Description of Work: I responded to their offer on Angie's List by sending an e-mail to them where indicated. They did not respond to my e-mail. So I called them and set up an appointment for them to come to the house to measure. They never showed up and never called to explain why. But they eventually put me on their e-mail list for advertising their latest deals. I will never use them.

+ -1 moreI'VE USED THEM FOR A LONG TIME. I'M FAMILIAR WITH THEIR PRODUCTS AND THEIR ABILITY. I'VE NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED. THEIR PRICES ARE VERY COMPETITIVE. IF YOU'RE CHECKING WITH HOME DEPOT AND LOWE'S AND THE LARGER ONES, CONSIDERING THAT ALPINE IS A SMALLER LOCAL CHAIN, THEY'RE COMPETITIVE AGAINST THOSE GUYS.

+ -1 moreTHEY'RE A GOOD COMPANY. THEY GOT MESSED UP WITH THEIR VENDER BECAUSE THEY DELIVERED A CARPET THAT HAD A DEFECT IN IT. THEY INSTALLED IT THEN THEY HAD TO COME BACK, TAKE IT OUT, AND INSTALL NEW CARPET.

+ -1 moreIT WAS GOOD. WE GOT A REMNANT SAMPLE, SO IT WAS A GOOD DEAL. THE QUALITY OF THE CARPET WAS REALLY GOOD. THEY WERE ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF LATE, AND THE DRIVER DIDN'T HAVE A CELL PHONE SO I COULDN'T CONTACT HIM. ONE OF THE WORKERS COULDN'T SPEAK ENGLISH.

+ -1 moreALPINE GAVE US THE MOST COMPETITIVE BID. THE SALESPERSON WAS COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL AND RESPONDED PROMPTLY TO MY INQUIRY. THE INSTALLER WAS COURTEOUS AND PROMPT TO HIS APPOINTMENT. OVERALL, THE FLOOR LOOKS GOOD. I AM CONCERNED ABOUT A FEW SPOTS AROUND THE CABINETS WHERE IT WAS HARDER TO GET THE SEAMS CLOSE TOGETHER. I HAVE ASKED THE SALESPERSON TWICE TO SEND THE INSTALLER OVER TO CHECK IT AND, THOUGH HE WAS COURTEOUS, THIS STILL HAS NOT HAPPENED.
Description of Work: COST INCLUDED PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF 272 FT. AMTICO BRAND VINYL TILE FLOORING.
