Outstanding job from start to finish. Greg came to my house and took the time to thoroughly assess my HVAC needs. He made excellent recommendations and provided me with an outstanding quote. The job commenced within a week. I believe there were four technicians working on the job. The workers were very polite, considerate, and also professional. I could tell by watching them that they knew their jobs. The project was completed within two days with minimal inconvenience. Upon completion of the job, Branden came by and inspected the work. I truly appreciated this aspect of the work because I am a firm believer in oversight. Branden listened to my concerns about an air flow problem in my office. Branden assessed the problem and felt a new vent/grill would solve the issue. Three days later as promised, Branden arrived at my house with grill in tow; problem solved. Well done!! I have nothing but praise for this organization. I can get a pretty accurate idea of how a company is operated based upon its employees. The staff at CVHA were all top notch, which I believe is a reflection of their leadership. Do not hesitate to use this company!!!

We couldn't have been more pleased with the work, service, punctuality and quality of product. They were attentive to our needs, our schedule. Their customer service goes above and beyond. They actually return ALL phone calls and emails almost immediately. All questions answered and information given without delay. Work was completely done in a timely manner, with everything removed and cleaned when they finished. Their warranty and service are beyond acceptable. I would recommend this company to anyone who is in need of a replacement unit OR service maintenance. The company that did the HERS test, Air Design, is a great company with very attentive personnel. These 2 companies go hand in hand when in need of a central unit. We couldn't be more satisfied with both companies.

Don did a fine job on installing the earthquake valve. While there, he detected gas emanating from the gas meter and advised me right away. We phoned the gas company who sent out a tech. The tech then confirmed the leak and installed an entirely new gas meter. I feel very fortunate to have had this service and such excellent service from Don and this company.l I have found the servicemen from this company to be consistently top quality.

The service was very good. They arrived on time. They worked efficiently and I thought the price was reasonable. I would tell a friend that they should feel comfortable hiring them.

It was probably the best experience I had with the contractor. They were punctual and they worked so cleanly. Every time they were in my house, they left it spotless. Any questions I had, they answered, they were available and it's a company that's easy to work with.

I've used them in the past. The work is good. They are very prompt. I would tell a friend that they are confident, professional, and they don't push you into buying things you don't need.

My furnace was installed was manufactured in 1997. I have to decide whether to replace the circuit board or purchase and install a brand new furnace. The circuit board will take 3 to 10 days to be received. The new furnace could be installed in 2 days. I am pricing the XR80 Trane furnace to compare the pricing they are quoting me. $3750 includes all the permits and installation.

Hottest day of the year and no one was available to fix my A/C. These guys made themselves available to come fix my old A/C. Professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Would definitely use again !

Branden, the owner, arrived on time and we discussed my family's needs for heating and air conditioning in our home. My first impression of Branden was his overwhelming knowledge of the equipment and installation of the systems. I was so pleased to finally find a heating and air conditioning professional rather than a high pressure salesman. Being that we just had a very old furnace our registers in the ceiling were a bit small for A/C. The salesmen from two other heating and air conditioning companies told me that they couldn't use our five registers, and their company would leave them non-functioning in our ceiling with a metal cover over them in the attic. Branden used all 5 register locations and added a second register in various rooms as needed. The registers look great. Regarding compressor location, Branden chose the perfect location next to the garage. The other two heating and air companies told me it could only be installed on a patio next to some rooms where we didn't want it. Also, we would not be able to use our small patio. It took more work for his crew to place it by the garage but we are so happy with the location. The crew arrived on time and installed the heating and air system in one day. Donny's crew consisted of 6 members plus himself. Donny, a very personable and knowledgeable contractor, worked alongside his well trained crew members with precision. It seemed like each member knew his job and didn't waste any time doing the work. They cleaned up the house and yard nicely. During the installation Branden arrived to check if we had any questions. The next day he stopped by and double checked the equipment and the installation. Branden when in the attic pointed out that our skylight shafts were not properly sealed, and that we would lose heat and air if not fixed. Also, he replaced an unsafe connection to our gas water heater at no charge. What a find to have a great company really look out for the best interest of the home owner. My husband and I are so happy with our new air conditioner and furnace. We would highly recommend the Conejo Valley Heating & Air Conditioning Company.

