Description of Work: Replaced faulty GFCI outlet.

Description of Work: Seth was very professional and thorough in trying to find out electrical short in part of the house. He was able to find part of the problem and fix it, while leaving the rest for a future bid and visit (this was during the Thanksgiving holidays). He honored the Angies list coupon, which saved me a bundle. I'm looking forward to having him finish the job after the holidays.

Description of Work: We purchased the Whole House Electrical Inspection for $49.00. The electrical contractor was on-time, courteous, competent and extremely thorough. When the inspection was completed, he discussed his findings. I was quite overwhelmed at the amount of work we "needed." My building contractor--a friend--was by a few days later and reviewed the 4 separate quotes we received for Switched Electric work. Even with the 25% Angie's List discount, the total was more than $4000. I have no reason to doubt the fairness or accuracy of these quotes, but it was a bit overwhelming. Another electrician has recently fixed the few tasks that seemed to be necessary and/or that were bothering us (a pendant lamp & electrically-connected smoke alarms.)

Description of Work: I purchased two outdoor outlets to accommodate our holiday lighting needs. Seth was informative and worked with me to determine the optimal location for the outlets. He also was able to discuss and provide quotes for additional electrical projects we're considering. Friendly, clean-cut, efficient and very knowledgeable. We will definitely call on him again.

Description of Work: Installed an outside AC outlet. He did such a good job at such a good price, I immediately hired him to do another one. He has done that one too, with the same speed and quality.

Description of Work: I wrote a report about April 12, but it does not appear that it got published. Originally I purchased an electrical inspection through Angie's List, which was a special being offered by Switched Electric. Seth came to the house when scheduled, and performed the inspection, and reviewed everything with me, including his recommendations on what I should focus on and which aspects were low priority. Seth provided detailed estimates for all of the items that he determined did not meet code. We then scheduled the work, and he and an employee of his performed the work as scheduled. Seth was very pleasant to work with, technically very competent, and very professional. His use of technology impressed me, especially his use of his ipad for the inspection, such as taking pictures of each item that was not up to code, which he then used in a report that detailed each item, which he emailed to me for my records. His quotes for work were thorough and detailed. He was flexible in timing and showed up when promised, and the work was completed in time. Everything was cleaned up after work was completed. I will certainly employ he and his company if ever needed, and I have recommended him to my friends.

Description of Work: Check and install proper outlets and wiring for many outlets in a house that is over 50 years old. Had to replace some circuit breakers. Work was done quickly and professionally by Seth and Nathan. Very pleasant people to work with. Answered all questions. They had to come back to finish some work, that had not been anticipated, at no additional charge. Very pleased and will no doubt need their services in the future.
