Other than the fact that flushing a hot water heater is not that hard, as I know now, it went well right up until I asked a few other questions. I had a few other things around the house that I needed done, so the tech walked me through them, and then told me that he would send me an estimate the next day. He confirmed my email address and everything. I NEVER received an estimate. I'm not sure why, but he seemed to determine in his own mind that they either didn't want to do the work, or that wouldn't be able to pay their prices, but for whatever reason, they just blew it off.

The job performed was oustanding and the report furnished once the work was done was very detailed. I'd recommend this company to anyone.

The job went very well from start to finish. They returned my call in only a few minutes and was out to my house the same morning. The gentleman was friendly and courteous and performed the job quickly and efficiently. Would use them again. Overall a job well done and reasonably priced.

The plumber arrived on time. When he walked in and asked where he could drain the water from the water heater, I told him there is no outdoor space he could drain this water because I live in a townhouse. We don't have an outdoor area and his hose was not long enough to go from my second floor, where the water heater is, to the outside curb. The plumber was going to leave under the premise the service could not be performed until I asked him if he could drain the water to my bathtub. He called his boss and he said it could be done. I'm glad the solution worked. The Angie's List offer should have stated that second story water heaters could not be served by this offer. That was a bit disappointing. While the water heater was being drained, the plumber checked for leaks around my entire house. I would have liked that the plumber at least scrub his boots before entering my carpeted house. I also would have liked if he would have offered to take off his boots before entering the house. Otherwise, the service went fine and I learned how to do this type of maintenance work myself in the future. But for $49, I thought it was a great deal.

I found Gary to be professional and courteous. He did the job completely and was exact in his cost estimates. I will be using Gary and his company for my plumbing needs in the future. Recommended. A+

Gary arrived promptly and did a thorough inspection. Unfortunately, the total to fix all the problems was too much for my budget at this time. When I get the funds, I will re-contact them because the rates were very reasonable.

Our 2 year old water heater that was still under warranty by the manufacturer (parts only) stopped producing hot water. I called several plumbing companies given to me by the manufacturer. The ones that I spoke with were either unreasonably expensive for labor and/or had bad reviews or no reviews on Angie's List as well as failing grades or no grades with The Better Business Bureau. I found The Plumbers Connection through Angie's List. This was the only plumber in my area that had an A+ grade with the BBB, as well as all good reviews and no bad reviews on Angie's List. So I called them right away and spoke with their receptionist. Gary (owner & operator) called me back within an hour and from the first conversation with him, I could tell he was different from the all the other plumbers I had already spoken with. He was so much nicer to talk with and he treated me like a person instead of just another job, yet he was still very professional. I immediately felt more trusting of him than I did with any of the other plumbers. He also quoted a much lower fee for labor than any of the other plumbers. (Only the parts were still under warranty.) Gary was able to get the parts that were needed for our specific water heater by the next day. When he discovered that we were located outside of his regular service area due to a miss-communication on my part, he still agreed to come out and take care of us and our water heater. I will not forget that he was willing to do that - that was so awesome!!!! He literally went the extra mile. When he arrived at our house in a specialized plumbers vehicle, his appearance was very clean and professional looking and he carried that through in his work and his interactions with us. I felt completely comfortable and at ease with him. Before he even arrived, he already knew what the problem was with our water heater and what parts he would need. He did exactly what was needed to fix our water heater, and no more and no less. He did not change the price once he arrived or charge us extra for having to come a further distance, he did not tell us that there were other things wrong with the water heater that would be an additional cost to fix, and he did not add any hidden fees that I was not told about when he first spoke to me on the phone. The price was the price.

We were completely satisfied with their service and if we ever need any plumbing services again we would call them.

He was prompt. He just came and took care of the business with no problems.
