It's beautiful! They did a good job. It was very easy to schedule with them.

I selected System Pavers after talking to various hardscape yard designers. Joshua Cox visited our house and spent lots of time going over their services, showing us pictures of other jobs, giving us options to choose from and not pressuring us to make a decision at all. He came back numerous times before we finally made our decision and, best of all, there were no charges for change orders. I had spoken to other companies, some better than others, but had a problem with the ?quote on a napkin? approach most of them took. While System Pavers was more expensive, probably the most expensive, of the companies I talked to I had to go back to the old saying: ?You get what you pay for?. Having done several contracted home improvement projects I?ve discovered that there can be a great deal of variance in the quality of both the products and workmanship the companies use. It?s much like buying a car, you can say you?re going to buy a car, but there are Mercedes and there are Chevy?s (not to say disparaging things about either). Over time you?ll forget how much you paid for a project, but if you have to look everyday at lousy workmanship or products you never forget. So we got our quote and contract(s) and Joshua had Derek Wilson assigned as our project manager. Derek, like Josh, is a true professional. While there were some changes and what I call ?Oh, by the ways? he was never frustrated or off putting. We did need to provide our own electrician and plumber to hook up the Jacuzzi Whirlpool, Fire Master BBQ grill (from Alan?s Barbeque in Agoura Hills, also outstanding) and lights, but were fortunate enough to find Oz of Oz Electric in North Hollywood via our whirlpool supplier, LifeStyle Outdoor. In the end, we are ecstatic with the work that was done and know that because of the parts of the work we don?t see on the surface (drainage, aggregate under the pavers, high quality lighting etc.) we will be just as pleased 5, 10 20 years out as we are now.

It looks very nice and is guaranteed for I think ten years.

They were clean and neat and 5 gentleman took care of this day-long project. They’re a good company and we would recommend them and will using them again.

They were outstanding; they were great. They answered all my questions. We worked with a great team. They did the driveway in less time than they told us. It only took about 8 days. We have a very long driveway.

We got a number of estimates. At first we were just doing the driveway. Later we decided to add the atrium area, too. We had gotten a second estimate for the larger job which sounded better than the estimate given us by Systems. We had a lot of difficulty deciding what we wanted (concrete, stamped concrete, style of pavers, etc). While we were trying to make up our minds, Systems called back and asked to come a second time to show us more alternatives. The salesman (Jay) spent a lot of time with us and was able to show us some images on the computer of our house with the different options. Systems matched the lower price we had gotten from another company and it was clear they wanted our business. We finally selected a color and tile type and slated the project to begin in a couple weeks, a time that worked best for us. I think the project turned out to be harder than expected, as removing the concrete in the atrium was a huge job. It was thicker than expected and all had to be broken up and removed by hand. Nonetheless, the job progressed on schedule. When they started to lay the pavers we were very concerned about our choice of colors, which looked different to us than what we had expected. It was very clear the foreman wanted to make sure we were happy and we managed to use two of the three colors in the mix without getting a checkerboard effect. They finished the project in 5 1/2 days. The workmanship was perfect and they didn't cause any damage, even to surrounding plantings. I cannot say enough about their professionalism or the skill of their work. The finished project is exactly what we ordered. To be honest, we are still getting used to the change. The colors go beautifully with the house and we just finished painting the garage door. It really does look great. My only possible advice to anyone considering this company is to get the best price you can. Other than that, I cannot fault this company in any way. I would definitely use them again in the future.

We are super pleased with the company we chose - but it was NOT System Pavers. The job presented many challenges along the way, that were not discovered until the excavation began. I have nothing but praise for our contractor - Pacific Outdoor Living / Pacific Pavingstone.

George Lopez was a super nice guy. We had over 6,700 square feet of paver stone put down. They were really professional and I would highly recommend them. Their timeframe they gave us was exact. They cleaned up everyday after themselves. We have 2 dogs and they were very considerate and when I let the dogs out they would stop the jack hammers.

Responded promptly to all our Jeff Greer was our Design Consultant. He was wonderful at sketching the design we wanted for the front yard. He was pleasant and approachable. He responded promptly to our calls. Chad Ramunni was the field supervisor. He managed the day to day stuff on the job beautifully. We wanted the planters to be curved and more organic shaped. He called us out to have us mark the shapes we wanted for each planter. The man who laid the pavers around the curves in the planters was Jose Chavez. He did the most amazing job with having to cut each paver stone individually to fit the curves in the planter. The whole job was beautifully done. We have had people stopping constantly to tell us how beautiful the front yard looks. They all did a superb job.

I would recommend them to others and I will continue to use their services in the future if necessary.

job completed on time and as planned. very good daily site clean up. very good final product. demolition foreman (Gus) and installation foreman (Sam) excellent; install coordinator (Claudia) on site for completion.

They were very thorough. They followed up with a slight problem after the job was done. They really delivered the product exactly the way they described it.

As soon as they finished putting paving stones, I noticed some of the pavers were already faded. They told me that after they seal it , the stones would not look faded or uneven. Even after they sealed it(did lousy job of sealing) it still did not look right. I called the company ABOUT 2 WEEKS AFTER they finished and a supervisor came by and agreed wiith me that it should be fixed. He never did anything. Called again, 2nd supervisor came out and said the same thing as the first supervisor and agreed to send a crew out to fix the stones and reseal it. 2nd supervisor did nothing. Third supervisor came by and he did nothing either. The problem is mainly in the front of the house. There is also some weeds growing between the stones. Also the sealing was not very good , because much of the sand they put between the stones has disappeared.

Their price was right, and their presentation was excellent. The work took one week to complete, which was exactly what they said. They were clean, and they cleaned up after themselves after every day. Their people were quiet, they didn't play loud music and they were polite. They were good with the follow up. The superintendent stopped by every day and talked to me. I had a minor issue and they came back out and fixed it within a day or two. They were excellent. I have recommended them to all of my friends.

Unprofessional and desperate for work is the nicest way I can describe this company. Two employees arrived at our home to review the project scope and take measurements; all areas combined are less than 400 square feet. The appointment took over two hours and instead of receiving a bid, they requested another meeting estimated to last another 45 minutes to review permitting (which is not required). Since then, I have received three phone calls pitching their services. During the first and second phone conversations, I advised that we would not engage them in professional services. With that said, typically, the calls go something like this: "What if I told you we would charge you only $10k for the project? Would you hire us then? We'll do demo for free, how does that sound?" I received another call today, and when I requested (again) that they remove me from their marketing list, was hung up on. This most recent call prompted me to write a review of this company. Systems Paving is undoubtedly the most unprofessional company I have dealt with and should be ashamed of how they conduct their business.
