Everything was great. They did an excellent job. They also returned promptly to fix a problematic light fixture. They have a very good attitude, and the gentlemen that came knew exactly what they were doing.

Omar Bonilla and Raoul did a lot of work for me in a couple of days. Electric Connection initially came to my house contracted by JW Heating & Air to supply power for a furnace and air conditioner. They were very professional and did good work so I had them come back to do all of the additional jobs. Recessed lighting is a tricky thing to do because your initial plan can turn out to be impossible due to the layout of the ceiling beams. Omar and Raoul were very patient as I fine tuned how it should be as we learned the logistical challenges. They were very easy to work with. I would recommend that if you are planning to install recessed lighting that you take the time to be in the house when they are drilling pilot holes to determine what will and won't work. That way you can adjust everything accordingly and come up with something you are happy with. My living room is an odd shape and I think the lighting scheme we came up with is very good.

This is the ONLY company you should consider using. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and they saved the company a ton of money. They're professional, punctual and courteous, The Electric Connection played a VITAL role in negotiating the scope of work necessary by LA DWP and Building and Safety. I am confident in saying that had we not used them, we would have been forced to spend 10x more.

Provided next day service. Arrived on time. The 2 technicians worked quickly, and were able to perform all work by accessing wiring in existing switches/outlets without damaging wall board. Technicians were knowledgeable, fast, and friendly. Excellent overall experience. I was so pleased with their work, that when I had circuit breaker problems about a month later, I had no hesitation calling Electric Connection to troubleshoot and fix the problem (circuit breaker was loose and heated up and needed to be replaced).

Fabulous. The owner Kim was so helpful. He did everything possible to make this affordable for me. They also (by mistake) installed the smoke detectors and instead of taking them back he just threw them in as part of the deal. They didn't leave huge holes and did a really good patch job. They were punctual and thorough and finished the whole house in 3 days.

Their estimate was the the lowest out of about 4 estimates that I received. Plus, they gave me good, lower priced options too. Hugo, the estimator, was very polite and knowledgeable (I'm an electrical engineer). He spent the time to let me know exactly what he was planning to do and why. After the estimate, they spent time answering my follow up questions. On the day of work, they showed up 1hr late (9am for 8am appointment). Not really a problem since it was an all day job and I had the day off anyway. But I was annoyed/concerned that they did not phone ahead to let me know. Work was performed quickly and professionally. No problems with any of the work, I give it a B for now, and will come back to edit my response if there are any problems in the future. They gladly accepted the $100 coupon AFTER their estimates were completed (anything less is not really a discount in my mind). [update: it's been 6 months and there have been no problems with my electrical system. I've upgraded the quality rating to an "A".]

They were upfront in explaining that they do not provide services related to security cameras. They also went a BIG step further by referring me to Secure Technology & Communications, Inc. - a firm that I did contact and I have just submitted a glowing report regarding that very positive experience. Meanwhile, it is important to note that because of this no-charge good-faith referral, Electric Connection WILL be receiving calls from me for my upcoming electrical projects!

When Ramiro first came he really took time to give us a quote. Certified electrician. On day of service appointment, laid down plastic and painter's mats. When they were done, not a speck of dust anywhere. Really knew what they were doing. Professional. Only one who went outside and looked at the breaker box and pointed out that my unit is actually short on breakers which is dangerous. Also went above and beyond in the house -- looked at wire insulation, etc. Even brought his own wood to mount a light that had fallen out of it's housing in my closet! Would definitely use them again! Extremely thorough and speedy. Estimated 4 hours but finished in under 3!

All went well. They responded quickly, were polite and informed. The work was performed in a timely manner and everything works great!

The technician arrived on time (though, we didn't get the half-hour warning call that was promised). He was extremely polite and professional. He didn't have enough time to address our long list of issues, but the ones he did address were done to our satisfaction. Our only complaint is that the work seemed to take much longer than we expected (maybe we were too optimistic). An assistant would have helped move things along more quickly and would have saved us some money, as they charge by the half-hour. As noted above, we need more electrical work done in our house and will certainly ask them to come back when the time is right. Next time, I'll request that an assistant accompany the tech.

Wow... I can't say enough good things about this company. I had 6 electricians out before Electric Connection and 6 uniquely bad experiences. Alex came out exactly on time, very cool, very professional and very straightforward without any "pushy salesman" attitude. The quote, though not cheap, was reasonable. Alex and Hector were professional, polite, and did a great job (and it was not an easy job). I couldn't be more pleased and when I have the next job I will definitely be calling them back!

They prompt, professional, and knew what they were doing. When they first arrived, they did not have the necessary equiptment to find the issue. In order to continue, the supervisor had to come out and ok the project. They came back the next day, but did cut off a couple of hours on the fee to account for this. The job was completed to my satisfaction. They also called to let me know when they were coming.

I had a smoke alarm that wouldn't turn off. I called The Electric Connection and they send someone within a couple of hours. The electrician arrived on time. He resolved the problem quickly and checked all the other smoke alarms. He asked if there was anything else he could help with, so I asked him to replace some broken light switches. He reminded me about the discount coupon, so I not only got great service, but for $25 off.

