First off there are A LOT of electrician's and electric companies out there and plenty with good reviews on A's List. I wanted to find someone who was local and send my business his way. Keep small businesses healthy! It was a very pleasant experience. Keith the owner came over to give me an estimate on the work I wanted/needed to get done. He gave me several options and was willing to work within my budget--no pressure to do everything right away. The two men who work for him were great. I was there the whole time watching and asking questions and they were more than happy to take the time with me. I will definitely call on Keith and his guys to come back when I need more work done.

This company did a great job. The electrical work was completed as discussed in the estimate. Keith was very upfront about potential cost increases that might arise in completing the work (though we didn't get close to the upper limit of these extras.) They were done ahead of schedule. In the process, Keith suggested something else we might want to have added; it was a smart suggestion and I'm glad we followed his advice. They swept up after completing the work.

We were very happy. They showed up when they said they were going to show up. They worked until they were done and they cleaned up their work afterwards. They were reasonable. It was a positive experience. They were here right away. They were very communicative. They called in the morning and said what time they were going to be here. They showed up within 5 minutes of when they said they were going to show up.

We would never use anyone else. Keith and his guys are professional, honest and fair. We've used them several times before and trust that they will do an excellent job--which they have! Our electrical is quite complicated--it seems Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck wired the house back when it was built in 1951. We've since upgraded, but because of the flat roof and no crawl space or attic, it takes some thought. Price wise Keith is always fair--he doesn't overcharge unnecessarily. I highly recommend him.

They were half the price of the company I was using before them and they are very reliable. All the electricians that have come have been super friendly.

Everything went very well. they arrived on time, the work was done quickly and cleanly. One of the outlet was misplaced, but they came promptly, without question, to correct it at no cost. Great work. Will definitely use them again, as more work is coming down the line.

Keith came out and after extensively looking the house over, gave me 3 different options on how to proceed. I was very impressed with his honesty and interest in doing what I wanted. His crew came out and did a terrific job of doing the project as well as any other "things" that would pop up. I was always contacted and walked through what was encountered. I am very happy with the job and would use Keith again in a heartbeat.

We had two salvaged street lamps lighting our parking area. At some point, a short developed and the lamps were not usable. We called Johnson's, and they came out to survey the situation. While troubleshooting, they disconnected the interior switch from its power source, so we would not trip the breaker again. They gave an estimate for running new conduit to the lights, stating it would be less expensive then trying to find the existing conduit and repair the damage. We agreed. They came on the agreed upon date and ran the new underground conduit and wired up and installed new fixtures with dusk-to-dawn sensors. That night we had light. It was a job well done, on time and on budget.

It went well. At first, I felt the person scheduling didn't want to commit to a time. They seemed a little bit vague about picking out a date and time, but I was persistent because of my busy schedule.

We bought a house in Pasadena that had all sorts of issues, the electrical being something that needed to be fixed right away. The house had its original wiring and 6 outlets. It was a two story home powered by a 60 amp panel. Great in the 1930's. Not so great in 2011. Keith came out and looked at the electrical. He said it would be like rewiring a brand new house. He was punctual, honest and very fair. We ended up walking away from the house, but we found another home which needs someone to finish updating the wiring. I was impressed by Keith's honesty, that I will be calling him.

Electricity went out on a part of my condo so I called Johnson Electrical based on Angie's List review and close proximity to my place. A technician (forgot his name) arrived in 1 hour as promised on time. I thought the circuit breaker fuse blew but turns out it was just one of the outlets that burned out. He tested all the outlets, switched out the problematic one and figured out why another outlet that has not been working well. Overall a good experience and although we could have fixed the problem ourselves (all in hindsight), it felt more assuring to have a professional take care of it.

They were fast and professional. They gave us a quote for the job, and then prices for anything extra that we wanted. They were in and out in 2 days! My husband, who did electrical work in NY, was impressed. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

They seemed to be very knowledgeable and very courteous and I was very happy with the work. I would definitely recommend them. They knew what they were doing.

I am pretty sure I got them off the list. I probably spent about $2000 with them. I think that the team was great. They knew what they were doing and were clean. They spent a lot of time in the house, but were very courteous with my family and just overall they had some quality people who I would enjoy using again and certainly would recommend to others. The thing I liked about them is that it is a fixed rate, so I know what I am going to get exactly before they start. Sometimes it is a little more if it is something not very simple, but overall I know what I am going to get, it is good a value and they do good work. I had an experience with them where they installed a whole series of lighting in one room and through incandescent lightings. The next day I did not like it, so I had them come back and take everything out and they worked with me on the price and replaced everything with the fixtures that I wanted.

They are fast and professional. So far the work which they are doing is good. I would use them again in future.

i phoned the electrician early in the morning after half my electricity blew out late at night. He promised a worker by 10 am. He came and ten, did the work promptly and described what he had done. I paid him and he left. The whole thing took less than an hour.

I could not have been more pleased!!!!!!! I am thankful for this company.

I called Johnson Electric because my bathroom outlets were not working and the fuse box did not indicate a problem. After asking me some troubleshooting questions, Keith asked me if I had pushed the reset button on the electrical outlets. Since only one of the three outlets had a reset button and none of the outlets were working, I had not thought could be the problem. He instructed me to push the reset button on the one because ofttimes several outlets are connected, and, voila, problem solved without a visit. Keith was very helpful and professional over the telephone and I would contact him again if I encounter any electrical problems.

I bought a house that was built in 1910 and still had the old wiring. Keith Johnson came over, inspected the house and took the time then to give me the estimate. He came the first day with the workers but after that they came on their own. The specific costs for doing anything beyond the original work order were clear. I did add some new outlets, circuits, and switches but it was clear from the beginning how much anything besides the rewiring would cost. He did make some suggestions, a new circuit for air conditioner, for example, but was never pushy. Mr. Johnson would also call me regularly to see if I had any questions or concerns. The workers were great, very polite and friendly. They had to make a lot of holes to get rid of the old wiring later the plasterer commented on how small and clean the holes were. They restored old lights that I didn't even know I had, like these cool odd lights that were part of the old bathroom cabinet.

The worker arrived on time and replaced the equipment as requested, however he did not check to see if the thermostat was operational. When I got home the AC/heater did not function. I worked with the settings for several hours before calling the company. When I called, all they could offer was to replace it with my old thermostat. I was disappointed that he didn't confirm that this thermostat would work and that he didn't even confirm that the system was operational before he left. They sent another technician out two days later and replaced the new (non-operational) themostat with the old one.

Everything went perfect. I called for the short problem, but he fixed other problems quickly and efficiently, gave me advice (without pressuring me to buy anything) about other needs i may have, wore "booties" to keep my house clean, professional, respectful. Great job.
