Direct Electric Company

Came out the next morning and checked out the electrical outlets. The problem was we plugged in a coffee grinder and the cord flamed out. The electrician came out the next morning, because he knew this could be a big problem. After checking all the outlets on the circuit, determined it was an old, 30 year old coffee grinder. Our mind was at rest.

They were to arrive assess the job and give me a "Quote! They arrived entered the property without calling me 1st told the client that I sent them and that the bid would be a certain price and started the work with the out calling me phoning me leaving me a message texting me or talking to me at all they were higher than any other bid I got I would not have hired them. My client scrolled me saying I should talk to him first!

I did not expect someone who had resigned to come and work on my Panel. The worker did not care what he did as It was his last day on the job . He was already in a bad mood since He did not have any helper to do the Panel upgrade. Company was not willing to give any monitory compensation for delay and lack of service. I had to hire my own Electrician to make sure Panel was done right. There were short coming which I brought to the attention of the Company but they were not willing to offer compensation for full filling their commitment in a timely manner.

Excellent. Person arrived on time and was done within the time frame he gave us.

As other reviews have stated the office staff is not responsive. I called on February 1st and was told the estimator was not available and I would receive a return call. I waited 8 days without a call so I called again. The receptionist "Candice" was able to find my information but did not offer any explanation as to why nobody called. She said that they could have somebody out this afternoon and that it would be $185 for 2 hours of troubleshooting and any repair so I agreed. I mentioned Angie's List and the coupon on the page that was for electrical - $20 off service of $150 or more. She told me it was an old coupon for solar. I explained it said electrical then she said it was expired so I told her there was no date on it. Finally she said they were not part of Angie's List anymore and that they would not honor the coupon. Kylar and Keith were the 2 technicians who came. Kylar called ahead and told me when they expected to be here. They were punctual and friendly. They determined that it was not the breaker but that there was a short in one of the wires leading to the breaker. Unfortunately they were not able to determine where the wire ran so they just disconnected the wire that was causing the breaker to trip. (In their defense I had not been able to find any plugs or switches that were not working since the breaker had tripped). They handled the other issue quickly as well. I was happy Keith and Kylar but disappointed in the poor response from the office staff and the refusal to honor the coupon.

They were great! Showed up early explained everything & finished quickly. They were moved the switch location based on our preference.

Was late but called to say they were 1/2 late installers were polite and professional, very clean work.

We used Direct Electric before and been very satisfied with them. This was the first time that we did not get called back right away and had to call multiple times just to get called back. They usually do charge a bit more than most companies, but they do really great work. Justin the installer is always great to work with. We will try them again next time and hopefully the responsiveness was a one time thing.

They were professionals in the entire process. They let me know what they were doing every step of the way.

Guys showed up on time and were super friendly. I was able to watch and learn and they didn't mind teaching me a little something. Guys worked quickly, cleaned up any mess, and patched any area they had to open up to access. Will use again for future electrical wiring jobs coming up.

They were on time, their prices were good and their work was excellent, we were very happy with their service.

They did everything for us. Design, permitting, installation. John answered all of my good and not so good questions. We have already recommended them to friends and family.

GOT HERE AND REMOVED FAN FROM BOXES,, PUT THEM TOGETHER, THE FANS AND LIGHTS INSTALLED THEM IN. THEY INSTALLED THEM, AND WAS GONE IN 20 MINUTES. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN ANYTIME!

awesome fast and affordable

The install was good. Quick and effecient. The problem I had was with the job manager . I was quoted $179 to install fans.. The small print is where the additional fees catch you. Just because the fans were to be installed in a ground floor room, the price shot up. The other fan was installed upstairs... So, you mean to tell me it's going to take an additional $190 dollars to install a downstairs ceiling fan.. Total scam. The total went from a $179 for 2 fans install $380 to get 2 fans installed. Will never use these people ever again.
