Switched Electric

My experience turned out pretty good. They were thorough. Scheduling an appointment was pretty easy.

They came out and did the inspection as promised, the technician seemed pretty knowledgeable, and the company responded quickly when I called to schedule. Unfortunately, they never followed up with me about replacing my sub-panel.

Quickly and accurately done. I originally had wanted flush mount but was advised that stucco might crack so went with non flush mount. Liked the outlet so asked to have another installed at same time. Have had lots of other work done with this vendor and always pleased with responsiveness and quality of work.

It was great. It was real good. We really had no idea what switch was controlling exactly which plugs. They were very thorough. They gave us a really detailed report. They're very good. They're very professional.

They were responsive and everything but I misunderstood what the deal was for. The quote was too much for the work I was wanting to get done so I didn't use it.

They were really professional and really great but we did not go with them because we were able to find somebody who was cheaper. Their estimate for wiring our outdoor office was like $5000.

The representative was punctual, attentive to my needs. He completed a very thorough inspection of all electric wiring & appliances. Including main fuse box, sockets, switches & wiring. The only problem at all was the final estimate. In the home the representative mentioned that he had completed an entire home two or three times the size of my home of replacing the main fuse box & all rewiring of about $30,000.00. Then he proceeded to send me an estimate for about the same price. I had expected half the cost.

Only gave me a verbal explanation, even after I requested a written explanation.

They said at first that they couldn't perform the service due to not having an outlet on the back side of the house. We found one, and then they couldn't do it because it didn't have a ground. My other electrician was able to do the same thing for only $250, so this wasn't a deal at all. He was at least nice and courteous.

They are very expensive! They did the Big Deal service and that was fine. They did try to up sell a projected I needed that I later complteted with the help of a handyman complete for about $100 vs the thousands they wanted.

Switched owner and a worker seemed very knowledgeable and professional. Bid was submitted immediately. Until I met with one more electrician who was able to offer a little more, Switched would have been my choice to do the work.

Each person we dealt with (Seth, Nathan, Sharon) were beyond professional. Friendly, attentive, helpful, willing to work around our schedule and needs. Everything was done on time and clearly well done. When I made a change, it was no problem to get it added in. This is how a company should be run. I do not know if they were the lowest price, and frankly, that became secondary given the level of service provided.

I wasnt able to use the deal because it was for a different market area. They were very nice and communication was great. I would have loved to have them complete the work.

Called to get bid.Within afew days they came , gave bid,and time to be done. Showed up within a week to do .Did a very good job very happy with result

Seth accommodated my work schedule, which was a great help to me. He met me at the house, checked everything and made his diagnosis. The price was fair, less than I had in mind by a few dollars. He is a super nice human being and has great 'people' skills. He also made friends with my dog, who is a faultless judge of character. All in all a pleasant experience. I will certainly use 'Switched' in the future if the need arises.

In October, the owner of Switched, Seth came out to look at them and promised to repair them all. Since then after repeated calls, texts and Angie's List messages we have not been able to get a response from Switched. Complete blackness. Will now need to pay another provider to re-do the work done by Switched. Unfortunate because they were rated an A for the first set of interactions.

Seth bid the job from only phone calls and photos. He provided two bids based on the kind of circuit breaker technology to be used and was flexible in offering to back off to the lower bid if there were problems with the more expensive devices. His price initially seemed a little high, but I was impressed with his understanding of the job, and in retrospect the bid was reasonable. He was very knowledgeable about permitting requirements and new AFCI breaker technology. The job was done over two days. Communication was excellent, with confirmations the nights before the work would start and clear explanations of exactly what would need to be done. Seth showed up right on time and did very complete and neat work. He even did a few little extra things at no additional cost. The county inspector signed it off immediately. I couldn't have asked for more or better. Highly recommended.

I accidentally ordered this Big Deal for the wrong City. They were very nice to refund my purchase and had a great sense of humor.

He was professional and on time. He did the work that we talked about. He was polite. He cleaned up after himself. I felt comfortable with him in the home while my children were there. They also sent out a thank you note and the receptionist on the phone was a delight to work with.

It was a very thorough job and during the inspection he found out a lot of things that I was not concerned about and he repaired all those problems and walked me through all them,showed me exactly what was going on and he really conducted hi self in a good way and kind of upgraded my electrical s especially in the kitchen where I had done renovation. The price was very good. When he said he was going to be here, he was here.

Nathan came out when I first contacted Switched to look over the tasks, make recommendations, and provide an estimate. He was punctual and professional, going over the various options before providing the estimate. After accepting the estimate the work was scheduled. Nathan showed up at the specified time and went to work. He moved the outlet and removed the old box in the wall, as we discussed. He then cleaned up the area, even using moist towelettes to wipe the dry wall dust up off the wall. Once done with that task he proceeded to work on the new light installation. After assessing the current wiring he consulted with me on the placement, then went to work. Once the fixture was up he worked with me on adjusting the direction and sensitivity. When the adjustments were tweaked and the light working, he weather caulked around the fixture and cleaned up so that you would not know someone had just cut through stucco in the area.

The electrician came and showed my wife the problem in the panel that had caused us to lose power in the sun room. He was professional, on-time, and knowledgable.

Fine. Prompt and courteous. More extensive service delayed due to outside factors but no issues with them.
