Jim was prompt, courteous and patient. Removed old thermostats, offered a choice and installed the ones we chose after also giving prices and pros and cons of each. He helped us complete the process, program the units and will return on a regular basis to do semi annual checkups and change filters. Very pleasant and complete service.

I have used them for many years. They are a family company & have always done excellent work, although slightly more expensive than the "discount" companies.

They went above and beyond. Basically getting the quote and everything from them was a breeze. Walt, the owner, and three of his team members came out to my home. Walt explained how all his team members have been with him at least 10 years. Walt took time to answer all of my questions and even some I didn’t think to ask, which was great. I felt comfortable with them. They also took care of all the state and city permits for inspections. They put down tarps so our house remained clean. Their work was exemplary. When they pulled out the old furnace, Walt showed me the issues with the furnace. There were 3 cracks on one of the components that could have cause carbon monoxide issues, etc. I highly recommend Walt and his company to others.

Price was the most reasonable of the 3 contractors we interviewed. Installation was very quick, and the crew was punctual and professional on the job. I would definitely recommend them to others.

They came right on time. They told me what was wrong with my airconditioner and adivsed me they could come back on Saturday and do the repair work. They showed up on time and completed the work promptly. They charged me what they had quoted me in the estimate and even threw in a new air filter. The employees were friendly and explained everything. I am very happy with their service and would definately use them again and refer them to friends.

Conejo Valley Heating and Air was doing an installation on my street. I spoke briefly with the installer, and was impressed with his knowledge and courtesy. I followed up with the customer, who was extremely satisfied with the cost and professionalism of the total install (furnace and air system replacement). Shortly thereafter, I decided to have Conejo Valley Heating and Air provide me with an estimate, and an overview of work required. Mr. Branden Dickey (owner) came out and we discussed at length the optimum remedy to address my cooling requirements. As I live in a multi-level townhome with the master suite at the top, my priority was to cool this room efficiently. Previously, this was impossible with the single zone system. Mr Dickey's suggestion was to install a mini-split system for this room, which may provide enough cooling for the level below as well. As it turned out, this was the case. My home's lower levels were usually cool enough without use of the central system (due to tree shading, trellis, and limited exposure to sun), The mini-split installation was perfect for me, and should ultimately be very cost effective, as it is delivering cooling where it is needed. In summary, the installation was extremely professional...performed by very knowledgeable staff. From their vehicle and equipment to the care and attention of all aspects (including follow-up), it was first class all the way. I would highly recommend their services.

I wish there was a grade higher than A. Brandon was a pleasure to deal with. He was professional, he carefully explained the problem and my options with no pressure for any selection. When I asked about a new furnace, he gave me a fair price, explained what he would do and more importantly told me what I did not need to have done at this time. My wife was in the hospital and I needed the repair done before she came home. He brought his crew in on Saturday afternoon at no additional cost, kept in contact with me by cell phone, took care of the entire repair and installation. It was exactly as he said it would be. I could not be more satisfied.

The people that answer the phone are very nice and courteous. They apologize if they couldn't get someone out for three days, but three days was perfect. They are very friendly. They actually put their information right on our air-conditioner, so that makes it helpful to us; sometimes you forget who it was and all we have to do is go out and look on the sticker on the air-conditioner. I think he knew exactly what was wrong with it. He didn't have the part, but the last time that we had the work done my husband had tried to fix something himself. He ordered the part that the guy needed, so lucky for us. We actually had what he needed because he didn't have it on his truck. It worked out perfect. They are a very nice people. He was right on time. We don't have anyone come to our house that it's not on Angie's List. We've had such amazing results from everybody we've called that ... we don't even look for anyone anymore unless they are off Angie's List.

