Craig was very thorough and explained how things work and what he would be looking for. He identified the issue and fixed the problem. He also fielded a lot questions from my two year old son, while completing the work. My two year old needs answers, so that was appreciated. This was my second experience with this company(years ago they fixed my heater in an old townhouse) and both times I've had positive experiences. Craig was awesome and he made sure I understood what was wrong with the AC unit and how he fixed it. He went above and beyond the call of duty.

I called Conejo Valley Heating and AC at 5pm on Thursday - they immediately sent someone out (literally in 5 minutes!). Ralph was so professional - and he fixed the AC unit within minutes. Very happy!

I called late on a Friday to report the problem and Ralph showed up a few hours later and replaced the capacitor on the same visit. This was no surprise since they had previously told me it would need to be replaced. We've been using CVH&A for several years to service our 10 year old heating and AC system on a regular basis and have been very pleased with their work and professionalism. There's been no sales pressure, only honest recommendations. They replaced all of our 49 year old duct work earlier this year and we're very pleased with the results. Would highly recommend!!!

Conejo Valley Heaing & Air Conditioning checked the system thoroughly, and said that there was no sign the grill had to be replaced. The service man, Ralph, was on time, professional, and clear in his reasons for not needing to replace the grill. Conejo Valley Heating & Air Conditioning is ethical and professional. I highly recommend them.

They showed up when expected, were pleasant (one guy even helped me with a computer problem), finished the work on schedule and cleaned up after themselves. The equipment seems to be working as described and we are happy and comfortable. We've owned several homes over the years and had a lot of remodel and repair work done. We've had work done that is mediocre and some that has been nothing but a problem from start to finish. Conejo Valley Heating is one of the few companies to whom we have ever given a straight A rating. Ralph, Greg and Esau were especially easy to work with.

Brendan, the owner is very conscientious and attends to all details. He was/they were punctual, did a thorough job, didn't cause any problems and finished on time. The heating and air conditioning systems they used are both top quality and have been working perfectly since they finished. This is the third heating system I've had Conejo Valley install. I have rental properties that needed new heaters and Conejo Valley did great work on all. I'm very happy with their work. Their price is high but their high quality work and materials seem to fit in with others in the same category.

The installation crew led by Esau and two helpers arrived on time. The team protected our home with drop cloths and did an excellent clean-up job. Esau told us what the installation entailed every step of the way. Esau communicated with the owner of the company and I spoke with the owner regarding clarification of the duct work. The old ducts were undersized, inefficient and did not meet code. An additional three man crew came to do the sheet metal work. The company that did the old work did not install the necessary fuse/electrical boxes to meet the code. We bought the house in 2014 and despite a homeowner's inspection and statements by the seller, we still had a non-functional, inefficient and unsafe system. Another technician, Ralph, came the next day after the installation to re-check the system and fine tune any controls. Ralph was an excellent educator to us regarding the system. He checked and re-checked the heat pump and air handler to make sure all systems were spot-on. Candice, who works in the office, is an invaluable member of the team. She expedited the permit process with our senior living community and the city building department. She called and emailed me as if we were her only customer. She is still working with us to complete the HERS testing (air quality testing) required by the state. The owner, Brandon, worked with his father, who started the company 30 yrs. ago. He is a hands- on owner and he will be doing an inspection to make sure that we are happy. This is a first class company, which we highly recommend.

He educated me on the units I have, the age, type, problem that could occur, ect. he was very knowledgeable. He cleaned everything, inspected the attic for proper ducting systems and installation. Talked to be about the maintenance club and what benefits I could use. He was courteous, on time and very professional.

Ralph was very professional, called before arriving and showed up when he said he'd be here. He was very detail focused and reported on everything he found. As I expected due to the interval of service there were a few small things that needed to be done. To my surprise, he had all the parts on the truck and took care of everything on one service call. Ralph was one of those people who its seem natural to trust what he says. There was no up-selling. The things he told me made sense with what we'd experience with the units. I would definitely use this company again.

We purchased a new HVAC system through CVHA approximately six months ago. Part of the sale was to provide a 6 month complimentary inspection of the units. The technician (John B.) arrived on time and completed a thorough inspection of both HVACS. He spent a lot of time going through all aspects of the system and he was very patient/professional while answering my questions. Highly recommended!

