Just all bad. He insisted on cash payments and if a check To his personal name. He doesn’t want checks going to his company he said

I cannot recommend C-Bek and Carlos Sr. & Carlos Jr. enough. They did a beautiful job with our bathroom floor tile installation, which was about 35 sq. ft. Not a big job, but they truly treated us like it was just as important to them to deliver top-notch work, as it would be if it were a large and expensive installation. They were punctual, professional, and finished the job in 1 1/2 days. They asked us questions about grout and how exactly we wanted the tiles arranged. They responded to my texts promptly, and they are 'can do' professionals. I would definitely call them again for future tile work.

Carlos did an excellent job on my fireplace! He was responsive for an estimate, flexible for my schedule and made my project effortless! I visited his stone and tile store and Patricia was very helpful in the selection of stone. The installers were prompt every day and cleaned up each day prior to leaving. These guys were courteous and thoughtful of my home. It was amazing to watch how precise and detailed they were in cutting and installing the stone! True craftsman! I am getting so many compliments and I’m a happy person with the finished fireplace! I plan to use C-BEK for floor installation.

It went great! Carlos and his crew are the ultimate professionals. Our job completed quickly, without the usual contractor delays. The crew is impeccable in their workmanship. At every step they consulted with us to make sure that we were satisfied with the layout. Carlos also has a tile/stone store in the valley. His wife worked with us to find the colors and look we desired at a discounted price. The end of each day they cleaned up the space and left it spotless, including protecting our wood floors throughout the house. Carlos even recommended or brought in subcontractors, like the plumber and shower door people that are equally as prompt and cost effective. Our job was completed in 6 days. Overall, we are very satisfied with the value, cost and result of this remodel. I look forward to our next job with Carlos!

After having a toxic mold test done to make sure it was safe to move forward, I called Carlos, and his son came out to take a look the same day. After sending me pictures of several suggested tile styles, I chose one and they were able to come out the very next day. In and out in 3.5 hours. I'm very happy with the work, the price (both materials and labor) and the timeline. I'd gladly hire these guys again in the future.

We have a fireplace in our living room that I wanted to retile with cement tile and I’m happy I picked Carlos and his team to do it. He was able to come out fairly quickly to give an estimate, and then was honest that he wouldn’t have time to do our project for a couple of weeks. I rather have someone tell me what their schedule really is than tell me they can do something at a certain date and then have to cancel or reschedule. When the time came he and his team came over and got the job done in two days. His son and his workers were clean, professional, and on time and Carlos came both days to check in on the work and progresss. We love the finished product and would hire Carlos again for other tiling projects. Cement tile can be tricky to work with and they did a great job. Thank you!

Carlos and his team were amazing! They were prompt, courteous, professional and did a fabulous job with all the tile work on the floor, shower walls, and wainscoting. They also supplied and fabricated the countertop. They completed all demo, tile work and sink and countertop installation in less than two weeks. They cleaned up each day and almost made it look like they hadn't even been there. I am very particular about who I hire to work on my house and I couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend C-Bek and will definitely use their services again!

Excellent work. Well priced, efficient, and very responsive to our needs. Our job wasn't big, but would trust him to do much more. Carlos and his entire team were incredibly skilled, professional, and easy to deal with. Carlos impressed me from the beginning as someone who paid attention to every detail and wanted my bathroom to look as good as I did -- if anything, he was pickier than I was! He went out of his way to make sure every edge was finished properly, hand cutting my wainscoting so it fit perfectly, even making sure I selected the best quality drain for my shower. Every person who he hired to work on the job from the drywall guy to the plumber gave me a quote before starting the job that they honored, and each of them did a thorough and professional job, double checking to make sure everything was done properly and never cutting corners. Also, Carlos never added a surcharge to their fees, which I knew since I paid them directly, which I'm sure many contractors would have. He went out of his way to be very fair in his pricing. Since I could not be there during the day I gave him my keys so he and his co-workers could come and go as needed, and they were very respectful of my home and did their best to keep a neat work area. It can be unsettling to have a lot of strangers coming and going in your house, but I felt very comfortable with Carlos and his entire crew and trusted them completely. If I redo my second bathroom I will absolutely hire Carlos to do it. If you do tiling work with him be sure and get the tile from his beautiful store in North Hollywood. He's got a great selection and it makes it a lot more convenient since he can pick it up for you and get additional tile at the last minute if there is an unexpected hiccup. Thanks so much, Carlos!
