Description of Work: I contracted with Switched Electric twice this past Spring: once as a board member to fix a common-area electrical problem at our condominium and once as an owner to upgrade some hardware in my own unit. Working with Seth was a pleasant experience. He was punctual, polite, knowledgeable, and easy going. The quality of the work was top-notch. We will definitely look to Switched for future projects.

Description of Work: Installed attic fan. No problems. Fast, efficient service with no mess and thorough follow up.

Description of Work: Fixed sparking problem in a junction box & changed out electrical box. Put new wiring in downstairs area.

Description of Work: We had a failed 3 unit meter pack for one of the buildings in our HOA. I called Switched Electric first because they had done a nice job for me in the past fixing existing wiring problems and installing a new ceiling fan plus Nathan and Seth and Terry are lovely to work with. I give them a B for pricing for my fan job because it seemed very pricy to me but I admit I did not shop around for competitive bids. In any case, back to the meter pack job. It was determined that it was not an easy problem to fix, i.e., not just a breaker. Switched stood on ceremony to some extent because they would not replace the breaker as a temporary solution to my unit having no power so we had to call another electrician who got my power up and running until the permanent solution could be approved by my HOA (this took months with board approval, competitive bids, getting city permits, etc.) However Switched's bid to do the larger job was very competitive with our regular electrician and so Switched has since become the regular electrician for our HOA. Switched was super responsive during the meter pack job which I greatly appreciate because the City of Palo Alto demanded additional work to meet code and kept threatening to turn our power off if demands weren't met and gave us very little time to comply. Switched met all demands timely and communication was excellent.

Description of Work: Seth performed an Electrical Inspection of my home. He was punctual, and professional. He had technical difficulties delivering the results of the inspection from his software provider, but it finally arrived. I felt that Seth was knowledgeable and I would definitely consider using his services in the future for an electrical project.

Description of Work: Install breaker panel, install main grounding system ,20 amp dedicated circuit with 12/20 Romex, 20 Amp circuit with 1/2" EMT Conduit permits.

Description of Work: He checked the main electrical panel and all the outlets in the entire house with the exception of the attached garage. |Seth was very professional and inspected every outlet in the house including the ones he had not noticed, but after we showed it to him, since some were hidden/obstructed by furniture etc.

Description of Work: Nathan arrived early, we reviewed the project and after a minor inspection with a quick resolution of outlets power problem provided a qoute for other work. He worked quickly and efficiently. Nathan completed the project, installation of 3 lighting fixtures, and cleaned up the project area. He disposed of the old fixtures. We were very pleased with the work and timely response. Nathan was courteous and thanked us for contacting them. Recommend them highly.
