I was so pleased with this company that I will use them and recommend them all the time. They were friendly and very meticulous about their job. They went above and beyond to make sure that every detail was thought through and the end result was beyond what I expected. They weren't the type to just get the job done but they wanted to get the job done right and have it to look right too.

Contact response was fast each time. The electrician and his assistant arrived inside the quoted time frame and wasted no time getting to work. The job was completed to our satisfaction.

Bob the electrician arrived with a fellow electrician and went to work after I explained that we had an open ground outlets in the kitchen and in the bathroom. Both rooms had been newly painted so was expecting the worst but they got ground connections from the bathroom vanity plumbing and from outside water pipe for the kitchen without damaging the painted wall. They showed us what they did and showed us that we now had proper ground with their electric plug tester. This is the second time we hired The Electric Connection and we will hire them again when the need arise. Thank you guys for a fine work.

I felt they were rude on the phone, they didn't want to answer my question, I was asking why is it cost so much to move a doorbell that was already installed, all they need to do is to move it a little bit and why does it cost so much at $175.00. They didn't answer my question, I have to keep on drilling them for an answer, its like I was bothering them with question and they don't want to be bothered.

I've used the Electric Connection before and I will exclusively use them in the future. Added 10 recessed lights, 3 ceiling fans and a slew of other electrical projects in a home we purchased. Careful, punctual, clean, professional, i couldn't be happier.

Gerardo and his assistant did an amazing job. This is the second time he has done work at my house and I am again totally impressed with his speed, professionalism, and suggestions about how to improve things. Note: if you have special circumstances for your job, ask to talk to an electrician to make sure you're getting an accurate estimate!

Needed to bring existing panels up to code and install new panels for an ADU. Very pleased with service and work done. Would recommend this company.

I recommend you avoid this provider, who quoted roughly $530 for a job that, as it turns out, an average person can do themselves for only about $20. My Angieslist project description was as follows: "In our kitchen we have two ceiling-mounted fluorescent light fixtures, each holding two bulbs. Both of these seem to have failed and need either repair or replacement." The provider's reply was commendably prompt: "Hi Jeff, We are happy to help you with this work. If you can give me a call I can go over pricing and availability with you. I can be reached at my office at 818-446-0888. Hope to hear from you soon. Thank you, Bob." So far, so good. When Bob, over the phone, asked me again to describe the problem, I told him I thought that either the "transformer" (ballast) had failed inside our fixtures, or that maybe something had gone wrong with the fixtures themselves. Brand-new bulbs I had put into the fixtures had failed to light, I said. Bob's said he would charge $90 for the first half hour of a service call, plus $80 for each half hour thereafter ($160-$170 per hour!). He said I must purchase new ballasts or new fixtures myself, ahead of time. If I wanted him to provide new ballasts, he would charge $90 each. If either fixture itself required replacement, I'd be on the hook for that also. In addition he warned me that I'd need to buy a new ballast for each bulb. Stunned, I said to Bob that I felt at a loss, not really knowing what I needed to do. He laughed, and told me call him back after I had had a chance to think about it. Being of independent mind, I investigated and discovered that the typical cost of a ballast is only $10, not $90, each, I also learned that most ballasts are designed to drive two bulbs, not one. In addition, I found a YouTube video by a kindly older gentleman who shows, step-by-step, how homeowners can replace a ballast themselves using only a screwdriver--see here: [*** Link removed ***] I opened my fixtures as shown in the video, and found that, just as I had seen, my old ballasts could easily be removed. I could take these to Home Depot and say "I need a couple of these". The two new ballasts will total just $20, and I can replace them myself as shown in the video, for free. Thus I'm able to sidestep Bob's shocking $170 per hour service call and his outrageous (actually falsified) quote of $360 for four, not two, replacement ballasts. If customer service was actually a priority for Bob, I believe he would have directed me to a video like the one I easily found on YouTube to educate myself--even if he truly believes in his heart-of-hearts that customers can/should do such repairs themselves,. I submit that Bob should have directed me to further helpful information in this case. Instead he treated me with what I believe amounts to patent disrespect. What do YOU think?

great-on time and well done...good office follow up

I called the Electric Connection and they were able to send out a technician the next day. Luis arrived on time and quickly determined the problem was caused by loose wiring in the panel. He tightened up the offending wiring and then spent time to make sure all the breaker connections were also clean and secure. Luis also took a look at my main service panel to advise me on any additional issues. I really appreciate the time he took to make sure the job was done correctly and will definitely call the Electric Connection again for any of my electrical issues.

The technicians were prompt and friendly, and they did the work in good time. It was a small job: just a few light switches that needed to be replaced with dimmers. They also helped me diagnose a problem with an electrical outlet (but did not fix it, because that was work well outside the scope of what I asked them for, so I requested they leave it alone for now -- but I'll hire them back to fix it later).

James and Lorenzo were on time and completed the task

We unexpectedly needed to get a tankless water heater and needed an outdoor outlet installed for it. I called The Electric Connection and they were very helpful on the phone, gave me a quote of what the job would cost and were able to get out to us the next day. James and Lorenzo let me know when they were on their way and when they got here they were super nice, helpful and explained everything they were doing. Everything looks great, they got it done quickly and cleaned up after themselves completely. I will definitely be calling The Electric Connection again if we need any more electrical work!

The electrician ( Jose ) came on time, inside a two hour window. Jose called ahead to make sure how many fixtures we wanted. When he arrived he accessed the kitchen and quoted a price which was a very reasonable. The work was done professionally and we are happy with our new lighting.

I got an estimated over the phone. Was a good range base on the length of line I needed. They came on time installation was done in about an hour. They also replaced my electrical panel a couple years ago when I had solar put in

This company did a fine job for us last year. The technician, Louise, was first rate. Unfortunately, this year when I called an electrician isn't available to come here for at least three weeks. Kicking a repeat customer to the curb like that is bad business. I'm selling the house now so that doesn't cut it. I can't wait three weeks. Maybe ten days. This is the type of business where you can not have these kinds of lags in service time. They are good but whatever your problem is it will just have to wait to they get around to it. I can no longer recommend this group.

Technician Manny is a true expert in his field. He has a great depth of understanding on each project and his workmanship is superior, often above and beyond what is required. With the help of hard-working assistant Adam they can be counted on to arrive on time and get the work done to the highest standards. At the office, Fabio has handled phone requests with grace.
