--all quickly so that it wouldn't delay the project. I was extremely impressed. Also notable were their knowledge of and experience with different stones--and how to work with each one (yes, the basalt I chose can be very problematic unless sealed thoroughly before installation, etc.). All in all, I couldn't be happier with the work they did and the way they went about it. If I ever remodel another bathroom, C-Bek will be the first company I contact.

I decided to use him because he's on Angie's List. He was fine. He was very courteous. He was late, but he was kind enough to call me to let me know he'd be late, which was okay. I talked to him right away, so he was responsive.

We hired C-bek to install a tile countertop for our outdoor BBQ Island. Carlos was professional and prompt in his scheduling. They finished the job quickly and it looks really good. I would highly recommend them.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. They are terrific. They are excellent professionals. They were on time and completed the work in a reasonable amount of time. The craftsmanship was excellent. They are all wonderful and polite people. I could not have asked for more from an installer. I will certainly be using them for all of my tile projects in the future.

The job was great. Carlos is amazingly easy to work with and when we told them we were in a time crunch, they completed a complicated job really quickly. Be forewarned, most tile guys cant do big jobs. The likely do one bathroom at a time meaning the job will take as many weeks as you have bathrooms. Carlos brought in a huge crew and completed our job very quickly.

Carlos was responsive, on time and did a great job. I was having a hard time finding anyone to cut a larger space in my granite counter so I could install a new sink. Everyone was quoting me outrageous prices for what really turned into 30 minutes of work. Carlos charged me a fair price and was super helpful in working with my handyman to make sure the end result was exactly what I needed
