The experience was fantastic. I requested a quote from their website after finding them on Angie's List. They got back to me pretty quickly and gave me a reasonable offer. They gave me a discount because I was having multiple fans installed. They gave us a convenient time in the morning.

DEC worked with our schedule to perform work. Installer, Justin, had to bring power from 2nd floor to run new ceiling fan in the 1st floor family room. His experience showed when he explained his approach to the job to get desired results. Work was performed quickly and professionally. Very happy with results. Would not hesitate to recommend to family or friends.

Solar systems are expensive. Likewise, they are long term investments with warranty periods of 20 years. It was my view that the company installing this expensive equipment needed to be professionals. Highest quality for the lowest price was the objective my installation. My objectives were exceeded with DEC. DEC has installed solar panels at three different homes under one contract for me. Each job was fairly difficult in both logistics and complexity. Two involved panel replacement, one involved running new power from SDGE. In all cases, John Large and the DEC team demonstrated great care and diligence in their work. One measure of companies quality is their ability to adapt to problems found on the job site (there will always be issues!). Whether it be problem-some inspectors or material shortages, DEC responded professionally and dependably to insure the job was completed right. Their responses to obstacles were consistently Customer satisfaction-centric. A real pleasure to work with. I would contract them again for another job without hesitation.

We just recently had our house's interior, new shutters installed, and one Dustry,, hardwood and new carpeting . I decided that we should also update the switches and plugs installed. John and is partner, Rudy, were the best! they showed up at the designated time and in just a couple of hours, we had brand new Decora installed everywhere. they really make the house look "pulled together." They didn't leave any mess and were super professional. they even wore plastic booties over their workboots. I would have no qualms about recommending them or using them again. Brenda, in the office deserves recognition as well. She is also very professional - and has a great sense of humor! I had to make a couple of schedule changes and she was great would working with They even found and fixed a potential fire hazard. Great guys and a job well done! .

Justin came at the scheduled time and made short work of replacing the alarms. The day after they were installed, I got a couple of false alarms and the lights on the alarms went from green to red. I called the company and they sent Justin back out to fix things. The old alarms had been installed when the house was built and I guess the wiring wasn't quite right. Everything has been fine since. I appreciated their responsiveness in coming right back out to fix things.

We originally used DEC because of an Angie's discount coupon in order to install two ceiling fans. They were prompt, professional and cleaned-up after they completed the work. The work crew which consisted of an electrician and his helper arrived on time, did not waste time, and were polite and professional. We were so pleased with their performance we hired them again to install four other ceiling fans. The second time we employed them they were equally professional. We were very pleased with their positive attitude, no-nonsense professionalism, and their more than expected attention to details and clean-up. We would recommend them with enthusiasm.

The installer, Justin, was clean, polite and professional. He phoned to advise us that he would be about 30 minutes early for our appointment since his earlier installation was accomplished ahead of schedule. When the installation was complete, Justin vacuumed his work area to assure that any debris that may have escaped the drop cloth he'd placed would be picked up. He then instructed us on the operation of the fans and left us with written instruction as well. The weather temperature has been in the high 80 to mid 90 range. We are amazed at how well our 1,735' condo cooled off after the very first night of the whole house fan usage! Our daughter and son-in-law had a three fan system installed in their home, which is almost twice the size of ours, a couple of months ago and are also very pleased. Their cooling bill has been reduced to less than half of what it would normally be. The fans are paying for themselves! We would not hesitate to recommend the Quiet Cool Fan or Direct Electric Company (951) 200-5262, who did the delivery and installation. We reside in San Pedro, our daughter and her family are in Temecula, so DEC provides service to a wide area.

Their price was adequate. I wasn't very impressed with them. They came out right away, I called them that I needed some work done and I believe it took about 5 phone calls before I finally started to get some major replies to set a date, their punctuality in trying to making appointment was actually hard. It worked that when it finally got done, the guys just came out and put it. They were here for almost an hour and I just paid them and they left, they didn't leave me with any paperwork except for a receipt, nothing on the attic fan and after it was all said and done, the electrical didn't work after a week and the attic fans wasn't working appropriately. So I called back and talk to one of the owners, he was very punctual actually, he came back down and fixed those problems but originally the work was horrible, nothing worked. The owner did come out and fixed the problem but the original installers didn't really do their job.

