They came out and helped. They were prompt. They did not charge me anything. They were very nice about it. They seemed like they knew exactly what they were talking about. There were some holes in some trees, and I did not know what they were. The representative came out, looked at it, and advised me what to do. He said that there was nothing he needed to do and told me what I could do to prevent the trees from further damaged. He was not sure either if it was a bug or woodpecker. These are palm trees, and he told me how to rig up something that would prevent whatever is climbing up the trees from praying them anymore. I would absolutely use them again in the future if I needed too.

It was a really difficult removal of a tree. It was very large. They did a great job and I felt safe with everything they were doing. They were quick, did a really good job and cleaned up before leaving the site. I was very pleased.

From contacting their office, to the estimate visit, the visit from the crew and follow up, this is a good company to deal with. Keep in mind that this is a National company so they have the infrastructure and resources to support a large operation.

Service has been professional and it's easy to communicate with them by eMail, which is much appreciated. They've performed several treatments over two years. My trees are in decent shape, and I understand that these things take time, but not all my trees have recovered / improved over the years. Maybe I am expecting too much, but for the price I would expect miracles.

They quoted me $875.00 to do the work and I was able to get it done for $450.00. I thought that they were very expensive.

Called Bartlett. They phoned back promptly and gave me an appointment for a quote on trimming my magnolia tree and applying pest control (the tree had scale). At the time, I wanted to save the tree. Kevin was very upfront with me that the pest control was a long-term project, would possibly be a multi-year expense, and might not work. I tried it anyway. The treatment and trimming were scheduled promptly and the work done as promised. They also trimmed a few other trees for me. The guys were professional, friendly and prompt. Subsequently, I decided to have the magnolia taken out. The scale infestation was just too severe. Kevin once again responded promptly and his team took the tree down on day one and ground down the stump on day two. I was on a tight schedule, due to selling my house, and Bartlett was super-responsive. Very satisfied with the advice I was given and the expertise that Bartlett provided.

Our backyard is a pretty good size for being in California but we couldn't really appreciate the size of the yard because of all the landscaping and our neighbors trees hanging over the fence into our yard. We have three dogs and decided we were going to have a new patio put in and have the grass (or what was left of it) replaced by turf. While defining the scope of work for our backyard project the contractor let us know what needed to be done with the landscaping. After that we logged into Angie's List and found Bartlett Tree Experts. Kevin was our Arborist, he was punctual, exceptionally knowledgeable and thourough when defining the scope of the work to be done. He did a great job of communicating that to the crews that came out and did the work. The first day they came out and cut everything down and disposed of it and then the next day the crew was out to grind all the stumps down on our property. In a matter of two days we could easily appreciate the actual size of our yard. Kevin did a great job coordinating and communicating the timeline for the work to be done. I can't say enough about how well these guys performed. My wife and I talked about it today and I told her that if we have any other work done we're using Bartlett.

I called 3 companies to prune a large Japanese Zelkova on my parking strip. All three were professional, punctual and responsive to my call, and two of the estimates came in at the same price (with the 10% discount from Angie's List) - $360. I chose Bartlett because of the detailed estimate provided. The tree looked a bit sick to me and therefore we discussed options in addition to pruning As promised the emailed estimate had separate line items for each of the services we had discussed, which made it easy for me to pick and choose what I felt was needed and also affordable. Once I approved the estimate, we set a date for pruning. Although it needed to be changed am/pm , Kevin kept me apprised of the time changes. The tree looks great!

I needed my three birch trees trimmed so I looked up several companies. For estimates, I selected three that were rated highly on Angie's List. Heidi, at Bartlett, set up an appointment with Kevin, their arborist, who came out at the appointed time. Even though it was during the holidays, he wrote up a detailed job description with estimated price and a formal contract. Although I was impressed by all the companies, Bartlett stood out. I sent in a formal acceptance (Notice how professionally everything is done.) as Kevin had requested. He immediately gave me a selection of dates that would be convenient for me. Once I selected the date, he gave me an approximate time for the tree trimmers' arrival. On the appointed day, they came in and went right to work, obviously knowing what to do, an indication of the great training Bartlett had given them. I tell my friends about a birch down the street that looks like it had been butchered. Mine looks so great. Of course, they did an excellent cleanup job. From the first phone call until the completion of the job--two weeks. Now I can't wait until spring to see the ultimate results, which, without a doubt, will be superb.

