This was a superb job from first contact to final clean-up. We especially liked that there was a 2-hour color consultation included in the initial quote, and we took advantage of this. We should have painted a couple of years ago, but couldn't agree on colors, so this was really helpful. Cleve, the owner, was extremely flexible with changes we wanted to make along the way. The workers were punctual, courteous, and hard-working. The job took exactly as long as promised, and the cost was within our self-imposed budget. We can't say enough positive things about Cleve and his company. We would definitely recommend The Painting Pros and will use them again for any painting needs.

They sent somebody over to help me choose colors and then they did that. One thing I liked about them more than others, I had some railings of the stairs that I wanted to knock some wood color. Everybody else wanted to just paint them white. The only thing that I had was a half bathroom while we pull out something on the ceiling as far as the lighting fixture and I did not think the place that they added through that was a little bit high. But otherwise, everything was reasonable.

The whole team is very professional and they did an excellent and thorough job in every stage of the process and with an attitude that they really appreciated your business and the opportunity to work with you. Since we indicated that we needed to take advantage of their color consultation that they offered, they sent Roshawn, their color consultant to do the initial visit for the estimate. Cleve then followed up with a detailed and fair estimate. Roshawn was awesome in the color consultation. I was afraid of making any decision on color and she was extremely patient, positive and easy to work with. She went out of her way to help us decide on colors before the painting started and even for changes during the project. She was awesome. Our crew, Richard, Mario and Alberto were amazing. It was a big job and they came on time every day and worked really hard. Richard was easy to communicate with and met all our requests and questions with good humor and a practical approach. We have a large house with high ceilings in the living room/dining room area and we chose lots of different colors but this was not a setback for them. They did a great job with quality workmanship and the house looks great. Richard also refinished our oak front doors, which had a lot of sun damage. They now look new and add a lot to the look of the outside of the house. We have gotten a lot of compliments from our neighbors. We were very satisfied and would highly recommend them.

Excellent work -- highly recommend this business. Cleve and his entire team were punctual, professional and provided high quality workmanship. They were also flexible with rescheduling our work (twice) when we ran into issues with the home purchase being delayed 2 weeks. The crew arrived on time and took great care of our home. Since we hadn't moved into the home yet, they had plenty of room in which to work. They not only put down appropriate drop cloths but also cleaned up each night by consolidating all of their tools into one room, neatly stacked and out of the way. When we went over in the evenings to move in a few items, we were impressed with how tidy and well-organized everything was (and we are neat freaks). As for the work, the interior painting is flawless. I've looked for drips and spills, but none are to be found. I am amazed at how perfectly each edge of the paint is where the walls meet the baseboard. They removed outlet covers and light fixtures in order to paint behind them, no shortcuts here.

I'm VERY happy with the result! I met with Cleve about a month before I wanted the room painted. He was very helpful and professional and emailed me the bid soon after. The cost was a bit more than I had hoped, but I thought it was a somewhat difficult job and wanted the best. There were challenges in the room. It had 70's style dark wood veneer paneling, painted wood beams across the ceiling and neutral wallpaper on the ceiling between the beams. The ceiling wallpaper was stained in many places from previous roof leaks. One end of the room had a large painted brick fireplace extending floor to ceiling. I had them install new baseboards and new casing for an entry way. The room was truly transformed. Bright and light and inviting. I now actually like the paneling, which is painted a light neutral color. The ceiling looks great! I had given Cleve a start date about a month after he looked at the project. He called the day before and let me know the start time would be in the afternoon rather than the morning. Cleve was easy to reach, especially by email and always very helpful. The painters came in the afternoon, made some measurement and went out to get the supplies. They got started the next morning and the room was complete at the end of the 3rd day from then. We had moved small items out of the room and they moved the large pieces of furniture, covered the floor, took down the shades and covered the windows. I had a consultation with their color consultant, Roshawn on the first day. If I had it to do over again, I might skip this step. The color for the ceiling, trim, etc was fine. However, we must have had a miscommunication on the wall color. It turned out to be YELLOW, which is a color I don't particularly like and I didn't think did much for the fabric sample I had for a sofa that would be in the room. After the first coat was applied, I called Cleve and asked for a more neutral color change (I went with one of the stock colors from a brochure Cleve had given me (Kelly Moore Interior Classic Collections) and was very happy with it.) The color change (one coat) was $400, but worth it. The 3 man paint crew was very good. The clean up was EXCELLENT. They even vacuumed the carpet when they were finished.! I will definitely have the Painting Pros work for me again.