First of all, I interviewed about a dozen contractors for this job before choosing Conejo. Of all the contractors who came to my house, only Wally (the VERY hands-on company owner) actually measured the airflow on the existing system and designed and proposed a new system based on sound engineering principles. I'm an engineer and this was very good to see. Every other contractor basically quoted a remove/replace job where they would swap out the A/C and furnaces, but nobody took the time and effort to properly design a system like Wally. Best yet, Wally was not the most expensive bid I received. He wasn't the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. I have a house with lots of sunlight and wanted the A/C system to work really well. Wally was the only contractor where I felt this would happen. The entire job was completed in two full days by a crew of 5-6 people - including Wally who is up in the hot attic all day long with his crew - performing work, supervising their work, and teaching them all along the way. I have to say - these guys worked extremely hard and non-stop for two days. Best yet, they were utterly friendly and professional the whole time. They were very careful to not damage or dirty our house, they cleaned everything up at the end of the day perfectly, and did absolutely everything they promised to do. The systems were finished just in time for a couple of 90+ degree days and they work beautifully. There was a minor issue with one of the A/C systems - I just called Wally and he was at my house in 10 minutes and had it resolved in 20 minutes. I'm pretty finicky with this stuff and was really impressed by the whole experience. Kudos to you and your team, Wally. Upsides: + Solid design and engineering of the system - the only vendor who did this + Very professional + Worked very hard + Kept house clean + Great support + System works great Downsides: + On the more expensive end of the bids I got + Ineligible for SCE rebates because Conejo Valley Heating and Air is not one of their approved vendors. I didn't know this ahead of time and it could have saved about 10-15% of the cost of the job. In the end, I'd highly recommend Wally and Conejo Valley Heating and Air. They really stood apart and did a great job.

Family owned company that has been in business because of referrals & professionalism. I got several estimates & they were not straight with me. They started crazy high & cut down with supposed discounts for Angie's list etc. Conejo started with the real cost,which was a thousand or two less. He listened & told me what he has for his home & his rental home. He detailed in writing what I was getting, the other salesman wouldn't do that. He worked out a deal with Trane which is mentioned in consumer reports. The office staff was also friendly and nice. They are local in case there are future repairs. They completed the install in a day and were clean, quiet & neat about it.. The owners son who sold me the unit came by to check the job. Price may be cheaper due to off season install before the heat.

Some delay on service due to heavy commitment schedule. Can't fault for this. Phone calls returned promptly. Informed initially of delay. Service tech excellent. Fast and complete fix. No complaints. Very pleasant to work with and chat with. Definitely would recommend. Can't comment on price because I feel everything is overpriced these days, even the dollar menu at McDonald's.

Brendan simply rocks. You will not find a better heating and AC company around. Heck his father is supposedly the wizard...move over sir, new generation on deck!! Impressed to say the least in terms of quality and professionalism. Folks there are scam artist and people who are limited in expertise....not the case with these folks. Bottom line: You want the job done right and a great price--call Conejo Valley Heating and Air conditioning. You will not be disappointed unless you want a half a** job.

The service call went well and we scheduled a follow up call for some minor repairs on our unit. I would recommend Conejo Valley Heating & air to my friends and neighbors.

Branden is the man....If you want HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY, NO BS and TOP NOTCH service, don't you dare go anywhere else. If you want someone to CUT CORNERS, find TEMPORARY solutions and PERFORM shotty work---stay away from Branden. It's rare to find a reputable, straight shooting, honest and affordable heating/air rep. He is our rep as long as we live in SOCAL.

Conejo Valley was very prompt and professional. They made sure everything was up to code, even existing pieces that they did not replace, and walked us through the permit process - both state and local. They cleaned up everything they did, including coming back to clean the driveway after they accidentally spilled paint. They were also the best price we got from several bids.

The install team arrived and covered my carpet and the area around my attic access to avoid a mess. I own a condo, and as a problem came up, a manager who was a general contractor arrived quickly to assist in decision making. Due to my HOA I had to stop mid install. There was no additional cost for the next visit to complete the install. When they came back to finish, more questions came up about the exterior positioning of my condenser unit, and again a supervisor (the owner) who was a general contractor arrived to resolve it. All in all the install took about 8 hours, and the final price mached the estimate exactly! I'm very pleased.

I was able to schedule them within 2 weeks of the call. The technician arrived on time and wore booties to prevent soiling my carpet. He discovered a degrading capacitor on one of my air conditioning units and was able to replace it during the servicing. He did not try to convince me that all of my air distribution ducting had to be replaced as another vendor had. He did identify the need for a drip pan under the evaporators installed in the attic, as had the technician from the other company but told me that it was not absolutely necessary. In other words, not hard sell!

It turned out great. They are a good company. I used them before a few months ago. I highly recommend them.

