Description of Work: Chris has been terrific in helping me complete many projects around the house from exterior work such as building & welding my home's decorative metal gate system and my pool deck's wooden seating area to interior work such as installing crown molding to bathroom tiling. Chris is always mindful of cost and performs the work in a timely fashion.

Description of Work: I purchased a bathroom remodel but knew I would need much more done than the angies list deal provided. I worked with Chris to make my ugly and awkward master bath into a functional, pretty bathroom. Some items had to be custom made, moved, etc. And it was all worked out.

Description of Work: I worked with Chris, Bruno and Lupe form this company. They did an excellent job and I would recommend them without hesitation. They did a combo of outside work and more complex inside work. Outside, I had some trellis beams replaced (not simple as they were supporting a large, heavy vine) and had a wall of a pool equipment room replaced/built. Both turned out exactly as I'd hoped. Inside, I had a broken door jamb replaced and a broken board on a stair tread fixed/replaced. The stair required matching to the existing stain, and the result was good. The door jamb is now totally fixed, functional and secure. So, the work was excellent and was completed within the stated time-frame. Everyone who worked here was friendly, punctual, and very skilled at their craft. These projects had been bugging me for a while now, and Carpenter Chris and the team just knocked them out in a few days at a very reasonable price. I thank them for their work!

Description of Work: Contractor never contacted us regarding the project. In reviewing the project the stated cost was not even close to what it really would cost to complete the job. Also the material configuration (10"x10"x30") cabinets was at best a joke - ever try putting pots and pans in this size cabinet? I thought not!

Description of Work: Chris went above and beyond with his work on our home I was so impressed and appreciative of his stellar work on re-routing a joist beam in our attic and was awesome to work with and communicate with. We liked his work so much we already have 3 other projects set up and scheduled with Chris to work on.

+ 3 moreOverall CarpenterChris was not the cheapest of bids we got but he offered much more hands on in working with us and helping to keep us involved in the project and help use to design our projects at a price we could work with. We had lots of custom cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom that his team built out of high quality material (not partial board, like everyone else seems to use) and amazing cabinets doors that was stained to match some existing cabinets we had in the house. Which no one less could do!! We had him install a flush level entry custom shower. With no curb, shower pan and floor on the same level, supper cool!! So pretty! And heated floor. So many details involved but overall we are super happy! The only thing is that the countertops took longer then planned to be installed, otherwise they look great!
Description of Work: A beautiful kitchen and bathroom remodel with custom cabinets, stain match for cabinet doors in bath and kitchen, tile, custom flush level entry shower, 3/4 copper water lines for multi shower heads and greater water pressure.

+ 3 moreHe did an outstanding job on my kitchen. This was a total remodel. He set up barriers to hold the dust down during demolition and put in all new cabinets. I wanted the cabinets to stay in the side pantry area so he refinished them to match the color of the new cabinets. It all matches and I am very happy with them. They put in granite counters and the sink and faucets. I had him build a breakfast counter with the same granite and it came out looking great! I had the tile backsplash and tile floor done as well. I appreciate the fact he can do all the jobs, the tile, carpentry,plumbing, electric without my having to worry about anything. One of the other contractors i interviewed wanted me to get rid of all the trash and construction debris and would charge more if they day to take it away. Chris included that in the price right from the start. Overall i am very happy with them. Oh, and they were always there when they said they would be and Chris who is the contractor was there every day.
Description of Work: He remodeled my kitchen in La Quinta and prior to that both bathrooms in my Burbank home.

+ 2 moreBoth projects went very well and completed on time. Crown Molding: With all the complex cuts required to accomplish this job, I'm glad it was Chris and not me doing it. He made it look easy and the finished look is great. Chris showed a really nice attention to detail. The custom corner L-bench Chris built works great and has held up well to the outdoors. It was built from 2x6, with 4x6 legs and measures approx 10' x 8' x 30" tall. The sections of deck that Chris repaired also looked great (I wish I had Chris originally build the deck!) Although this review is listed for the Los Angeles area, Chris traveled to Pahrump, Nevada to do this work for me, so he is willing to travel if needed. I fully recommend CarpenterChris for your carpentry, finish work, or remodel needs.
Description of Work: Chris built a custom corner L-bench with slanted backrest for my pool deck seating area, repaired sections of my pool deck stairs, and installed my living room crown molding.

A perfectionist in every detail. He is efficient, cooperative and honest. We feel fortunate to have connected with him. I would recommend Chris for any and all remodels, repairs, carpentry, tile and electrical work and much more. He is the best!
Description of Work: Our hot water heater burst. Heater had to be removed and all drywall taken out and replaced. New walls and floor were put in. Chris saved us several thousands of dollars. All work was done in an efficient and timely manner. He lifted the air-conditioning unit instead of having to have it totally removed and installed new drywall and floor. Re-connected the hot water heater and vents. He cleaned the entire area upon completion.

Description of Work: It's been a long time since I met anyone doing work for me that brought the professionalism that Chris brought to my projects here at my ranch. He is an excellent carpenter and made a simple wood fence look like a work of art. He also built a deck with a roof for my guest house, and my guests are blown away with the look and quality of this. He was always on time, efficient, listened to what I wanted and gave me so much more. I actually gave him a bonus when he was done, because I felt like I got so much more than I paid for. This young man is a hot carpenter, honest, hard working, and his furniture is out of this world, too!
