The Electric Connection

The estimate was done by Ramiro. He and his team showed up on time. They came out to the house and took every switch and plug plate off to inspect the wiring. He provided me the estimate after 30 minutes. He explained the process in detail. Ramiro explained that running new wire through these old walls was not an easy task and holes would have to be made in the walls. He was clear about what would be done and what would not be done. I called on a Monday to proceed with the job and the team showed up (on time) the next day. Turns out Ramiro was also the foreman for my job. He reviewed again what the process would be and that the job would take 3 days. I then went off to work and left his team to have at it. The team did an amazing job. They were polite, professional and best of all neat. They placed cloths everywhere and at the end of the day cleaned up before leaving. I am so satisfied with this whole experience. All contractors should be this good!

We initially spoke with Kim on the phone who was very professional and helpful. Right away the customer service proved to be great. Luis arrived right on time and was very knowledgeable (he made sure that we didn't overload our circuit and gave us a lot of guidance on the best way to wire everything). Luis did a great job on our bathroom vent and also did a very, very clean and safe installation of the electrical on our outdoor barbecue/kitchen. We will definitely call Electric Connection again and ask for Luis.

Went smoothly and perfectly. They figured out challenges quickly, were VERY friendly and professional. I have the utmost confidence in using them again!

Knowledgeable electrician did an excellent job tracing down a short circuit and installing new wiring to fix the problem, which took about three hours. Installing the GFI took 20 minutes. The original invoice contained a pricing error, but when the owner found out about it he was very apologetic and bent over backwards to fix it. This company is great.

The new timer is wonderful! And they also gave me good advice about possible future projects but as helpful information, not in a pushy way. They are highly professional.

He arrived within 30 minutes of when I called the company and completed the job within 30 minutes. We couldn't be more pleased with his work and will use and recommend him in the future.

The Electric Connection was definitely my second choice, but I went with a company I'd used several times before.

The company arrived too late to finish all the work I had for them. I wrote up a report detailing what happened. The company responded with an apology and a refund of the money I paid them. I was really pleased by this and now I might try them again in the future as they did do good work.

Company was extremely professional. I phoned on Tuesday and was able to schedule an appointment the following Saturday. They called to confirm the appointment which I appreciated. Alex was the electrician they sent and he was on time and a delight to work with. He put on shoe covers to protect my carpeting which surprised me since I didn't even ask. He laid tarp throughout the house and taped off the work area to make sure the dust would not get all over. They did tell me that I would need to have a larger hole cut in the ceiling which will have to be patched. Exhaust fan was installed without a hitch. They even sent over a painter to give me an estimate to patch and paint the ceiling. Now that is total service! I would use this company again in the future and based on my experience would tell anyone who needed electrical work done to use this company.

They finished the project after a couple of attempts.

I am so glad to have found this company. David was very friendly and informative when I called to get a quote. When I described the work, he gave me an idea of how much it would cost, but suggested that they would send someone out to give me a firm proposal. They scheduled the estimate at my convenience and Hugo showed up on time. Very pleasant and very professional. He walked through the work I wanted done and gave me a written estimate, including the re-wiring of the kitchen. I decided to postpone the re-wiring. When I expressed surprise that the work wasn't being done that day (my misunderstanding), Hugo got on the phone and located a crew and they came later that day. The three guys were great! The crew boss was also named Hugo. The fan was a nasty, dirty job. No complaints. They each took a job and when the 2 replacing fixtures were done, they came to me and asked if there was anything else they could do while the third finished the fan! I have found my electricians.

The work was excellent. I purchased the unit at an electrical shop for $17 at wholesale cost. The same fixture I found on the internet for $135.00 (be careful when shopping on the internet). Robert and a helper showed up on time and performed the work within 25 minutes even with the helper going in the attic to assist with the installation. They were neat, cleaned up all the loose debris.

Fantastic. They arrived on time and were very nice. The work was thorough, they didn't make a mess and were very diligent about making sure everything was working properly before leaving. A pleasure to work with!