The company was a little slow in returning voicemail left after hours but I was able to reach a live person every time I phoned them during business hours. Everyone at DEC was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about the product. The install team showed up on time, was very attentive to detail and made sure the job was done right and neat. After finishing they cleaned and vacuumed every part of the house they touched. DEC wasn't the least expensive bid but these guys were pros from start to finish. The few extra dollars were worth it and we are already planning on having them come back to install some lighting in our master bedroom.

I very much enjoyed doing business with Direct Electric Company. I contacted them through Angie's List. This was on a Saturday. They called me the next day. Yes Sunday. Justin met with me at the house after work. He was on time and professional. We scheduled the job and Justin and Chris were on time. worked hard all day, and were very professional. They returned on their own, the next day, to complete the work. The quality of the work has been excellent. To this day, we have not had any problem with the work they did.

Direct Electric came out to fix our A/C units that kept tripping. They quickly figured out the problem and had it fixed right away. We asked them about the whole house fan systems that we saw on their website. They gave us a couple of quotes for different levels of systems and a quote for installing extra outlets in our backyard. The prices were very reasonable and they came out the next day and finished all of the work in a few hours. We will definitely be using them again!

Needed an electrician to put in two Junction boxes for hanging lights on each side of our bed with dimmers and also needed four recessed lights with dimmer switch in my husbands home office.I contacted three others that people referred me to and either never heard back or was ridiculously priced. So I returned to Angies List which I should have just done in the first place and found DEC (Direct Electric Company) in our area. Gave me a quote over the phone and wanted to come out the next day but we had plans until the next week. Scheduled them the earliest we could and they were prompt and professional. By professional we mean SUPER professional!! We've never never had contractors that were so very conscientious about being neat and cleaning up after they completed the work. The work was done beautifully and precise and in a timely manner. Plan on using them again in a few months for extra outlets and other things. Would highly recommend to anyone!!

they explained wiring of circuits and reason for lighting failure (s).

We are remodeling our kitchen and called them when our regular electrician never responded. They were able to come on a few days notice and did an excellent job. There price was good compared to other quotes and they did a fantastic job. We weren't sure about where the can lights should go in the ceiling or about the color, but they installed the perfect lights. They also installed GFIs, ran a new circuit for the microwave, installed new outlets for other lights, switches, and moved some outlets. Very professional and made very few new holes in the drywall.

Direct Electric was wonderful to work with. They took the time to answer all my questions about whole house fans and which one(s) would be best for our situation. Once we made our decision, they were able to quickly schedule our installation. They arrived on time and finished early. Before leaving they cleaned up every last scrap of dust and drywall. The only way I could tell they had been in my house was that I now had three new whole house fans! They explained how the fans worked and gave me advice about how to best utilize them for our living situation. We couldn't be more pleased with the final result and will definitely use Direct Electric again.

Firstly, we had printed out a coupon of 10% off. Yet were told that we weren't able to use it because they did troubleshooting instead of just "labor." Which in my mind, if you're a new homeowner, then that can be a response to any service job. Secondly, they didn't remember the job that I had requested. I was specific during my request call (outdoor lighting, an un-grounded outlet located in upstairs foyer, and an outlet in the family room). Because they were ready to pack up before finishing my original request, they had to do one more outlet that pushed them to 1:05 of work time (from first stepping through the door and stepping out to write-up the receipt). Because of the 5 minutes over, they charge me for a full two hours of work.

ON ALL OCCASIONS THEY DID VERY WELL. WERE ON TIME AND PROFESSIONAL

I found him through google and I took 3 quotes from different contractors. He gave me the best value. The price was fair and the work was fantastic. He is coming back to do more work for me.

When I set the appointment they talked me through which whole house fans would work best for my property. They followed up with me about the appointment and let me know that their crew would be arriving earlier than scheduled. The day of the install they called when they were 25 minutes away to keep me posted. The installation was a compromise of where I wanted the fan grates and were they could actually place them based on numerous factors which they explained clearly to me. Crew was done in short order, explained how the WHFs worked walked me through the controls, and cleaned up well behind themselves.
