We have an annual contract with them. They come out a few times a year to spray, trim, and fertilize the trees. We have another two year contract with them, so we will be using them again in the future.

It was four years since the last pruning of my birches, so I called Bartlett to take care of it within certain parameters. Sean came out and looked over the situation in order to give me an estimate. One of the birches showed signs of weakening because of root girdling so Sean suggested a root invigoration. After he explained it to me, I agreed that it would be worthwhile. I asked that a chopping of my olive tree at the same time would be a good idea. After I agreed to the estimate, a date was set. The crew came out to do the pruning. Great job---the birches were pruned so that they would be a compact cluster and not so tall and the olive tree that I just wanted chopped short looks good. Gino came out to do the root invigoration. It involved much more than I thought it would. And he was so good in that he was not bothered by my asking so many questions. He even gave me a packet of information about the work.

The job went great. 3 people showed up and did great work. Everything was cleaned up too.

Sean Davis and his crew pruned our street tree (a large old holly oak), removed an ailing prune tree, and pruned back large trees belonging to three different neighbors that were overhanging our back yard. Sean's quote listed each tree or tree group separately, so we could pick what we wanted done this time around without having to ask for an amended quote. They did what we asked: they protected our other plants that were under the work areas, left our mulch in place, and cleaned up and hauled away the debris. Their truck was quite full! Very professionally done.

They did good work but we found out the price was too much. They did not spend too much time with the trees. My wife called them a couple of times and they showed up.

Sean Davis came with his three man crew to my home on the day of the job and went over all the details and explained each tree trimming plan.He is very knowledgeable and professional as well as being personable and pleasant. He really listened to my thoughts and his suggestions were extremely helpful to the process. They arrived promptly and finished the job within a few hours. The yard looks amazing, even better than we expected.Their clean up was beyond incredible, not only the yard but the sidewalk and street were left spotless. We have a small HOA and our trees had been neglected for a few years. We have a large sycamore and a tall palm tree that were our primary focus. One of our residents has a large oak that also needed a little work, but that was negotiated separately. We sought five competitive bids, which was an interesting and educational experience. One company didn?t bother to bid because the job was too small for them to consider. Some bid very high, probably for the same reason. Bartlett Tree Experts was our final choice, but not only because of price. Upon making the initial appointment, we received an email with a photograph and brief biography of the arborist. The representative, Sean Davis, was on time for the estimate, and understood our needs and our budget. The proposal included a link to their certificate of insurance. On the day of the work, everyone showed up prior to the scheduled start time. In talking to the men who would be doing the work, we learned that they have all attended various training classes and also know a lot about trees. We completed the walkthrough, and work began promptly at 8. Everything was completed and cleaned up by 10:30. We still marvel at how amazing the palm tree looks. We will be repeat customers.

The representative, Sean Davis, was very good. He came out with the estimate. There were 3 guys that came to work on the trees. They all looked very nice. They addressed my concern about how much was left on the Orange Tree immediately and fixed it to my satisfaction. I am very happy with them and would call them back.

They came and sprayed the tree to get rid of the caterpillars, and then came a couple days later (although not at the time they said; they were late, and almost missed me as I was going to work) to trim the tree. No apology for being late. They did an excellent job, however, and the owner/ manager of the company was very informative and helpful.

I have used Bartlett several times for these same trees, and have been happy with the service. Frank, the representative who comes out and gives estimates is very knowledgeable and accommodating, He makes suggestions, and never pushes extra services. The tree trimmers are on time, professional and do a good job of cleaning up after the job is finished. They are very considerate of the surrounding landscaping and make every effort to avoid causing any damage.

It went very well. They did a really nice job of pruning and spraying my peach trees. They came when they said that they would and did what they did. It was satisfactory and they cleaned up all the mess. I just had them that one year. I ultimately decided that I just did not really want to continue working with the peach tree anymore. They were knowledgeable. They are certified arborists and so it was not just somebody coming to hack at your tree. They knew what they were doing. Come harvest time, I just was finding it too stressful. I would not really know how to grade their price comparatively speaking because I did not really go for any other bids. I looked at Angie's List and I looked at their reviews and the fact that they were true arborists and not just mow and blow guys, I went with them based on that. The quality of the service was very good. Then, I had been pruning the trees myself and I had taken pruning classes but my husband had just died and I just did not feel like doing it myself that year. After I was freed up from that one year, I took a hard look at it and said, "You know, I just do not want to do it at all." Their responsiveness was very good. Promptness is important to me and if somebody does not show up on time, I remember. Their professionalism was very good. We did not have a lot of interaction. I opened the door and the gate and pointed them at the trees. They did what they did, picked up and left. I absolutely would use them again if I ever need to for any other reasons and recommend them.

They are fine. They did a good job. I felt like they knew what they were doing. I find the price expensive but I think it’s worthwhile. I think they were very professional. I think they are good company and I would recommend them to my friends.

Frank Bombardier came out to inspect the work to be done and provide an estimate. He was extremely competent and went over several options for various trees. He advised us on the pros and cons of each option. He didn't automatically try to sell the highest priced service - in a couple of cases he suggested that we only needed a lower level service which saved us some serious money. We trust his honesty and felt that he really did have our best interest at heart - not just their invoice. The crew that came out to do the work was professional, competent and friendly. They advised us on several details, and I'm glad we followed their suggestions. All of the trees came out looking great. We had no damage to any of the landscaping underneath the trees. They worked steadily the entire time they were here except for a brief lunch break, and they were reasonably quiet (no loud music). Everything was thoroughly cleaned up when they were done. At the end of the day we were very pleased with the results and felt that the price was reasonable. We have used them once before, and we plan on using them again in the future. A couple of neighbors came by to ask who did our tree work, and we recommended Bartlett without hesitation.
