It was great. He was awesome. He was prompt. He was fast with the job. Everything went fine. There were no issues at all. He quickly responded. He called back and had good communication skills. Everything worked out. It was all positive. Price was great.

HVAC System is about 18 years old. It has provided reasonable service but showing extensive signs of wear. Recommended we replace unit within the next few years with better seer rating. Gave me a proposal of three different replacement types-good, better and best. Decided to consider proposal and do some research. Will probably go with his recommendations.professional in his appearance, knowledgeable and friendly. Am familiar with the company and went to college with the former owner many years ago. Have not used the Purl Company before, but reviewed Angie's List evaluations of vendors.

No service was rendered as far as upgrading my current system, but I now know precisely what it will cost to replace my existing system, which is in good working order.

Serviced the entire unit, cleaned and replaced filter. Replaced ignition control module because it kept tripping off when it approached a high heat.

I recently purchased an HVAC diagnostic service from Purl's Sheet Metal & Air Conditioning. My tenant in Clovis, CA notified me that his PG&E bill was an excessive $500 a month and he thought something might be wrong with the HVAC System. Consequently, I contacted Purl's Air Conditioning and purchased the HVAC Diagnostic Service. The Diagnostic Service report recommended replacing the HVAC System or compressor. I have been a Landlord for more than 40 years and I have always made it a practice of getting two or three bids for any major repairs, whether it's for my own home or one of my rentals. When one of the A/C Contractors inspected the HVAC system in the Clovis rental, he indicated to me that the major reason for the heat loss was due the following: "The return was completely disconnected and a 7" supply collar was disconnected and just blowing in the attic...". I spoke with a local A/C Contractor that recently installed a new HVAC System in my home and he said the diagnostic service would have detected the duct problem on my rental unit. The main reason I only gave a "C" rating for the HVAC Diagnostic Service was due to the technician's failure to report the above described duct problem to me.

Worker arrived on time quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me several options to remedy the problem. I elected to have a new compressor installed. This was on a Wednesday. He told me he would be back on Friday morning to install it. Worker returned on time Friday morning and needed about four hours to install the compressor and service other parts of my air conditioner. System now works fine. Prompt, friendly, quality service!

When I first submitted my request for service, I was a little hesitant because our a/c was not working at all, it was going to be 100 degrees that day and I the earliest I could choose my appointment was the following day. Within two hours of submitting my request the receptionist called me and put me in direct contact with the repair man so I could explain the problem to him. Once I explained the problem to him, he stated he would not be able to respond to my house but would make sure somebody could respond. About two hours after talking to the repair man, someone was at my front door ready to look at my a/c. He was extremely courteous and professional. He diagnosed my problem within minutes of being there and showed me the parts that were broken and took his time to answer any questions we had. When he came inside, he even wore covers over his shoes, to male sure he didn't make our floor dirty. Overall I was extremely impressed with this company and will be using them for any and all of my repairs.

They did it fine. The only problem was that there was a leak. When the warm weather hit, it leaked. They came out right away and apologized and fixed everything. It’s working fine now. They gave me a good price on the unit.

Work was scheduled immediately. Rick was prompt and professional.. Price was reasonable. Overall it was an excellent experience. We ended up buying a service plan, but I want to emphasize it was not pushed on us at all.

Very well. Rick tested other components and found they were good. Only performed work that was needed. Very courteous and helpful for future needs. We will definitely use them again.

Adrian showed up on time, was professional and checked out our system. It was not cooling like we thought it should. He replaced some parts, sealed some things up and before he left, our temp was perfect! Would ABSOLUTLY recomment this company to anyone! Very satisfied.

He explained everything very professionally. We felt very comfortable with his work. We agreed to have the work done by Purls. We had several other Air-condition companies give us an estimate. None of the others came even close to the service Dave provided to us. We will recommend Purls anytime to anybody. Great job DAVE.

We were very impressed by the quick response to our need. It has been 100 plus daily and not having air conditioning is not pleasant. They came out the very next day and after diagnosing the problem, replaced the thermostat. I purchased the discounted service call from Angie's list (66% savings) prior to setting up an appointment. It was quick and the person who answered the phone at Purl's was professional and very helpful, ensuring we got help as soon as possible. Note: They offered to come out the same day, but, we were not going to be home. The technician who came out was prompt (calling to let us know he was on his way) and very professional. The day after the appointment, I received a call from Paul at Purl and he said there was an error and we had been charged for the service fee twice because the technician did not realize I had purchased the diagnostic service call on Angie's List for $42. A check for $128 should arrive in the next few days. Thank you Purl for your honesty..feels good to do business with a company that is ethical. Refreshing indeed!!! Purl's Sheet Metal's installers were very profressional and kept our home clean during the replacement process. We purchased a wi-fi thermostat and the installers helped us get everything hooked up and we can even access it remotely by our cell phones. The tech did an awesome job. He did not try to "Over Up-Sell" me. They were honest and did a good job. I will use them again in the future.

Their services were great. The guys were very professional, and they were very prompt. They deal that I had purchased, gave me a great discount on the service, and because I have 2 units in my house that needed service performed, they allowed me to do the deal for both units. They didn't have to do that, and they went the extra mile, and so that was excellent. They were friendly, the service technician that came to my home was on time, and he just provided a great service. They came out a day or two later, they were really fast.

I trusted them and decided to put in furnace fan filters to make sure it doesn't happen again. The techs told me what was wrong with the furnace. They're a local business. I would probably get other estimates from other companies for something major.

1. They didn't change the air filter. I had to call them to tell them to come back out and do it. 2. Two weeks after they did the heater maintenance they're back doing a repair. Really? What's the point in getting the maintenance done?

Service tech arrived on time, replaced the units in a timely manner. No surprise charges. New system works great.

They did very good. They checked my swamp cooler for free and it seems to be looking pretty good. I really like them. The wall heater was kind of expensive but I didn’t check around to see what other people charged, so I don’t know if their prices are comparable. Their work is A-one. Although they have a secretary, they are easy to get a hold of and they are reliable.

Had no problems. Had to wait a couple of days without heat because crane to mount unit on roof was booked.