Hugo did a very thorough job of looking at the current configuration and count of the switches, outlets and lights. We talked about adding a few outside lights to areas that seemed like it would be difficult such as the bottom of beams on the front porch. Quote was given to me on the spot. Electric connection was available to start on the next Monday. For the price, it included a 200 volt line to a new AC, several new circuits including attic furnace, garbage disposal and dishwasher and porch lights. It also included finish grade patching for all holes in the ceiling and walls. The communication from the company was excellent and I can't say enough good things about the crew that was sent to do the work. Ernie and his crew were extremely clean, professional and friendly. All spoke very good English, so communication was never a problem. I never worried about leaving them in my home alone. Always on time. Switches moved to consistent level. David gave me a quick quote over email. I scheduled the appointment for Monday between 8 and 9 a.m. At 9 a.m., no show, so I called and they apologized for a scheduling mix up and got someone there right away. Luis was professional, explained what he needed to do, and gave me a cost at the low end of what was quoted to me. He finished the job on time and everything came out just the way I wanted it.

He came on time and he was very knowledgeable. He was very accurate when he said that it would take him about fifteen minutes to do the work as it took just fifteen minutes. The parts were also included in the price.

They arrived on time. Did the work. Clean-up after themselves. Honored the quotes given on the phone. Even when they ran into problems they didn't expect the price didn't change. They walked me through everything they did and answered all my questions before they left. The workman were polite.

These guys did quality work. Estimate came in $500 under other estimates we received and they stuck to it. They offered to dig the trench for the underground work, but we decided to save ourselves $350 and do it ourselves. It was just a little shy of being deep enough, so they dug down another inch with no extra charge! The city inspector was just here and said all the work is "excellent". So we're pleased with the work! Only problem with workers, we had drained hot-tub and unplugged, they plugged it back in without looking or asking, overheated motor. My only recommendation is to make certain that the estimate is correct. I requested 40-40 breaker on front panel and he wrote 20-20 on the estimate, which I signed without looking. It was important to the job, but not a problem when I told them what had happened. My advice is to look very closely at the estimate before signing :) Also, office gave us $100 Angie's List coupon after we paid, forgot to mention it at payment. Good Guys!

Came in, started working... Worked fast, efficiently, and did a PERFECT job. NOT ONE scuff mark in the surrounding white walls.

The guys worked quickly but thoroughly. Their professionalism and quick response were the main reasons I picked them for the job. They showed up when they said they would, finished when they said they would and did a good job cleaning up. I also thought the price they charged was fair.

We purchased a 1916 craftsman with wiring just as old. I called the Electric Connection to estimate how much it would cost to update the wiring in the entire house. Hugo came out, on time and professional, and estimated $5,000 and approximately 3 days for completion. I was so impressed with Hugo that I immediately booked his company. When they came out a few weeks later, their work was professional and satisfactory, despite a couple mornings of tardiness. As they worked, my husband and I added a few requests here and there, and the guys readily made the changes we wanted. In the end, we paid $500 more than we thought, most of which was our late add-ons. The job took two more days than predicted. Regardless, the customer service was outstanding and I'd highly recommend them for any job.

Very well! They were quick, fully efficient, and only made a few scuff marks on the walls.

You folks were not our first electrical contractor, but you are the only one we will call back for future work. Your company provided an initial over-the-phone estimate, and discussed various options and potential pitfalls. When the on-site estimator arrived, he was extremely polite and knowledgeable, and promptly gave me an estimate significantly lower than the original quote provided to me over the phone! The team you sent out to do the work was friendly, quick and amazingly clean; they didn t leave a shred of loose-fill fiberglass on the floor, even after crawling around in the attic for a few hours. They finished ahead of schedule, too.

Louis did an excellent job and now all of the outlets are working again. He spent over an hour and didn't charge excessive amounts. The price was very reasonable. We would use them again. The only issue is that the company forgot to call to let us know when he was going to show up.

Everything went well. Alex showed up on time, did solid work, and was diligent in cleaning up from himself. I found an electrician for all of my future projects.