Excellent experience from start to finish. From Heidi, the person who answers the phone (yes, a live person) to Frank, the arborist who did the estimate and scheduled the job, and Sean and his 2 crewmen who removed the trees, the experience was seamless. They are very professional, friendly, and courteous. Heidi took down my information and then e-mailed me an appointment confirmation (2-hour window) with some information about the company and a picture of Frank, so I knew who would be coming to do the estimate. Frank arrived right within the window, was very knowledgable, and answered all my questions. He scheduled the job for the following week, in accordance with my time schedule. Sean and his crew arrived right on time and did the job in 25 minutes! They thoroughly cleaned up afterward. The next day, the other company they worked with came to grind the stumps down to 12 inches below the surface of the ground. At my request, they left the grindings to become mulch. They, too, were professional and did an excellent job--and were a lot of fun, too. I highly recommend this company.

Everything went well and was completed as promised.

They had a grinder truck with them so they ground up the apple tree and the chippings went into the back of their truck. I think they did a good job. They were here on time, removed the tree without any problems and cleaned up. I will hire them again in the future.

We completed a price and services offered comparison between Bartlett's and one other tree service provider from Angie's List. Kevin was very knowledgeable about the issue with the tree, describing how the proposed work would effect the life of the tree. A quote was provided that broke out the individual services so that we could pick and choose as we desired. The crew arrived within the estimated arrival window, got right to work and completed the trimming quickly. Before cutting some of the larger branches (which would change the appearance of the tree significantly), they asked for my opinion before proceeding. Both of the workers were friendly and professional. They cleared the area nicely before leaving. A few days later the soil crew arrived and again completed the work in a timely, manner. It went very well. They were on time, made my trees look great, and cleaned up when they were done.

I had a huge Chinese elm tree which needed trimming and pruning and I used this company. They were very responsive and finished early, cleaned up and left on time.. They did what I asked them to do and gave me suggestions when I asked them. It was a pleasure to do business with them and I will do so in the future as well.

Kevin from Bartlett Tree Experts came out for the initial bid on the tree in my front yard. I explained to him what I wanted to accomplish. He in turn visually and verbally explained how and what his crew would do to complete the task. His crew came out on time and very professionally completed what Kevin and I had talked about the pervious week. I am completely happy with the service that Bartlett Tree Experts and Kevin gave me.

Heidi set up an appointment with Frank and he emailed a detailed proposal for the work to be done after coming out to look at the trees. The team came out (in the rain with full rain gear) and did a great job of trimming each tree. They even trimmed the limbs as far back as possible on a neighbors Texas weed tree that was invading our yard and interfering with the trees trying to grow on our side. I will definitely hire Bartlett Tree Service for all future tree work.

Bartlett came and it was a huge mess and they cleaned it all up. You did not even know they were there, they came, they saw, and conquered. They are professional and prompt.

We chose a plan. They came out . They spoke English so they were able to answer our questions. They would call us ahead of time and tell us our neighbors should move their cars so they don't get sprayed on and all of that was very useful. The treatment of the tree worked. They follow up with us via email and we get periodic emails from the representative who came to us to see if there is anything they can do and we really like that. They've also done pruning and did a really good job. They come on time, answer your questions, do what they say and follow up.

Frank came out promptly and assessed the tree, one-half of which I had removed several months ago by another tree service. His crew came out the following day, removed the tree, and cleaned up completely. They took care to protect a valuable nearby plant. They charged $200. to remove the tree. Bartlett subcontracted the stump grinding to Stump King, who arrived as rescheduled after the rains and removed the stump. They charged $140. for this service,which was paid to Bartlett. I definitely would use Bartlett again.

They seemed to have controlled the scale and they saved a 60-year-old tree that I loved. Another firm had actually come and asked me to cut that tree down. They were very articulate.

100% great service so far. The pest & soil management is an ongoing process, and Kevin is available to take my calls and questions pretty much anytime.