We had seven different HVAC providers visit us to quote this job since we purchased this home last May. We knew the heater was 18 years old and likely to have to be replaced at some point. Additionally, we had owned several homes -- but never seen as much dust as we saw in this house. We could not figure out what was wrong -- figured it was the ducts someplace. My husband even patched some when he did venture to the attic himself at some point. Branden came by the house and immediately pointed out what SIX different companies failed to point out. The return air path was through unconditioned space -- basically a path through the drywall that was open to the space between the walls and attic. After the air was filtered in the return air path, it entered a space that was basically filthy?..or filthy for the couple of allergy sufferers in our home. Why no one could figure this out before Branden stopped by I will never know. They all tried to upsell us on HEPA filters and everything else under the sun. We started wondering if they were right. They were not. We did not install any HEPA filters or other fancy add ons to the equipment. We simply had them re-run returns using actual ductwork. Our house is no longer a dust factory and we are finally able to breath easier. Last thing that Branden picked up on was the fact that our coil was the wrong size. I was skeptical as SIX other companies clearly missed this in their quotes. I did check the model/serial number -- and sure enough he was right. So we went into the job knowing what we would pay and with no unexpected charges after they discovered issues later. Their prices were actually lower than every single company that came in our doors -- although we would have used them if they were higher. They also made time to do the install the following day as we were soon having wood floors installed and they worked with us so that they were not doing work on top of the brand new wood floors. I imagine the floors would have been fine -- but it was really nice to do the dirty work before the flooring was down. This company will be the only company that touches our HVAC system in the future. There are a lot of really overpriced suppliers in this valley. I trust this company.

Conejo Valley Heating & A/C gave us the lowest bid of 4 contractors, not counting a 5th contractor who tried to sell us the soon-to-be-banned R-22 refrigerant. I was impressed with the upfront honesty and personal touches from all the Conejo Valley Heating & A/C people we met or talked to on the phone. They took care of everything, including the permits and inspections, and the owner even came out afterwards for a final walk-through. Even our dog, who normally barks at all visitors, took a special liking to the sales person.

We have a really old heating and air conditioning system that is eventually going to have to be replaced. We also wanted him to tell us how much it would be to replace it and be grandfathered into the code because we have a really old house. He was very informative and knowledgeable about what to do next. He said it could run for the next 10 years but we were also cooling our attic so it wasn't energy efficient. He said it was something we could address sooner than later. He was really polite about it. It was really inexpensive for him to come out and see that everything was still running strong.

This company and their technician Branden are truly HEROES to us! The air conditioner quit over the Labor Day weekend. We had a technician from a different company come out to diagnose the problem. He informed us it needed parts that would amount to $1300.00, he also informed us that he thought the system should be replaced because it was a matter of time that more would go wrong with it. I proceeded to get bids to replace the unit. When Branden from Conejo Valley Heating and Air Conditioning arrived to look at the system to give an estimate on a new Heating and Air Conditioning system he discovered that a wire in the air conditioning unit had shorted out and actually caused a small fire in the metal box within the unit. He said it was not properly wired when the system was originally put in the house. He rewired the faulty wiring in the unit and the air conditioner works! Branden and Conejo Valley Heating and Air Conditioning saved us money and saved the day! We are thrilled to have found such an HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY company to do business with in Thousand Oaks, CA. We have decided to use this company for our yearly maintenance and repairs. When the time comes to replace the system we will have Conejo Valley Heating and Air Conditioning do the work because they have knowledgable representatives and the company has INTEGRITY! Branden came to the condo, talked to me about what I wanted/needed. He looked at what we had and gave me his recommendation with NO confusion. He did not recommend based on price but rather based on our needs. There was no hard sell, not even a tiny bit. My husband was out of town. I told him I wanted to contract with his company and I felt confident my husband would agree. He went to his vehicle, got a contract, filled it in and brought it back to me. He suggested again that I could wait until my husband came home if I chose. When I said not necessary he said to just call if I needed and he would cancel the contract. Of course, that was unnecessary since my husband was thrilled with it. The installers were to come between 8 and 9 a.m. They arrived at 8:15 and explained what they were going to do and began. Boy, did they work hard! In less than 7 hours they took out the old furnace, installed a new one and replaced the thermostat. When they left the only trace of their having been there was a brand new system in place. Before they left, they gave us info on how to work it and allowed any and all questions! A few days later, Branden returned to check if there were any issues. I wish I could think of one thing they did wrong...I've got nothing! I cannot find high enough praise for their courtesy and efficiency. I'd be shocked if anyone else did.