Conejo Valley Heating and Air Conditioning just finished installing a completely new HVAC system in my home (including all new ducting, furnace, air conditioning condenser, new registers and thermostat) and I couldn?t be happier with the process and results. This entire project started over a month ago when I started searching for a company to replace my old noisy a/c condenser. What I thought would be a simple condenser replacement ended up being a total new system because of the age and inefficiency of my existing system. Additionally, the old ducting was the original fiberglass material from the 70?s (when the house was built) which terminated into the original asbestos ?boots?. This was all brought to my attention by the first HVAC contractor who came out to provide a (ridiculously expensive) estimate. I started researching online to learn about HVAC systems including SEER, decibel levels, single stage, dual stage, and so on. I ended up consulting with four different HVAC companies in my area. All were rated high on Angie?s List and Yelp. After about two weeks of research and a lot of questions I chose Conejo Valley Heating and Air. My decision to go with Conejo Valley was initially based on their sales rep Greg. Greg patiently and tirelessly answered every question, addressed every concern and provided assurance that his recommended system was the best solution for my home with no high pressure sales tactics. In doing so he demonstrated the integrity and customer focused philosophy of the company. Once I made my decision I was nervous that maybe now that Greg closed the deal it might all go down hill. Not so. Every person on their team was great?from Candace in the office who handled the contract, helped coordinate with the asbestos removal company, and scheduled the system installation, to Alan in the office who confirmed appointments and answered questions, to Bobby who came out to evaluate the ducting and system design, to the great crew who did the one day installation. I must make note that I work at home and the crew could not have been more respectful. After installation I expressed a concern to the crew that that the condenser seemed louder than I thought it should be. They notified their service manage James who came out that evening to look at the system and in doing so made some adjustments to the unit which resulted in a very quiet system. James was great, can't say enough about him. Greg also called me to reassure me that they would not leave until I was happy. The following day Brandon, the owner, came out to do site walk and to ensure that I was completely satisfied. What I thought might be a disruptive and ?iffy? experience turned out to be a seamless one day project. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to family and friends. I can?t imagine anyone not being satisfied.

Company called to set up an appointment to service my air conditioning unit and furnace. John Banks, the Maintenance Technician, showed up on time and serviced both units. He courteously called before he came to let me know exactly what time he would be there (the appointment was within a one hour window). He was professional and knowledgeable, and did a thorough job. I have always had great results from Conejo Valley Heating and Air, from the installation of the equipment to the regularly scheduled service. I recommend them to anyone in need of heating or air conditioning solutions.

Bobby from Conejo Valley HVAC came out and fixed our water heater. Another vendor had worked on it and since then it made a very loud noise when the heating element turned on the unit. Bobby knew immediately what was wrong and went to work to fix it. He explained it all to me and to my husband. I was extremely pleased with his work. I also used Conejo Valley HVAC to install a new HVAC system about 18 months ago and am signing up for their maintenance service today. It's extremely affordable and will cover issues with the HVAC, water heater and also my dryer unit! I have become a loyal customer with today's experience.

We originally had a leak from the furnace so we called Conejo Valley Heating and Air. Bobby Montiel was able to come out within 48 hours and found it was the condensate pump and was able to replace it that day. At the time we signed up for the Preferred Maintenance Program which includes regular maintenance and a 15% discount on additional repairs that are needed. Bobby came out for the regular maintenance and found that the evaporation coils were approximately 75% restricted. We scheduled to have this taken care of the following week and again Bobby was the service manager that was able to perform the service. The office is very courteous and easy to work with. They give you a time window for when they will be at your home to perform the service and call when they are on the way. It is nice to have the same service manager come each time and Bobby has been very helpful and informative. I would highly recommend Conejo Valley Heating and Air.

We called to schedule the appointment. The person answering the phone was very professional and was able to answer appropriate questions about the initial appointment. Brandon, the owner arrived to give us an estimate and he arrived right on time as scheduled. He was very friendly and my wife felt comfortable having him in our home and never felt like she was being taken advantage of, because she was a woman without a man in the house. There were no high pressure sales tactics, which is always appreciated. We had aspestos ducting, which his company does not handle. however, Brandon was able to tell us the cost of the abatement and was able to refer us to another company who was just as professional. Once we made up our mind to have the work done, the scheduling process and the actual work took place like clockwork. Work permits pulled by Conejo Heating and Air, Asbestos ducting removed one day, furnace installation started and completed the next day. All work was done in a very clean manner. In fact, when I got home from work after each step, I could not tell anything had been done in the home because it was all cleaned up and left just the way it was when I left in the morning. The work permit was sent to us to have all of the needed inspections completed. All office staff were able to answer all of our questions about the permitting process. Now that a full year has passed, I can say that we are very happy with our decision to have our furnace replaced by Brandon and the crew at Conejo Valley Heating and Air. The new system has been flawless. Today John, one of the Maintenance Technicians came to our house to do a complementary system check. He called to see if it would be okay for him to come to the house before our scheduled time (wow, he was early). Although I was not home, he was happy to wait at my house until I came home. He was in and out of my house in about 45 minutes. He answered all of my questions and was able to tell me what it was that he was doing and not just going through some motions. I could tell John took pride in his work. These guys are all professionals and do a very high quality job. We highly recommend these guys every opportunity we have, and will continue to do so.

