Fantastic! Manny showed up ahead of time and was professional. He got both jobs done in a timely manner to boot. I would use them again.

JC and his crew were great. I had ordered lights on the recommendation of a LampsPlus employee but they were wrong for what I needed. JC took the time to explain what I need and even offered to send me info on what would work in my kitchen. He went out of his way to be helpful. We will reschedule once I have the correct lighting.

I called TEC and a few days later Hugo came out to bid the job. I received the estimate that night. I called back and set up an appointment. JC and his helper called 30 minutes before showing up on-time. They covered the entire bedroom with plastic before starting. Because the electrical circuit would be exposed to the eye I was very concentred that it be done perfectly. JC took me through all the steps that would be needed and reviewed each step with me as he completed. The job took a while but I couldn't be happier with the outcome. The power line is hardly noticeable. JC's attention to detail was exactly what I was looking for. Great execution. When they were done they cleaned everything up and vacuumed the bedroom floor.

We wanted to install an A/C unit in our 1955 house. The Electric Connection worked with our A/C contractor to provide the necessary upgrade to accomodate the needs for the A/C. Jerry arrived as scheduled. He consulted with the A/C technicians, then went to work. It took two electricians about 4 hours to complete the job. They were friendly and communicated with us throughout the time they were working. They cleaned up nicely, and assured us that we would have no problems with our electrical system.

Not sure if we had a miscommunication, but I was looking for an estimate for a small electrical fire that we had in our hallway. I spoke with Nick and he told me to come out and inspect was $90.00. I tried to explain that I just needed an estimate as I was hiring a fire inspector to locate the source but I don't think Nick and I were on the same page.

Very impressed with Luis and Roger. They were both organized and professional throughout with an extensive and detailed explanation of the installation process before the work began along with a fair and itemized price.

It too a week or so to get an appointment but after that everything went smooth. The guys showed up on time diagnosed the problem and replaced the 240V GFI breaker quickly. The Electric Connection is my go-to electrician. Always a great experience.

J.C. arrived on time and examined the situation. I had had a small electrical fire in the kitchen caused by a surge suppressor I was using for my washing machine, not a good idea. J.C. installed a new plug for the washer and checked all the other plugs in the kitchen to make sure they were safe. He explained everything thoroughly and answered every question I had. He was pleasant and efficient. He was excellent. The reason I gave a C in responsiveness, is that they were so busy, they couldn't schedule an appointment for a week and a half. I have used them before and found the service to be excellent and reliable, so that is why I was willing to wait.

It was an F. They tried to charge me for extra siding that they were supposed to replace. They didn't even do that. They put some scraps of wood on it instead so I never paid them. They tried to bill me for another $400 or something.

They're fast, friendly and efficient. They accomplished a seemingly impossible task. Kudos to JC.

It went well. They called 30 minutes prior to arrival as I had asked and arrived on time to what they had estimated when I had made my appointment. The tech was JC, and he was very thorough in checking the breaker as well as explaining my options regarding what it would take to relieve the situation of overloaded circuits. I've used these guys in the past, and I will use them in the future. I trust them.

JC was the technician He was very professional, very helpful with questions I recommend him highly. Did the work made some suggestions and was quick and effeciant. I am going to have them put in new box at a later date.

It went extremely well. Awesome technicians that are savvy, professional and personable. They've been our go-to electricians since 2005 and will continue to use them in the future.

I called on Monday at 5 pm and the phone answered then hung up. I called back at 5:02 pm and got the voice mail and left a voice message requesting a call back the next day with my name and number and location, the job I needed and the fact that I had been using them for years. No response. I called on Tuesday about 11 am and a woman took my number and told me I would be getting a call back. Knowing that the office closes promptly at 5 pm, I called for a 3rd time at 4:15 pm and a man answered the phone. He said I would have to talk to someone else to get a quote. I explained that my family are long time customers and that they know our houses. He didn't remember us. I added that I need to schedule the work before the weekend because I have guests coming. He said that there was no way because they were much to busy. They could not possibly install my new ceiling light before Wednesday of the following week. They were a very good company. They used to be responsive and seem to know their customers and care. Now I guess they have too much business because they did not return a single one of my 3 messages left both on voice mail and with a person, then they were quite cavalier about not being able to help me until over a week later for a simple replacement. This is not the company I remember. It's quite sad. I see there are other reviews about the fact that they have become unresponsive and too busy. I guess it's the Angie's List boost when companies do well on our recommendations, then don't want their old customers anymore because they have so many new ones. I would suggest that they come up with a better call back system and hire someone with customer service skills to handle their overflow of business. Because this attitude of your bothering us with your business is not a good long term strategy. I gave them a C overall instead of an F because even though they don't want my business anymore, they are probably still doing good work for the people they do want as customers.

Excellent provider! Called in advance and they had an appointment slot in a reasonable time-frame. They showed up promptly, discussed the scope of work, reviewed the previously described price range (no surprises) and did an efficient and clean installation of the outlets. Moreover, there was some miscommunication with the front office regarding the nature of the outlet, but the installation team adapted quickly and brought back the correct outlet without any extraneous discussion - just extremely professional and customer-service oriented throughout the whole job. Would 100% use them again (and likely will as we settle into our new home).

Great job. All people in the office I spoke with were professional and helpful; the electricians who came out were punctual, careful, did very neat work, communicated very well what they were doing and why, had good suggestions, and cleaned up great after the work was done. Would definitely hire again.

I am the manager of an apartment building in Culver City. I needed an electrician for this job. I wanted to work with a company that I can build a long term relationship with. I read all of the reviews for The Electric Connection on Angie's List and was impressed. I called late Thursday afternoon and spoke with owner Kim about the issue that I was having in one of my units. Kim was very nice and took the time to explain what was happening and what likely needed to be done to resolve the issue. Kim answered all of my questions and I was ready to schedule an appointment. Kim was honest and explained that his company was booked solid and would not be available until Wednesday due to the 3 day weekend. He asked if that would work and understood if I decided to go with another company. I decided to go with this company and I am so glad that I did! The company called me to let me know that the electrician was ahead of schedule and asked if he could come early or if I needed to stay with the original time frame. I was happy to have them come early. JC and his assistant Isaac arrived and I took them to the unit with the issues. I explained the issue and showed him a note from the tenant as well. JC checked the breaker box and quickly determined that the issue was not in the unit but with the electrical panel. I took the men downstairs to the electrical room. When JC opened the panel he not only found the issue with the unit in question but a serious problem with another unit. JC took the time to explain what we were looking at as well as what needed to be done to correct the issues. He gave me an estimate which was very reasonable. Then he got to work and repaired both issues and showed me everything throughout the process. I really appreciate the fact that JC was not only very knowledgeable but very friendly. Upon completion of the job JC gave me an Angie's List discount and the amount due was less than I expected. Thank you JC and Isaac for a job well done and I look forward to working with you again!

The service went well they installed a ceiling fan for us at a good price now our dining room looks complete.

We've used the Electric Connection before. We made appointment on 12/7/15; we we told initially they would be able to come out on either Wednesday or Thursday. They were able to come out on 12/8 and gave us a 2-hour window (2-4pm). JC called and was prompt and professional. He installed the new smoke detectors in less time than they originally quoted which was about 1.5 hours. He answered all of my questions. I was happy with their service.

These guys are great! They work quick, do a quality job, and don't try to gouge you on price. Highly recommended.