It went very well, they came out twice, first to assess the situation and do an inspection and determine what the problems were. The second time someone came out they corrected and repaired the issues. Everything is running very well now and they did a great job, and were very nice and competent and through.

tService technician declined to do what I was thinking of having done, He gave me a cost estimate and did not try to sell me, but rather honestly said it was not worth doing for what it would cost. I had wanted the air conditioning condenser moved to the left a few feet. It sits on my patio and really interferes with furniture placement. He left me a card and I will indeed call them in the fall to have the heating and airconditioning units serviced. I found him to be professional and honest, did not try to up sell me anything.. It turns out he was the son of the owner of the company

Before I was going to leave for a three week vacation my central air stopped working. I found Conejo Valley Heating & Air on Angies list and called the day before I was leaving. Desarie answered the phone and was happy and very helpful. She set me up for an appointment the day after was I come back. She also said they would call with a reminder phone call which they did the day before. The appointment was scheduled for 1-3 pm. Thinking I had to wait until three I didn't make any appointments until later. But James the technician called about 10 mins before one and got to my house right at 1:00. He was very friendly and helpful and check everything on my central unit. He checked the swtich breaker and found that the breaker for the air con was labeled wrong. He then took off the plate to the switch breakers he connected up the wires to the air con which had become loose. James was so quick to fix my problem with no hassles it was great! My charge was only $78 which was the service charge. I have already recommended Conejo Valley Air to all my family and friends. It was so nice to have a repair man not trying the charge for something that wasn't needed. This is a great company and would for sure use them again.

Initial inspection & planning by owner Branden Dickey was thorough. He responded to my wants and needs in good fashion, correcting a few of my misconceptions along the way. There was no hype or 'one-time special' nonsense in the sales pitch. Branden and his foreman Donny plus a crew of six arrived on-time for installation, which went smoothly and without incident. Floor-mats, booties and other protective gear were used effectively. My house is two stories, with difficult attic access, but this seemed to be no problem for the crew. Altho Branden was not there the entire time, he popped in and out to check progress and handle problems. He cares very much about the performance and integrity of the crew and the whole operation, from start to completion. By mid-afternoon the job was done and cleanup was complete. Everything worked correctly the first time, which to me is a sign of professionalism. Another small thing, but important to me: There was an upbeat atmosphere among the crew and Donny and Branden for the duration of the job. Just added to the feeling of confidence I already had. Also, they went out of their way to respond to little requests from me (e.g. stuck vents, verify integrity of electrical box, saw out concrete walkway for condenser, etc). All in all, Conejo Valley Heating & Air gets my highest rating. MY THANKS to Branden, Donny, and crew!

I highly recommend them, Extremely knowledgeable, been with company for a numbers of years, they were a pleasure to talk to. Their prices are reasonable, work was good, they were efficient. They went in and identified the problem, and fixed what they could to get the air conditioner going, he recommended we get some other stuff done, and is due to come out next week.

Brandon, the owner's son came out and did a through inspection to determine what was needed. We believe that the heating system was the original installed when the house was built. The original duct work had asbestos, and this was removed separately by an EPA approved company prior to new installation. We received a timely bid for the work, it was the best price with a quality manufacturer, and Conejo Valley Heating and AC was recommended by Angie's list, as well as a number of friends. There was no phony initial bid, with a later "discount" in price to try and get the bid. The work started when promised, the workers were professional and courteous, and ran a smooth clean job. The installation took approximately a day and a half. Branden came out and did an inspection after the job was completed to answer any questions we had and to assure that the job was done properly. The system is very quiet, both inside and out, and the AC and heating are working great. The State -approved inspector passed the job with no problem, and volunteered that we had gotten a quality job. This is a family-owned company that has served the Conejo Valley for 30 years. We would highly recommend them.
