Vince's Landscaping Inc

In about 2007, Vince helped design and then install two sets of steps totaling a dozen brick/concrete risers with beautiful lights built in. He also, with help from our designer, did the landscaping around the steps including small retaining walls. It could not have gone better. We had a very upscale look which held up well through these past seven years or so.

First, they removed a dying hedge a rotting deck. In place of the deck they laid down pavers. They removed my roses from the front yard to the back. They landscaped the hill that is part of my yard with drought tolerant plants. They included a drip system manual system in the entire backyard. It took about two weeks. The work was done efficiently. I am very pleased with the outcome. I have been having work done by Vince's Landscaping for over 20 years and I will continue with them.

My yard turned out beautifully. The results exceeded my expectations. I would have given him an "A" rating except for the fact that the project took so long to complete. The project install began in February, 2014 and finally finished up July 11, 2014. Workmanship is top-notched. If you have got patience, the results are worth it. If there is a problem or issue, it will eventually get done. It might take weeks or months, but it will get done. It also helps to be persistent. I am delighted with the innovative and artistic ways the crew brought the architect's plans to life. Special props go to Dago who was great. If you have got patience, I would not hesitate working with Vince.

The demolition work lasted 4.5 days for a crew of 3. The crew was polite and professional and showed up when they said they would. The prep work for the pavers was another 1 or 2 days. Again, very professional. Paver instillation lasted 2 days and turned out great. They did a great job. Steve provided the estimate and checked in on the work every couple of days. We’re very happy with the entire process and we would use them again.

We have used Vince's twice in the last 25 years. Both times Vince sat down with us and discussed our lifestyle, including how much time we wanted to spend with maintenance, etc. He asked us about the type of plants, flowers, and trees we liked. He and his team also did our hardscaping, and provided electrical leads so we could add lighting at a later date. We have been very happy with the results over the last 20+ years. The only thing we wish we had done differently was have top soil brought in; we have a lot of clay soil in our area and it caused our plants to grow too slowly.

They did a great job for us. The price was competitive with other bids and was completed within the estimated time frame. After completion, we noticed a very small area that wasn't sealed as well and Vince came out and redid it within a day. I would highly recommend Vince's Landscaping to anyone who needs a responsible job done in the right way. My driveway is beautiful!

We had a very positive experience with Vinces. They arrived as scheduled to assess the project in order to develop an estimate, then everything was done on time, within budget and according to expectations.

They were very good. Did all the yard work in one day, and came back for another few hours to root-till the vegetable garden. They were professional, worked hard and reasonably priced. I've used others since, but I will be using Vince's services in the future, because they have been the best I've used.

I called Vince's Landscaping for an estimate on a small backyard patio. I got a quick response from Steve who came over within a few days to check out the job. I was clear that it needed to be completed by june 7. He submitted the bid. The bid was reasonable and I liked that he explained how the process was done. He adressed my issues with drainage etc. i had planned on likely hiring his company. A few days later I contacted Steve as I had a few questions about design and also wanted him to meet my husband. He wasn't sure when he could come out and I assumed he would contact me. That never happened. I called him 3 more times but he never returned any of my calls. Apparently our job was not big enough? I know these guys prefer the big jobs, this was a big job for us. Very disappointed and bad buisness as far as I am concerned.

I had looked at Angie's list and looked at reviews of landscaping companies in the area that put up retaining walls. My sister and I met with Vince. He also had done a wall for a neighbor of my sister's which we went and looked at & the neighbor highly recommended Vince. They did an excellent job on my sister's wall. It looked better than we both imagined it would. I wanted my sister to go the whole way, but to save money, she was only going to have him go 1/2 way. After his crew started, she decided to go all the way (for looks and for drainage reasons). She was also getting standing water in her backyard after it would rain, but now since he put in the drainage and connected the drainage to an existing drain that goes around the house, she hasn't had any standing water. We would both definitely recommend him and would hire him again. The wall changed the appearance of my sister's backyard. A big and much needed improvement.

They did excellent work and it looks beautiful. There was a lot of hardscape in the project - pavers for driveway, patio, sidewalks, retaining wall. We have received numerous compliments from neighbors and passers-by. The crew was very responsive and flexible to our needs. They completed the work in timely fashion (no dead periods during the construction). The price was very comparable to two other quotations that we received.

It is a contractor that does everything and they coordinated everything for me. They were easy to deal with and they work with you on your suggestions for the plans. I had an architect draw everything up for me prior to starting the job. Because of the holidays and the weather, it took about 4 months to complete all of the work. They were a little on the expensive side but the owner, Vince, was great to work with.

Things went smoothly. The crew worked fast and knew what they were doing. They cleaned up after the job was done. They followed up to make sure everything was done correctly and that we were happy. Weeks later there was a leak and they came and fixed it right away. We received 3 other quotes that were much higher (one was more than double). Everything about Vince's Landscaping has been excellent. I would highly recommend them and I would also use them for any future landscaping projects.

Front and back yard jobs done over fall and summer. Service by Steve was always prompt and any spotted issues addressed immediately. This is a great business, solid teams, great know how. I would have them back any time. Highly recommended.

We worked directly with Steve Martino. They were one of three contractors who submitted a bid for the work. We chose them because their bid was very competitive, their references were very good, and they are licensed. They started and finished the project on schedule and on budget. The yard looks great. Steve was very efficient and did a nice job of choosing attractive deer-resistant/drought resistant plants for the yard. The work crew was very polite and professional, and helped repair a few other irrigation problems in other parts of the yard. We are very pleased with the results. They also did a nice job on the fence. we will definitely use them again.

They were excellent. They were very responsive and my wife was here when the work was going on. We kept changing some of the things during the work and they were very good about it. They cleaned up after themselves and did an entire hillside of brush and everything like that. They brought their own removal stuff and carted it all out. They were also very responsive.

Called for an estimate on a new deck. I received a call back from Steve Martinez and made an appointment. Steve was a no show on our appointment time. I called his cell and asked for a call back 2 times. I never even received a cursory call back. I think Steve probably doesn't like it when someone doesn't keep appointments with him!!!

Since we did not use Vince's Landscape services for our project I can only say that I would contact them again in an event that the other contractor were not available. I found Vince and Steve to be very professional.

The cost was right what he said it would be. They are great and just wonderful! I would highly recommend them!
