We signed up for a Special Tune up through Angie's List. The contactor called and set up a time and showed up exactly on time and began working. he identified the leak and showed us, fixed it and refilled the reservoir. Excellent experience

I initially called Duke's Heating and Air Conditioning because I was unable to turn on my A/C unit.Duke checked everything out and found the Thermostat was not working properly. I was very happy with the serviced provided by Duke's Heating and Air Conditioning.The service man arrived on time and was very curteous and professional. He serviced my A/C unit and replaced the Thermostat.Everything is running very well now. I would highly recommend this company.

Was punctual and knowledgeable in quoting process. Sent a staff member who neatly completed the job and even secured a loose line. I performed a visual inspection down in the more hidden parts parts of air duct with a mirror and found even those areas were patched up as requested. Overall quite satisfied.

They did good work, they were prompt and had a good price.

He was awesome. I had blown the fuse while changing the thermostat and nothing was working. I called and told them that I needed to get it fixed quickly since I had little kids, and he actually came within the hour. He didn't just leave after he fixed the fuse, which took about 10 minutes, but he actually stayed the heater to make sure that it was in good running condition. He talked to me about the different types of filters and which ones I should be using that would work best. They charge by the hour and he used the whole hour to run through everything that needed to be done for the heater, and he didn't have to do that. I liked that, and that is why he will be installing my air conditioning in the spring.

He seems like a very nice guy but he is very unreliable. He didn't show up when we had an appointment and I called him again to reschedule and he didn't show up the second time either. I was very dissapointed and will not use this company again.

It went well. Nothing stood out to me in particular, but they delivered on everything that they promised to do. We were able to set it up relatively easy, they came on time, they gave me a receipt with a checklist of what they performed, and there were no problems.

It went very, very well. Milton was honest, responsive (he was able to come right away), and importantly, did not try to sell me an un-needed new furnace. He checked the entire furnace system, ensuring that there were no carbon monoxide leaks (there weren't) but told me how I could tell a potential carbon monoxide leak in the future. In short, he really looked out for me and my safety; was honest, did a great job, and was easy to work with.

I am very pleased. He came exactly when he was supposed to. He found a relatively low cost problem to fix for my heating system. He fixed it and was done and cleaned up in about half an hour. It went excellently. He had let me know what the possible problems might be and he climbed up into the attic to look at it. He found the simplest and least expensive of the possible problems and he fixed it right away.

This service went great. Would definitely recommend and use again. * I called late morning. He picked-up (not a service/callbck) and he scheduled me same-day. * He gave me a 2-hour window and called-back with a 15min notice of arrival * He tried to save me money with a cheap/easy fix first. * He had the replacement parts in-stock * He fixed the problem in less than 1 hour.

They were fine. The price of the parts was $77.00 and the total was $219.00, so the labor was around $142.50. He was pretty good. I don't know how good his price was as I didn't get other quotes. I thought his price was reasonable. The quality of work was good. It just could have been a little bit better on how he did the wiring. I definitely am going to bring him back to do some more work.

I appreciate that they were on time. The man who installed was very nice and was very professional. Their price according to Angie's List was reasonable, which is why I went with them. I highly recommend this company and would use this company in the future.

I was thrilled with Duke's honesty in doing only what was really needed. He originally provided a quote to remove and replace the fan motor (approx $300). When he arrived, he said the motor has oiling ports and just needed to be oiled once every 2 years. He could have tried to sell me a new motor, or given the age of the unit, a brand new condensing unit. He didn't do that. He simply performed the service needed above. When the time comes for a new condensing unit or a new furnace, I won't hesitate to have him back for an estimate or doing the installation of a new condensing unit or system.

Made appointment for bid. He was a no show for the appt. so I called and he rescheduled. "I was just heading your way" was his response. All the other bids are in and so far nothing from Duke. Nine business days have gone by. Maybe I should have clarified my timing expectations. I always get three bids and I should have over RFP'd to get to the three bid threshold. He may just be very busy...I won't call him again but I did want to alert the next AL'er. Maybe this is a "it's not you -it's me situation" but possibly he had a hand in this unmet expectation?

Our AC/heat pump unit stopped functioning, we had it charged with refrigerant and it was fully functional for about a month. The technician who charged the unit noticed a possible leak, and we began to gather quotes to have the leak repaired. I called three companies off of Angie's List, Duke was the most reponsive in terms of setting up an estimate appointment, the most prompt to arrive (early actually), and the quickest to give me an estimate. One of the other companies (a larger, established company) sent a young technician who said he needed to report his findings to his supervisor for the estimate to be faxed (which they never did). Aside from being the most prompt and efficient, Duke also gave a reasonable estimate. He attempted to repair the unit a few days later, found that it could not actually be repaired, did not charge us for that visit, and promptly gave an estimate for the unit's replacement. Once it was determined that he would be the one to replace the unit, he phoned within hours to set up the time and date. They were on the roof two days later. He and his team worked quickly, efficiently and we are enjoying an air-conditioned office again. Duke is straight-forward and gets the job done.

This is the second time we hired him. First time was about a year ago, he diagnosed and replaced a capacitor. So naturally when I wanted to get the freon levels checked I called him. He showed up when he said he would and got the job done.

Duke was able to install the wall heaters to my satisfaction within 2 working days after the contract was signed. Very knowledgeable and professional.
