Vince and his team worked on my backyard for over five weeks, taking it from lots of dirt and weeds (basically nothing) to a properly graded and planted yard with pavers all around the house. This was a huge overhaul of a property we had just moved into and Vince's Landscaping did an excellent job. They have lots of experience with everything landscaping related, so they could do all of the work (grading, demolishing concrete, pouring concrete, installing pavers & fire pit & seating, wood stairs to get up the hill, irrigation, planting, etc). They did not charge me as much as most of the other landscapers, yet still did a great job. It was not an easy job either, as most of my backyard was a steep hill. Vince's Landscaping also did several "extra" things for me that were not part of the quote, at no extra charge. Thank you! All of my plants are California natives and Vince's team did a nice job of planting them. A very small percentage of plants died, and Vince returned to replace them. Also, very very important, they came back, over a year later, to fix things! Thank you so much, Vince & Alex & Jose and your team.

Vince's crew did an extraordinary job. They removed the old sprinkler system. Rototilled multiple times; installed and amended soil; laid out new sprinkler system divided intelligently among four zones including one for terraced garden, and one drip system for another area. They installed two extra hose faucets mounted to new posts. They used quality products including brass hose risers and fittings. Irrigation control system was Hunter. Completed with new sod lawn. They were always prompt, accommodating to my needs, and they took their time to do things correctly. Completed October 2013. Lawn still in great shape. I have since used them for other repairs in my front lawn area. They were always professional and reasonably priced.

They were knowledgeable, professional, and they did a beautiful job! They gladly answered questions I had. Subsequent to original work, if I need a sprinkler adjustment, they came back and adjusted it with no problem, no questions. Work was completed October 2013.

Vince worked to ensure that potential damage was minimized. His crew showed up on time each day and were careful of the job site. On the final day, his crew cleaned up thoroughly and left the job site in great shape.

Didn't use their service as thy couldn't provide that type of work. So where it says would I hire again, there needs to be a N/A because it did not happen. Cant really give them a rating, so ignore the ratings.

Very happy with the finished product. Work was excellent, workers friendly and professional. Done at a reasonable cost.

We got a bid from Vince that was fine. We ultimately used somebody else though, but I wish we had hired him instead based on my experience with him from a prior project last year at a rental property. He did a very professional job then and the landscaping still looks good. His knowledge of plants' needs, soil and drainage I think are superior to the person we did hire and probably would have resulted in a better outcome for our drought tolerant plants.

I hired Vince's Landscaping after moving into a new home. Previously the front yard was mostly weeds and mulch. In two weeks, they transformed it into a California-native, drought-tolerant garden with a small lawn in the corner and working sprinkler system.

While doing the estimate, Vince was knowledgeable, respectful and clearly interested in doing a good job for me. He asked a lot of questions and made suggestions to help me get what I wanted. Due to their busy schedule, there was a about a two month delay between getting the estimate and the beginning of the project. Once they started the project, the work went very quickly. The crew was generally polite, responsive, and made sure to let me know what was being done. I really appreciated being kept informed because their suggestions and information led to several improvements in the design along the way.

We are very pleased with the results. The artificial lawns look really good and real, the designs were respected, with drought resistant plants, decomposed granit paths, and 3 new trees. The foreman and his team were very professional, came on time, cleaned up every evening before they left and finished the job in good time. Steve (Vince's son) was very responsive to our requests and always returned phone calls in good time. He went the extra mile to please us, like replacing plants which had died, which is inevitable in this heat, adding more mulch and improving the paths even more, after the job was finished. Overall we are pleased and highly recommend this company.

We have the utmost confidence in Steve Martino and Vince’s Landscaping. The crew is hardworking and they do excellent work. The company is professional and they operate with integrity. I would recommend them to a friend for his or her next backyard renovation. We have the backyard of our dreams.

It took a bit longer than expected and they weren't always as responsive or good at returning calls as was expected, but the work they did was very well done and left us very pleased.

Vince"s Landscaping said the project would be completed in two to three weeks. It was completed in two weeks. The Crew arrived daily and worked continuously for six to seven hour per day, allowing for breaks and lunch. Vince's Landscaping was amenable to new ideas and came prepared with ideas for me to review and discuss. The Crew left the premises clean and orderly at the end of the each day. I am thoroughly please with the end product. My neighbors are stopping and complementing me on the newly designed front yard. The work crews were very good and professional. They did a good job on the front and side yard; the grass and plants look good. They checked with me as the work progressed to make sure I was happy with the job. I had to have an old plant removed that I liked, and the foreman made sure to get the same plant as a replacement, which was very thoughtful. The only thing that was left undone was no cover for all the wiring hanging off the irrigation system controls. The drawback was with spotty communication. Placed deposit in December for job to start mid February, and after a few unanswered emails and calls at the end of February, the job was rescheduled for April. During work the crew was digging trenches for the irrigation and the city was not called to mark gas, water, and electrical lines. I did myself, though that is not allowed, when my calls to landscapers to do it weren't answered. Communication was always respectful, just hard to establish.

They did a fantastic job and were on time, cleaned up each day and were very good with updating us daily as to progress and next day's plan! I highly recommend Vince's Team!

They were on average and nothing's special.

They bothered to get back to me, unlike a lot of other contractors. They were reasonably priced and did high quality work. It was kind of difficult to coordinate with some of the other services we had going on in my yard at the time, but my interaction with them was pretty good. When they did start the job they got it done pretty fast.

The experience was very good. I have invited them back; they are sending me a quote for some new services as well. They are very courteous, prompt and know their stuff. They go beyond what I would think. They installed a water pressure regulator and I did not even realize on was needed in the system. They really go the extra mile. If there is a problem like a sprinkler breaking, they will send somebody back out. Their prices are reasonable and fair. Vince is a great guy and his crew members are great people. So they get my highest recommendation. Originally I got multiple bids and theirs was one of the most reasonable ones so they had an excellent price. I really trust them and I am very discriminating. I also am a general contractor and I understand the ins and outs of things. These are good people who know their stuff and don't try to put anything over on me. They go the extra mile. When I asked them to put protectors on the water lines they installed in the back yard they did that with no problem. Everything is done right and properly.

They have been excellent. This is my second project with them. They are doing my deck right now. The first quote that I got from someone else from Angie's List was $15000. The second quote was $8000. They are doing it for $5000. Their work is really good.

i was contacted by Vince's landscaping and given a reasonable estimate to clear the weeds from a rock bed of approximately 80 ft by 3 ft. The light shield under the river rock had deteriorated and allowed large stalks of weeds growing up to 5 ft high. Vince's sent a crew of three guys who worked all day 8 to 5pm to remove the weeds and take all the rocks out of the river bed. Then they laid down a fresh weed barrier and covered it with the removed rocks. They also filled in some gaps with additional river rock. I could not have done this myself. It would have taken me the rest of my life. Vince's did it all in one day. To this day it looks great. I am 100 per cent satisfied with the completed project. Ben H. Kurio