Was not available to see the process of the project. Had some misunderstandings which were cleared up. Overall the house looked great.

I got them from Angie's List. They did a very good job. They were prompt, conscientious, and very competent. I thought their price was reasonable.

Cleve Dayton is VERY professional and this carries over to his crew. Cleve examined our home carefully and prepared a very thorough and detailed proposal. We enlisted an interior design consultant to advise us in color selection. We then reviewed Cleve's proposal, thought hard about the expense, and decided that we really needed the work done. Angie's List reviews were instrumental in reaching a decision. Cleve assured us that his crew would move heavy furniture but that we should move any fragile items. We have packed a lot of "stuff" in our house and recognized that we must move a lot of it to make room for moving large furniture away from the walls. Cleve agreed to split the job into three phases to allow us a couple of days between each phase to move things around. He also volunteered to loan us some clothes racks to hold clothing from the closets (Thanks, Cleve!). The crew arrived on the agreed upon date and took much of five days for the first phase (all ceilings, LR, DR, K, FM, UR, Hall). Richard was easy to communicate with and met all our requests with good humor. The second phase (3 BR, 1 bath) took three days. The third phase (1 BR, 1 bath, front door) was accomplished in one day. The crew did a great job with moving all the heavy furniture. We ended up very satisfied with the work.

They power washed the house on day 1...about two hours. The next 2 days was prepping the house, lots of scraping, filling, and sanding. Another day and a half to paint. Overall we are very happy with the results. The house looks great. The workers did a fantastic job. We were quoted less money from other painters but we felt The Painting Pros would do the best job. In the end, you get what you pay for. We would hire them again.

The estimate was not the lowest by a long shot. but it did include services other painter did not quote or want to to handle, e.g., sanding and refinishing a wooden door and paining gutters and downspouts. The crew showed up about 10A on the first morning and set to work. I showed them an area to store their gear and then left them to do their tasks without interruption. I synced up with them every morning to make sure that they had all they needed without interference from me. When they were ready to finish the doors I worked from home so they could leave doors open to dry. The job took 6 days, longer than the 4 quoted, but we were in regular communication and they allocated time as needed. The end results looks great, and I expect it to keep the elements out while looking good for many years.

After discussing our needs, he started off by suggesting that we meet with his color specialist, Rashawn. She was very friendly and excellent at her job. She listened to our ideas and made solid suggestions that made sense. She was very knowledgable of which color schemes worked well and which ones didn't. Our painting and prep work was completed by a two person team (Michael and Steven). They started by doing a power wash of the house followed by about 2 days of prep work. During the power wash they discovered that even after the cleaning there was still a portion of the stucco that was dusty. Upon finding this, Cleve suggested that we use primer on this section of our house to best ensure that the we didn't risk a poor paint job. Once the primering was done, Michael and Steven continued to work on our houses in various stages. We used 3 different colors on our house so the painting was largely done by color with the main color first, the facia, gutters and shutters next, and the eaves and window frames last, Michael and Steven were courteous and did excellent work. Although the work ended up taking 2 weeks to complete, they never rushed to try to get to the next job. The end of each day was a welcome surprise for my wife and I.

They touched up when I mentioned that something had been missed. They completed the job in a week (were working everyday).

We had removed wainscoting from a large living room that left walls bare and mismatched. I called Cleve and scheduled an appointment for free quote. He came on time and asked me all the right questions to get a fair idea of the job. Next day I received a detailed quote from him and signed the contract. Roshawn helped us in picking a color and we were all set. One the scheduled date, the crew arrived on time, prepped the area for the job and started the work. The work was finished in one and half day. The walls looked beautiful, the texture was matched perfectly and they left the place sparkling clean. I am very pleased with Cleve's team's professionalism and would definitely use their services for the next job.

They not only met our expectations but exceeded them. On the wood where they scraped they filled all the cracks and primed before painting. They arrived on time each morning, were courteous and cleaned up at the end of shift. I would highly recommend them, if we have more painting to do we would hire again.