I have used them for several jobs, big and small, indoors and out, and the are always fast, professional and reliable.

He told us what it would cost and he gave us good advice. I had a junction box that was halfway completed and he told me that what had been done was good and I did not need to do anything for. He was very good and we appreciate his input. He also gave us an estimate for a job that I had in mind but we are not prepared to do it yet. He didn't try to overdo anything and I appreciate what he told us.

Called them on Thursday afternoon and work was completed Friday morning. Prompt, courteous, neat and affordable. I will definitely use them again.

We had three electricians bid on the job. The Electric Connection were the middle price, but their representative inspired the most trust in us so we went with them. We scheduled about a week ahead of time, and they estimated that it would take five days to complete (it actually took 6.5 days). Their crew of three was very good at checking with us at any decision points and letting us know what was going on, and although they did make one mistake (leaving an old wire to some lights, which was concealed under some crown molding), they came back and re-did those connections without complaint. Our only other complaint was that they were not expert at patching the holes (we have textured walls, so it wasn't trivial), but then again we probably shouldn't have expected that. We have since used them a couple of times for other small updates, and they've been equally good.

I called for an appointment and the office personnel was very friendly. They at first gave me a 2-hour window in the middle of the day, but since this is rental property and I do not live on the premises, I asked for a smaller window, or if they could call me half hour ahead of time. He then changed my appointment to 8:30 sharp. I told him that I didn't mind a window of time as long as he could call me ahead, but he said that since I was the first appointment, I didn't need a window and insisted that they would be there at 8:30 sharp. Morning of the appointment, I called my tenant at 8:00 a.m.to remind him that the electrician was on their way, only to find out that the tenant could not be there. I was in the middle of my breakfast and dropped everything to RUSH over there so I would not keep them waiting. I was ONE minute early. After 15 minutes of waiting, I called the office to confirm the appointment and was told that he was on his way. After a half hour of waiting and no courtesy call to inform me, I called again at 9:00 was told that he would be there in 10 minutes. He finally showed up at 9:12 a.m. Two friendly guys showed up and went right to work. They seem to know their job and completed the repair within only 20 to 30 minutes. I then asked him if he would check all of my smoke detectors (4 units), which he did and found one needed replacing. I had new ones on the garage at the units and gave it to him to install. He has finish with everything and writing my invoice at 10:03 a.m. I thought I had seen a statement on their website that if they are EVEN ONE MINUTE LATEL, the service call was FREE, but when I asked about it, he said he didn't know anything about that. Since I had called several people before deciding on their company, I thought maybe it was one of the other companies. However, when I got back home, I went to the website and there it was FREE SERVICE CALL if they are even ONE minute late. Although I thought that offer was a bit too generous, I did email the company and reminded them of their ad and told them how long I waited without even one call from the driver or the office (it was I who kept calling them). IMMEDIATELY, I got a VERY APOLOGETIC call from the owner and told me that he had just insituted that policy and everyone did not know of it as yet. He INSISTED on giving me a refund. I told him that I appreciated the offer, but thought it was EXTREMELY generous, as people do sometimes run into traffic, but would have been nice to just get a call to let me know. He agreed and again INSISTED on keeping his promise to refund the service call. I told him that I needed electrical work at my home and would schedule an appointment to which he could credit it toward my bill. I had out-of-town guest and didn't get around to scheduling my repair right away, so 2 weeks later he gives me a reminder call to see if I wanted to schedule the appointment of preferred that he mail me a refund. I am a senior citizen woman, and can not EVER remember anyone being that honest. WHAT A REFRESHING EXPERIENCE. I will definitely use this company ANY time I need electrical services in the future. I rarely feel comfortable recommending contractors, but I can recommend this company with a clear conscience.

The installers arrived on time and completed the job in just over an hour. They were very professional and cleaned up the area after installation. Great job!

The technician came within 2 hours of my call. As is often the case with electrical, it took some time and detective work to diagnose the problem. Since he did not have an assistant, I helped out a little to expedite things. Once he found the problem, he removed the old cloth-covered wire and replaced it with proper 12 gauge wire and made sure everything was grounded and safe. He was courteous, professional and helpful in his explanations. I've got my outlets back and I feel I got a good value for my money.

Scheduling was easy, and the workmen showed up on time. Their arrival time was 8 AM. I walked Luis through the needed work. He explained how he would do each thing, and gave me estimates as he went along. I approved of the estimate, so Luis and his assistant went to work right away. I discussed with him the possibility of wiring a doorbell from my front gate, but it would be difficult because of the flagstone. This wasn't the first time I'd been told that by a contractor. But Luis went to the store and bought a wireless doorbell and installed it. It works great. They were polite, and unobtrusive. They finished in the afternoon and left everything working, and everything cleaned up.

I was offput a bit by the gentleman who answered the phone. I needed an extreme rush. I knew I was asking a lot - but got a little bit of attitude from him. However, Robert came out the same day & gave me an appraisal & was back the next 2 days with an assistant and completed the job. They were excellent. Professional, neat & very nice. Perhaps I just misread the original contact's tone of voice. It's possible. I would use this company again in a heartbeat and will recommend them to all my friends and business acquaintances.