I recently came home from a trip and found that my heat wasn't coming on. After trying numerous fixes myself (restart the pilot, check the fuses, etc., etc.) I gave up, went on Angie's List and set up an appointment with Conejo Valley Heating and AC. The person on the phone was pleasant and set up an appointment for the next day with Bobby. She also explained that is was a 70 dollar service call that would be taken off if there was any work done. Bobby was on time and very cordial and professional. He patiently listened to my story and my diagnosis (which turned out to be completely wrong). It turned out that all I had to do was put the cover back on my furnace!! I had correctly reset the pilot light, but the furnace has a kill button that deploys when the cover is off. So, after feeling like a moron I talked a little more with Bobby and thanked him for the effort. Now here comes the kicker, when I asked how much I owed him he said, "nothing". I was more than ready to pay the 70 dollars for his time, but he was gracious enough to waive the fee due to the ease of the repair. It was really classy and if I ever need help with my heating or AC I will definitely call Conejo Valley Heating and Air first.

We had been nursing along an old heating and air conditioning system for a few years putting up with some start-up and shutdown noises. Finally, it had to go! We obtained quotes from three venders including Branden from Conejo Heating and Air. He really took the time to listen to our concerns about noise and air filtration. Our old unit was downstairs near the entryway that made it noisy for our living room, family room and the kitchen. We could also hear it start up from our bedroom. Branden recommended that we relocate the new furnace to the attic and install all new properly sized ducting to minimize noise. We were provided names of three customers that had made this conversion and I personally spoke to all three. They all had high recommendations for both Branden and his company's services as well as low noise of the upstairs attic installation. After reviewing the three bids and another meeting with Branden, we decided to work with him due to the recommendations of our neighbor, excellent Angie's list reviews and the phone references. Branden also recommended that we install the Trane Clean effects air filtration system. He was very helpful in answering all our questions and we scheduled an install date. The install went very well with lots of guys and trucks arriving on time in the morning to remove the old system and install the new. It went very well and we appreciated the expertise of his employees and the onsite foreman Donny and appreciated that Branden's dad, Wally, co-owner of the company was there for a large portion of the day helping supervise as well. By 430 PM, we had a new operating system. Wow, was it quiet, it went from a roar, to a minor rumbling heard through the ceiling and main return duct. Now we can use the TV and entertain without the system interfering. Absolutely, no sound heard now in the master bedroom. Branden really listened to us and designed an especially quiet system with a large return duct so that the system working quietly and efficiently. We also received an incredible digital touch sensitive web enabled thermostat that we can control either by touching or using our cell phone or ipad. Very convenient as we can warm up the house before we get home. We are looking forward to using the clean effects during allergy season and during Santa Anna Winds to reduce the pollen and dust content int he house. The air already seems cleaner with occasional use of the system during heating. We are thorough pleased with our system, the professionalism of the staff and the excellent customer service of Branden, Wally, Donny and the rest of their team.

They were excellent. They were nice people. They were clean and did what they had to. My husband did research and got estimates from other companies but we went with Conejo Valley. They were very punctual.

I called the main office number and was directed to the on-call number for after-hours service. Within 10 minutes I was given a 4 hour window in which to wait for service, and the service provider Brenden (who co-owns the business with his father) was there a few minutes early. He was very professional and courteous, knowledgeable, and within less than 30 minutes of his arrival the problem was fixed. He reduced the after-hours charge as a courtesy for being an Angie's List member, and he offered advice on how to keep the unit maintained safely in the future without having to spend excessively. He cleaned our air filter out on the driveway and afterward insisted on thoroughly hosing down the driveway before he left. We will definitely be using Conejo Valley Heating and Air in the future for maintenance. The experience was truly a pleasant surprise.

Both of my central air units stopped working in the middle of the recent heat wave. I called numerous HV companies trying to schedule an appointment. Even though it was a Sunday and a little outside of there normal coverage area, Conejo came out to work on the units. They diagnosed the problem quickly, made the repairs, checked for additional potential issues, found that the freon was low in one unit. Took the time to wait around to let it run to make sure everything was okay, while they waited, spent some time going over the maintenance that I should be doing to keep the units running as efficiently as possible. I would strongly recommend them for any work large or small and I know I will only use them in the future.