After a traumatic interior painting service with another provider, my husband and I were hesitant to hire an exterior painter. Cleve at The Painting Pros and his team put us at ease from the get go and we've ended up with a really quality exterior paint job where they look a lot of care to prep the home, treat us and the home with respect, and make sure we were going to be happy every step of the way. Cleve was punctual for the estimate appointment, took a great deal of time to review the home to prepare our quote, and we ended up with a completely detailed estimate. He also arranged for a Saturday start, which they don't normally do, so that we could be there the entire first day. Roshawn provided a complimentary color consultation with great service including coming by our house during the day to apply select colors on different surfaces around our home to we could see how the light played off of it before making a final decision. When it was time to prep and paint, Salvador and his team were friendly, professional and detail oriented. Our house needed much more prep than most, and they had different patches, creams, treatments, puttys and such all over the house so that by the time they applied paint we now look like the house was re-stuccoed! I would definitely use them again.

The owner of Painting Pros, Cleve Dayton, responded quickly to our email requesting a quote, and a date was set for him to come and look at the job. We got two other estimates, one from a local painter for about the same amount as Painting Pros, and one almost 60% higher from another highly rated Angie's List company. All emails to Cleve were answered quickly and professionally. We accepted Painting Pros' offer, and one of their crews was available to start almost immediately. The crew arrived on time with Cleve on hand to make the introductions and go over the details and expectations. The painters were professional and pleasant to work with, arrived on time, had excellent suggestions, worked carefully around planted areas, and were flexible and helpful. (There was neither cigarette smoke nor portable radios, two of my pet peeves with on-site workers.) This was a large job involving a tricky barrel-tile roof (no broken tiles!), chimney stacks, copper downspouts, an outbuilding, retaining walls, and posts along the driveway. The crew worked steadily every weekday until the job was completed -- ahead of schedule. One paint-matching issue was resolved quickly and satisfactorily. When it was determined that one wall needed to be re-stuccoed before being painted, the crew worked around that area until we could get a plasterer in to do the work. We've done a lot of remodeling over the years, and have never had a smoother, more, trouble-free job. Painting Pros has certainly earned its stellar reputation, and we will be calling them in the future as the need arises. Thank you again, Painting Pros, for a professional and stress-free job!

Both Cleve (by phone) and Roshawn (in person) were extremely helpful and informative. It is very clear that they know their stuff! I am totally new to painting, and Roshawn was very easy to talk to about what we would need and our options (colors, type of paint, extent of the job, etc.). We got an immediate quote and priority timing on the available start date. Unfortunately we did not end up engaging the team, due to our budget constraints, but we will definitely keep them in mind for any future painting needs!

Average work not really what I was expecting but it works.

Should have had the wood sliding glass door stained many years when it was first put in. Glad to have it finally done by the Painting Pros, who helped find a stain that would match the color of the hard wood floors, and did a great overall job.

The three workers showed up on time, were very clean and professional at all times. The job was scheduled to take 2-3 days and that was exactly what it took. The crew cleaned up after each day which allowed us to live in the house with little interference. Everything went very well except for our front door. The exterior of our door was in bad shape & the guys had a difficult time with it but Cleve had one guy come back a couple of times to ensure it came out right. We were very pleased with the overall quality, professionalism & interface with Cleve & his crew.

The Painting Pros team did an excellent job of painting my entire home. The color I chose was pale yellow for the majority of the home, and needed to cover a deep grey green. The team arrived on time, did an excellent job of setting up (taping, patching, removing towel racks, etc.), priming, and painting the main color. Paining Pros has a color consultant who can assist with choosing a color for your room (I had a hard time deciding which color blue for the master bedroom; I wanted light blue, but not "baby blue". The toughest part of the master bedroom was not so much getting the right blue, as they being able to completely cover over Victorian Red without it showing through! That is the sign of a professional team. The team cleaned up at the end of each day, and replaced any furniture that needed to be moved. I would recommend this company - they know how to estimate accurately, choose quality paint, and have a team that has worked together for years. They are worth every penny to ensure a quality job. Think of it this way..... ANYBODY can paint a wall, but only a company with a quality team can do a job that keep you smiling every time you look at your rooms.
