JOHNSON ELECTRIC

I was in need of service now as my electrical service was intermittently going out. He came out the next day agreed on the problem and the solution which was replace my 100 amp service with a 200 amp service. Foolishly, I waited an extra day to start trying get another estimate. After I told him he had the job he started the next day getting the city permit, and within two and a half days he started and finished the job. His workers were on time. They were courteous, neat and efficient. They were very good and making sure the two rails were divided so that the refrigerator and other heavy use appliances were on one side and computer and other such appliances were on the other. They were on time, courteous, and neat. The price was right and I highly recommend his service.

He disappeared in the middle of the job and I had to hire somebody else. I finally got ahold of him after a week of trying but he put me on hold for about 10 minutes so I just hung up. The job was mostly done, but he didn't finish it. The work that was done was good quality.

They showed up at 9:15 (told me it would be "9 or 10"). I had my dimmer purchased and light fixture assembled ahead of time so that helped it go smoothly. They communicated well with me (and in a timely manner) about anticipated problems, what they needed, and different ways to tackle the kitchen issue. They knicked up the paint here and there around the wall plates (and needed to punch some holes in the wall) but that's why I scheduled the job while I have a painter on the payroll. The whole thing took a little over 3.5 hours. I paid them for 4.

When I scheduled the appointment the person was friendly and helpful. The man who came to do the work was courteous and efficient. The only issue I had with him is that it seemed his English skills were quite limited. I would have preferred that I could speak to him more easily. That said, he did a good job, was punctual, and cleaned up the work area nicely.

Got appointment for the same day. Showed up 10 minutes early. Fixed problem quickly. Even gave me good quotes on several other projects for the future.

Arranging the appointment and getting an estimate involved a 3 minute phone call. The workman showed up on time and got the job done in a couple hours. He showed me what he did, and how to check that the new smoke detectors were functioning (which was important because you can only see the green light when standing directly under the detector). Have had no problems since with the breaker they replaced.

The electricians were on time. They talked to me about what they found. They called their supervisor for input. They had to leave for materials but returned quickly. Before they left I had them estimate additional work which I will do with Johnson Electric.

It went excellent! They are also very reasonably priced. I will be having them back to rewire the garage for me!

I felt that the price was reasonable. The workers did not speak English so had a hard time communicating with them. They acted like they were not knowledgeable what they were doing as they drilled holes where they shouldn't have. This made the tenants very unhappy. The owner was bullish in making payments even before the job was done. But this company is excellent when smaller jobs have to be done. I use him all the time for that.

They were tidy and efficient... I got exactly what I paid for!

We really enjoyed them. We have used them on multiple accounts since our first experience and have been pleased with every visit. They are very efficient, they clean up well, and they always show up on time.

The workers, Carlos and Ysidro, arrived before the scheduled time and worked quickly both as a team and separately. They did troubleshooting and made suggestions where appropriate which saved some installation costs. Both are friendly and knowledgeable. We would definitely use them again.

The electricians were booked the next business morning; they arrived on time, and finished the job on time.

The service charge was $15.00 cheaper than the other estimates. They sent out two people right away and were very professional. They found and fixed the problem and gave me a great deal. I would use them again in a heart beat.

They were excellent. They were very reasonably priced. I would recommend them to others. I have absolutely no complaints. They came and did their job.

Pedro showed up and did all the work himself. I had to carefully explain that wanted the new ceiling fan to be flush-mounted instead of a standard mount. He was careful and did exactly what I asked him. I was charged 2.5 hours labor work at $75 an hour.

They were prompt, polite and fixed everything easily and neatly.

They got A's in all categories. They are professional and prompt.

We called this morning to have an outlet installed. The guys came over within a couple of hours and the work was done. They even fixed up the cord of the antique clock I meant to plug into the new outlet. They were, as always, friendly, pleasant, and professional.

I called to have a ceiling fan I purchased from a home improvement store assembled and installed. I left a message in the morning and was called back that afternoon and scheduled an appointment for the following morning between 8 and 9 A.M. I was told it would be between $75 - $100. Two guys arrived at about 8:45 and were very professional, went right to work, and finished up at about 9:30. They charged me $90.

They arrived on time, both workers were very polite and hard working, Spanish speaking but one of the workers spoke English quite well, and the thing that really impressed me, none of the other electricians that I had at the house could figure out why the vent fan stopped working. The problem was that the switch nearest to the stove needed to be in the on position in order for the vent fan to operate. That saved me hundreds of dollars. They cleaned up after themselves.

I'm pretty happy with these guys. They're not the most polished; the morning of our first appointment I called the office and heard "um, we have an appointment today???" and they keep getting our address wrong, but they are nice guys and if they're late, they call, and they do a good job for a good price. I ended up using them the first time because the guy I liked better was busy, but now I think I'm going to stick with them because I trust them and they don't charge too much. They're also nice about taking a look at whatever you have going on to see whether it's really a problem or something you can fix yourself. No high pressure sales tactics. Oh, and the light works now.

We called Keith based on the reviews in Angie's List and, boy, are we glad we did. We also received a bid from another highly rated electrician on Angie's List and, although they also seemed great, Keith's bid was about 10%-15% less which is probably about the same as the overhead of the other guy (nice printed shirts, clipboards, etc.). The comments on Angie's List swayed us (along with the price) and we set an appointment. From the beginning everything was great. Miguel and Pedro were exceptional and if I were to use Johnson Electric again, I'd request that they do the work. I will say that you need to be as specific as possible. They aren't there to give you advice, but to do the work and get it done. So although there are a couple of outlets in areas that aren't as aesthetically placed as I'd like, that is entirely my fault for not giving better direction. In short, they were great. It was a very good experience and we would HIGHLY recommend Johnson Electric!

Left a message on the machine, no one live to answer, heard back the next day. They were able to schedule around my needs, showed up on time. Initially, I thought that we would just turn a duplex into a quad plug, but it was a good idea to run a new circuit, although it was more costly than I originally thought it would be. They quoted 350 for a new circuit before I approved the work, and it took them a few hours to complete the job. The work was well done, they cleaned up, and I plan to have them back another day for a few more projects. Overall, a good experience.

Extremely well. The owner had come out to give me an estimate over a year ago. I never got around to having them come out until now. When I called, the owner was able to find the original estimate (I lost mine!) and stuck to it. The workers were on time and neat, and worked to make sure that they got everything right. They cleaned up after themselves beautifully. Even better, while they were working in the house, I had to put my son down for a nap. When they found out, they worked extremely quietly, and when finished, tip-toed out of the house. I really appreciated their attention to detail. The price was very reasonable, too.
