John is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of furnace replacement. He told us what to expect every step and what to do after installation regarding registration and inspections. Inspector commented that John’s work always meets and exceeds requirements. Highly recommend him!

Had great attention to detail things were done right. I was replacing the original heater in 60 + year old home. Up grades to meet current requirements made for some challenges. John and his crew cleared these hurdles like true athletes. Thanks John job well done.

John went out of his way to help me have heat again during this horrible storm. He called me after I had visited "Home Advisor". I had used a couple other services on my furnace which is very old. One company charged me $100 just to walk in my door. He was here five minutes and tightened down 1 wire that was loose. I am living on a very small income and $100 is like $1000 to anyone else. John made a trip from Nipomo to SLO the first time after diagnosing the problem over the phone when I had explained the problem. He found he was right and left to order the part promising he would be back tje next day. He called the next morning (the worst day of the storm (2/17/17). He had let all his crews off for the day but he showed up on time and spent over an hour here fixing my furnace. When done I had HEAT again. I was so happy. He charged me much less than I would have expected for two trips from Nipompo to SLO, plus ordering and picking up my part and working on my furnace during the worst storm we have had in years. My mobilehome was rocking and rolling, limbs from trees blowing all over, windows being blown out on an old barn beside me. I was so impressed by his service. I expected a call that he would be out as soon as the storm let up. Not only did he keep his appointments but he went out of his way to give me heat again. I will be using his company for anything else that goes wrong around here. I was so impressed with his over the phone diagnosis, his prompt service, and coming out to fix my furnace to make sure I had heat. If there was a six star rating I would have given it to him. And of the companies I have used before his ending price was a blessing. I know he should have charged me much more. Thank you John. Jackie P.

John and his young men did a good job installing the A/C and heating unit in our home. We are very pleased with the job. We are in our 70"s and very skeptical of out side contractors . I must say John and his crew were very professional and a job well done.

John Dittenhoefer and his crew installed a new heater/central AC system including new duct work and some additional interior carpentry. All work was done quickly and properly and the county building inspector commented on how well everything looked. I would highly recommend John Dittenhoefer for both HVAC work and general contracting services.

John was prompt. The area was cleaned up each night. Work was excellent and price was good. Building inspector said the job was good and everything was done the way it should be done.
