DUKES HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING

This guy is a real pro! The original installer came out and gave up on the problem, and I never heard from them again. Duke came out, and diagnosed the issue in an hour. He even submitted the request for a part under warranty, received it, and came back to install it 2 days later. The cost was very reasonable. Thanks Duke!

Duke did a great job at a fair price. We needed AC and decided to replace our old furnace at the same time. In addition Duke wrapped with insulating bubble wrap our old ducts that were exposed. He tied the drip line into our existing downspout in a neat fashion. I'd highly recommend him (he's a fellow submarine vet too!!).

Great. They contacted me right away. It wasn't an emergency but Iti was cold, so they still came first thing on the first business day. The technician explained what he was doing and why the prior repair done by somebody else probably failed. The rate was reasonable. It's been a couple of days and it seems the furnace is working, so everything good so far.

He will come this Friday between 11am and 2pm (my choice). Duke always answers his phone and is very pleasant. I will find out this Friday.

Duke was terrific. He was able to come within a couple of days of my first calling him. He got to my house on time, had all of the parts on his truck, and did the needed work efficiently and effectively. I'm so grateful to him!

This is the first time they've done work for me. The work was good. They came and they did it.

The tenant called him a couple of months ago for something he had one previously, but because he's a good guy, and we had done something six months ago that was very expensive, whatever went wrong this time he just must've fixed. The tenant said she was going to call us back to let us know he fixed it, and there was no contact again, so I'm assuming everything was fine. Our tenant just knows to call him if it's anything to do with heating and air conditioning. He usually does a perfect job and works with you if something goes awry to make sure it's right. I would use him again. He is right there.

Duke did a great job explaining and pricing out our options. Installation was on-time and professional. Price was competitive.

Fair service on my furnace. The thing I am concerned is I was overcharged with the Thermostat they installed. I paid $145.00 for a thermostat costing $85.00. I checked price from other businesses to see how much the same Thermostat cost. Also, found out after they left that the name of their business is inscribed in the thermostat they installed. It should even be discounted since they are using the thermostat to advertise their business. This is taking advantage of innocent people like me. Won't use them again.

There was no coolant in the unit so that's why it wasn't working. That's why no cool air was coming out of it. I had just purchased my home and I had just moved in and when it got warm, I had started using the air conditioning. I don't know who's responsibility but he was able to put coolant in and it's been fine. That's all I can tell you. It was covered by the insurance company. I did have to pay a little bit but I can't remember exactly. I would have to look it up in my records. He was super. He was just super and I would use him again. I might use him for my routine maintenance just to make sure everything is running properly before anything happens. It took less than an hour. I had a problem with the air conditioning and he contacted me through the insurance company and I was very pleased with the service. As a matter of fact, the agent who had sold the property to me was here because we were trying to work out the insurance details. He actually asked for his card, he asked for Duke's card because he really liked the way he handled the whole service call. So, he probably will use him again. I can't speak for him but he was really great.

They were very professional. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. They were helpful when it came to any questions we had. Everything about them was great.

I decided to go with another company because the other company does the paperwork for rebates for Energy Upgrade through BayREN. I didn't want to have to hassle with that so chose other company out of convenience, but I think Duke would have done a great job if I had hired him.

Duke came to diagnose the problem and ordered the part and returned and installed it the next day. By the way Duke wore booties so he wouldn't tramp in the rain into the house.

It went well. I think a Senior discount would appeal to a lot of people who could use the service that Duke's provides. It would have been helpful if Duke had asked me in advance if I was a member of Angie's list . The technician was not able to get authorization to allow for the use of the coupon that I printed for use. I will be better prepared next time. Customer service is very important to me.

Really well. Duke actually arrived early after calling asking if it was okay to do so. He quickly assessed the problem and fixed it. Even put my furnace back together from the previous hack work from the company that looked at it before. Very friendly, professional, reasonable price.

Of all the people I've had work on my home renovation in the last year, these guys were my favorite. Prompt, professional, honest, and reliable. When Duke came to give us the estimate, my 2 year old daughter wanted to give him a hug before he left which is unprecedented. That pretty much sealed the deal for us. They were also far and away the most reasonable quote we got. Even a friend quoted us $1500 more for less work. The installers were on time and knew their stuff. The install work is top notch as well. Everything in place and looks well put together. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC work.

Found that my AC just stop working. Called Duke and got the schedule 2days later. on that day, Duke is really on time, arrived my home within the time slot we set. He is really professional and handful; quickly checked that there is a broken capacitor. Replaced the unit in 10mins; and the AC back on-line! Also check the refrigetor liquid for me. Overall, really satisfied with his service. Defnitelly, will continue choose him in the future.
