 + -1 moreRene came to our home exactly on time for an estimate of the project. His estimate was very reasonable, especially for the time and effort involved in this project. Compared to others that we recieved estimates from, Rene seemed much more artistic and was able to visualize what the end result would be. When he came to start on the project he (and another worker) were always prompt, and made sure that everything in the house was covered. Considering how messy of a job it is to refinish cabinets, Rene went through great lengths to minimize dust, etc. He also worked up a sample for us and was very willing to do whatever it took to get the best end result that we were happy with. When the project was finished, he cleaned up so well that everything was in the same condition as when he started. Our kitchen looks amazing and we are so happy with his work. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to refinish their kitchen/bathroom cabinets.

 + -1 moreCouldn't be better. He is polite, neat and talented as are all his helpers. I would definitely hire him again and would recommend him to anyone seeking similar work. I also like the way he organized. In advance of actually working in the house, he removed all the cabinet doors and drawers and worked on them at his home so that he only needed to be in the house for those tasks that required it. In addition, he was very careful with how he took things down so that it was easier for him to put things back. Very organized and well throughout.
Description of Work: All our kitchen cabinets and shelves, desk tops and a bathroom set of cabinets were resurfaces, ie. removed systematically, sanded carefully and then refinished. The work was incredibly neat and skillful. Rene is a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend him. He is truly an artist who recognizes good cabinetry and furniture and does a great job. We are looking forward to him redoing our antique roll-top desk. 7/28/2015 Rene and his helpers painted the outside of our house, expanded and rebuilt fencing to make a storage area with extras that were a 'gift'. Installed rain barrels, set up a solution for a tricky drainage problem. He's not only an artist with cabinetry, he's great at solving problems, discovering problems before they grow into expensive repairs and generally comes when scheduled. Every time I have a project for him, he solves it in a way that's better than what I had imagined.

 + -1 moreAlthough it seemed that the project took an overly long period of time, the final product was done to a fine finish with which we are quite happy.
Description of Work: Work required matching color, refinishing kitchen cabinets, closet doors, and skylight frames all of which are oak. The wood had varying degrees of wear and tear.