We had a gas wall heater which required a new thermostat. Russell, our service tech, arrived on time and quickly went to work installing the new thermostat after assessing the best placement location. This required him to go under the house in the crawl space to provide the most aesthetic and functional location so that no wires were visible. He was careful to place protective booties over his boots when re-entering the house each time so as not to cause any damage to our floors. His electronics experience was evident as he was able to thread the wires through the wall from below, mount and wire the thermostat for a very clean look. The thermostat functioned perfectly. Due to ignorance, we inadvertently caused a short to ground with the metal chain holding the printed instruction cards for the heater. Russell returned and diagnosed this problem in a few seconds, moved the metal chain and all has been well. We are quite happy with the result as well as the cost of the service and would not hesitate to recommend Conejo Valley Heating and Air Conditioning.

This company and it's employees are the best. We had an a/c problem, Russell came out and discovered that we needed to replace a motor. He had one on his truck and replaced it right then. The employees of this company are personable, professional, pay a lot of attention to detail. One key thing for me is THEY LISTEN. Their customer service surpasses any company. And we have dealt with more than I care to say. I would tell anyone to go to this company first! Don't waste your time with other companies. Your going to end up with Conejo anyway.

My air conditioner did not work over the weekend. I called Saturday morning and was able to get an appointment for that Monday at 7 am. The service provider (Ralph) introduced himself and put on booties before he came into the house. He asked what was wrong and told him that we do not have cold air coming through just warm air. He went in the backyard and notice that a fuse was not working and the area was pretty dirty which he cleaned that also. Great service!

There were big obstacles to overcome and they did this honestly and professionally. All workers were fantastic and the followup was great as well. Would recommend them to anyone looking for routine maintenance or new installation. Our new units are fantastic!!!!!

Just move your stuff out of the way and they do the rest. drop cloths, booties for their shoes. No mess left for us to clean up. Management checks job before and after. Good experience

They were real polite and very helpful from the beginning we scheduled a date for them to come by which they did on time. They fixed our heating and air conditioning at a good price and haven't any issues since then thank you.

Prior to the work we had almost no air flow to the master and guest bedrooms. The flow to the living room was also mediocre. The old fiberglass ducting could not be cleaned and was filthy. No wonder I began sneezing every time the air came on! We now have excellent air flow to all rooms. I obtained four bid proposals prior to making my decision. Conejo Valley Air was one of the most expensive but they were also the only one to use science and math to explain how the system works and how they were going to design my new system. Like the old saying goes: "you get what you pay for"! They more than met my expectations. Their people are professional and courteous. They responded to all of my questions and and gave me a needed HVAC education. I thoroughly recommend Conejo Valley Air!

Ralph the HVAC technician arrived onsite he was properly dressed in neat uniform identifying himself from Conejo Valley Heating and Air. Ralph put booties on his feet before entering our property to ensure cleanliness within our home. Ralph troubleshoot the system and determined that there was shorted circuit in the low voltage control circuit which he promptly repaired. Ralph keep me informed during the whole process of what was going on. Ralph impressed me as total professional just like Wally the owner of the company that installed my HVAC System,

We've been customers of Conejo Valley Heating and Air Conditioning for many years and this is the first time that I called them for routine maintenance, rather then for a needed repair. The appointment was easily scheduled, and the technician, Ralph, arrived with a smile within the time range quoted. After enjoying a warm greeting from our dogs, he began testing all of our a/c systems. He kept me apprised of his progress throughout the 2+ hours that he was here. Ralph let me know that 2 of our a/c units were well beyond their estimated life, att 24 years old, and although still operational, were testing in the low range, and might default during a time of high usage. This information was provided to be helpful, but there was no pressure. Ralph wore shoe protectors while in the house, which was greatly appreciated. I'm once again a happy CV Heating and Air customer. Today truly was 'service with a smile!'

We recently had our old Amana air conditioning unit replaced with a new Trane unit from Conejo Valley Heating & Air Conditioning (CVHAC) and we are extremely pleased with the quality of the product and the whole purchase experience. From the initial no-pressure sales presentation to the post-installation follow-up visit, every member of their team we dealt with (Branden, James, Manuel, David, Rafa, Sandi , Valerie, and Candice) handled themselves with professionalism and courtesy, including covering their work shoes every time they came in our home. In addition to installing the new air conditioning unit, we had CVHAC replace our existing hard-wired smoke detectors with new combo CO/smoke detectors. While installation of the air conditioning unit went smoothly, there was an electrical problem during the installation of the smoke detectors which resulted in damage to some of our small electronic devices. Rather than pointing the finger at us, they accepted responsibility and immediately fixed the problem. They even brought in an outside electrician to make sure the problem had been solved and replaced the damaged items ? all at their own expense! Things don?t always go as planned. And the true test of a company?s service quality is how they handle problems when they arise. In this situation, CVHAC proved that they are genuinely committed to providing outstanding customer service. CVHAC is a remarkable company and we highly recommend them.
