Appointment was set up within a reasonable amount of time. Jerry arrived on time. He was, as before, professional and personable. It was a simple job so it was done quickly and efficiently. Pricing was reasonable. I've used the Electric Connection numerous times and they have never disappointed me. Thank you.

Julio & Will were on time, did the multiple small jobs thoroughly, explained options to me when there were options, did good work, and cleaned thoroughly before they left. We're new to LA but you will be our Electricians from now on. Bob was pleasant and personable on the phone, broke down their charges thoroughly in advance. Julio pointed out the charge for each item before they started the job, and again at the end.

From the first email asking about services to the completion of the job, The Electric Connection did as much as I could have possibly wanted. Our kitchen lights were constantly flickering, and we could not figure out if it was wiring, electrical output, etc. - and did not want try to pretend we could fix it ourselves. Upon emailing our request, I quickly received an email about diagnostic rates and earliest availability - appreciated the immediate upfront notice on cost and timing. JC arrived at our house right in between the hour window provided, and recognized what was the issue at first glance. Prior homeowners had put in dimmers that were never compatible with the bulbs used. He then proceeded to inquire about some of our other dimmers - which also did absolutely nothing but go on or off with no dimming capability. He noted he could either rewire, recommend new bulbs, or replace the switches - without any pressure to do any of the three if it didn't bother us. Ended up replacing four switches within an hour which didn't bite into any additional hour of services. He also reminded me of the coupon - which I had already printed but left in my office. 100% recommend this company and especially JC for the service provided!

The guys were great and arrived about 30 minutes into the 2 hour time frame they gave me. They were professional, friendly and did a great job in moving the outlet. They cleaned up the area after they were done and did it more quickly than I expected. As a result, I only had to pay the minimum which was less than I was expecting.

They did an excellent job overall. JC diagnosed a problem and even called the city for us and reported a problem that need to be fixed by the city.

Everything was great. JC and his partner were extremely courteous, friendly and professional. He also reminded me about the coupon (which I had totally forgotten about). Would definitely hire again!

Called on Wednesday. Spoke to one person who explained the cost schedule based on panel, distance between the changer and the main panel. I agreed and was passed to some one to schedule. Was able to get a Friday appointment at 8AM. The guys came out sized up the job and gave me the final estimate. It matched exactly what I was told over the phone. The guys went to work running the cables and attaching the EVSE to the house. They obviously had done many of these because they knew what questions to ask. In addition I asked them to add a ZigBee load control device to the EVSE so that I could monitor the energy usage through my Glendale Water & Power smart meter. The guys did a really nice job installing the EVSE on the house. I am glad since it is visible to people visiting. The cleaned up and left me a happy customer.

I bought a Tesla, and picked The Electric Connection from Tesla's list of authorized electricians, largely because they are so well rated on Angie's List. The installation proved to be extremely complicated because of the way our electrical system is set up, but we are so impressed with The Electric Connection! We are working directly with J.C. Olivera, and he is so patient and knowledgeable that we wish all the tradespeople we deal with were like him. He takes all the time that is needed, explains everything clearly and thoroughly, works with the in-house techs (Nick Herran, in our case) to find an efficient and affordable solution, and is just a pleasure to deal with. Really, everyone we've encountered here had made this job a lot more pleasant. We will certainly use The Electric Connection in the future.

I have been trying, unsuccessfully, to install a motion light onto an older, rectangular junction box. After many trips to the hardware store, I finally threw in the towel and turned to Angie's List where I stumbled across Nick at The Electric Connection. Not only did he understand my issue right away, but within 5 minutes he emailed me a link to the part I needed and told me exactly how to install it. Free advice?!? Wow!!!! I am now fit to install my light but I know who I will call if I ever have another electrical issue that I can't solve! Thanks Nick!

Wow. What a great experience. The Electric Connection responded promptly to my call and had two electricians, JC (a certified journeyman) and his apprentice, at my house by the next business day. They called to give me a heads up when the electricians were on their way. They showed up when they said they would. They were friendly and very professional. JC was very knowledgeable, efficient and thorough in checking the wiring and the ground. He explained what he was checking, what he found, and what work he performed. He was honest, and the price was fair and reasonable. I could not have asked for a better experience - and I have to tell you, I have had some really bad experiences with other vendors in the past. This company will definitely be my go to vendor for electrical work in the future.

The office staff were excellent on the phone. The electrician was on time and properly attired. His tools and approach to the work were top notch. He worked in the rain, and checked numerous connections from the thermostat to the unit itself. One 'leg' of the 240 volts had failed due to aging wiring. He replaced the two hot wires from the main breaker box to the roof top air/heat unit, pulled a ground wire, tested all fuses and breakers and waited while we started the furnace to be sure all was working. He answered all questions and was thorough and cleaned up all the debris despite working in the rain. He (Jerry) was very courteous. They are now our "go-to" electricians. The company should be proud to have such a valuable asset in their employ.

We needed two ceiling fans removed and replaced with pendant lamps. Excellent customer service start to finish. Quoted price was the completed price and work was performed to satisfaction. Would definitely recommend and use again.

JC came to the house, who is extremely nice and polite. He investigated the panel, looked at the outlets throughout the house, and then took apart the switch. He found the issue quickly and resolved it! After he was done, he asked if I had any questions on anything else and I showed a few. He gave me a high level view of what it would take to resolve. I am very satisfied with the work.

The company was instrumental in expediting the DWP Spotting Inspection and in helping me to meet various DWP requirements. They were also both efficient and pleasant to work with throughout the entire process. This Company gets my highest recommendation.

J.C. Olivera came with an assistant and he was extremely knowledgeable, polite, efficient, & explained everything. He was scrupulously honest, giving me alternatives and estimates. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the amazingly reasonable price. Highly recommend without reservation & will definitely use him again.

Ceiling fan - TASTIC! The men who came to install the fans were great. They were friendly and very thorough. As I know nothing about electrical work - and I'm sure my wife wouldn't want me even attempting it - it was important to have someone who was not only proficient, but able to explain what they were doing and how they would proceed. They were on time and worked quickly. They took down the old fans (even disassembled them so they were easy for me to haul to e-waste), assembled the new fans (which we had already picked out) and installed them without any issues to the ceiling. They cleaned up any mess they made. Aside from doing great work, they were professional and courteous. I recommend them!

JC did a fantastic job of fixing the severe problem at hand! I would highly recommend this company, should you have any electrical issues.

JC showed up right on time (or maybe even a few minutes early), listened as I rattled off my list of electrical issues and then went to work trying to discover the root of these issues. As it turns out, the "burned out" switches were simply wired incorrectly as were the occupancy switches that turned on at random. Wires were run to the new outlets from holes made in the walls of junction boxes by the electricians, rather than removing the junction box, properly running the wire through the pre-existing holes in the boxes and re-installing the boxes. Lights that were intended to be mounted using 2 screws were held in place by only one screw. And, what I assumed was a fairly minor annoyance with a "rattle" coming from one of my new Panasonic Whisper Quiet vent fans turned out to be a major issue. The new fans with a 6" exhaust were not connected to the 3" duct, causing warm moist air to blow into the space above my ceiling. It's obvious that the other electricians don't have a clue what they're doing. JC was thorough in his investigation, explained exactly what was wrong and what needed to be done to fix everything. He recommended buying a "hard start" for my HVAC unit to minimize any issues with power surges and referred me to a supplier. He also told me exactly what materials to buy at Lowes or Home Depot before his next visit. I can't wait to put this all behind me. I have complete confidence in JC and The Electric Connection and can't imagine ever using another electrician.
