I can only give them the highest recommendation. I had some trouble explaining the first job I wanted them to do but they understood after I emailed a picture of the problem (at their suggestion). They sent Robert, who immediately struck me as a trustworthy character who would tell me the truth. He solved my initial problem and then we discussed several other lighting and electrical issues I wanted to fix or change here. He had lots of good ideas, he listened, and he didn't try to force anything on me. I wanted to replace a ceiling fan in one bathroom and he suggested a light/fan combo and said he could pick up the fixture for me. I asked if it was good quality and he said yes, but it would be more expensive if I bought it from him instead of shopping for it myself and letting him install it. Okay, fair play. He installed it and it is great quality, much quieter than before and I can see what I'm doing for once. I wouldn't have known where to begin looking for such a thing and because of Robert I have the perfect solution to that particular lighting/electrical problem. Some of the wiring behind the walls has turned out to be a mess but he (and a couple times with an assistant, Albert) has been able to sort it out without any excuses, drama, delay, or extra charges. They show up on time, they are professional, they won't bs you, they will do an outstanding job for you. Glad I found them.

5/20/2013 - They came out on short notice to fix a meltdown where the dishwasher plugs into the outlet. The dishwasher plug had melted, so they bought a new cord and plug and replaced the melted one on the dishwasher. Improved the grounding on the outlet, replaced 2 prong outlet with 3 prong and got the whole thing running safely again. They took the time to ask if we needed anything else and installed an additional outdoor light for us and several minor fixes. As usual they were on-time, skilled/good quality, efficient and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

It went very well - the disconnection happened without incident although they moved our dryer and disconnected the vent on the back in the process. The reconnection was equally easy even though they had to deal with a difficult wire routing into the house due to the age of the conduit and the fact that we had shear paneling in the basement that blocked their access. They managed to run new wires from the main circuit breaker all the way to the garage and everything works great,

Electric Connection was very professional, arrived on time, and gave a detailed bid. I was in contact with Kim, the owner of the company, who is extremely knowledgable, pleasurable to speak with, and took a great amount of time to explain in detail what was going to happen if I chose Electric Connection. In the end, their prices were higher than most of my other bids, but Kim will tell you it's because he has worker's comp and these are his employees, not freelance/contracted workers, so his expenses can be higher than other companies. While this is a legitimate reason for the pricing on the bid, I ended up going with a smaller company to save a couple thousand dollars, and the work will not be performed as quickly as Kim could've completed it. If you choose Electric Connection for your job, I'm sure you would be very happy with the work, and how easy it is to get in touch with someone (even Kim!) if you have questions. If I had a little extra padding in my budget, I would've chosen them, hands-down.

Very quick and painless. the technician was Zenon and he showed up right on time was super friendly and clean. He took care of the job in 30 minutes and that was that. best experience I've ever had with an electrician.

These guys are fast, efficient, polite, reasonable, professional, and easy to work with. They honor coupons from Angie's List, have a very thorough switchboard operation, and their costs are super-reasonable. Excellent. Would call again without question.

They did a fine job and completed everything I requested including installing a separate metal box to hold my sprinkler timer which had been inside the old panel compartment. The whole thing was done in one day.

Started out by checking electrical box indoors and out (circuit breakers). Found shorted out outlet behind bed in western wall of house.

I had had this "shorting" problem in my pool pump for over a year. These were the third guys I had look at it. The electrician found the problem quickly....did the fi...didn't try to upsell...was polite and thorough. I highly recommend them.

This was my first time purchasing a Big Deal so did not know what to expect. They arrived on time and git to work. While they were there, I also asked about some other electrical work I needed done and had previously been told would be complicated and expensive. I needed my kitchen light above the sink separated from the overhead ceiling fan as the light bulbs would burn out because in order to run the fan, the light above the sink would be on constantly. We had just resigned to not having a light there. Also, I needed him to run a new line for our garbage disposal which had been installed for months but unusable. The technician took a look while his co-worker continued on the fan and to my surprise said it was no problem and would only be $150 for each task. And he could do it right then. He did the tasks in a reasonable amount of time, did a really incredible job and was respectful of my house. I was ecstatic!

The electrician was punctual and clean cut. He finished without any issues, no mess or wires sticking out, the job was done very well. It's really helpful having an outlet outside now, we can plug in radios, chargers, or whatever else we might need while lounging in the backyard. Good deal!

The advice I received was just what I needed. They could not have been nicer. I will definatly call them for any electrial needs I may have in the future.

I had a circuit breaker that tripped unexpectedly. Contacted Electric Connection via Angie's List email on a Friday night. I understood they were closed over the weekend. Received a prompt email response Monday morning from Luis. I'm leery of all things electrical but I tried his suggestion of flipping the breaker all the way off and then back on. This worked temporarily but the breaker tripped again. I called Bob who was able to arrange an appointment that afternoon. He gave me a 2-3 hour window and called me 30 minutes prior to their arrival. He also explained their service call fees. Luis arrived right on time, diagnosed the problem quickly (space heater overloading circuit), and replaced the breaker. I have been wanting to establish a relationship with a good electrician and I believe I have found them. Prompt response, reasonable pricing, timely arrival, and excellent communication.

These guys came out to the house promptly and fixed the problem quickly. Our electrical system is a little quirky because some people who owned our house decades ago put in two different circuit boxes. One of the boxes has two main circuit breakers - one for the house and one for the detached garage, and neither one had been properly set up; on top of that, there are a whole bunch of sub-circuit breakers in both boxes, and almost nothing was appropriately labeled. We have had problems on and off, and on a couple of occasion called local electricians who did some small fixes, but nothing that stuck. These guys recommended putting in two new switches (because the best fix of replacing the whole system is not something we can afford at the moment), which they did, and then they also labeled everything. We have had not one problem since they fixed it! They were friendly, fast and competent.

We moved into our new apartment a couple months before the service was done with this amazing company. I was traveling a lot and didn't have the chance to actually check up their reviews and what others had to say about them but once I called to set up an appointment I was hooked. I can tell you that they do have a good salesman (whoever set up the appointment- didn't catch his name) but that wasn't the reason as to why I actually scheduled with them. The reason I did is because the guy who answered the telephone was very confident in what he told me and answered my questions to his best knowledge. I needed a few things done in my kitchen and my bathroom. I am definitely not going to get technical because I will re-direct you to a completely different place that has nothing to do with electricity. These guys were very fast and efficient. I will use them again in the future. Very nice.

I purchased three Angie's List deals for installing ceiling fans for $100 per fan. The Electric Connection called me to make the appointment - they didn't wait for me to call them! On the date of service, the men arrived early, installed the fans quickly and even taught me how to use the remote controlls. They put plasic down so that they didn't damage anything in my home, and the men were polite and trustworthy. I'm thinkng of having some additional electrical work done in my house (installing outlets and a light in a closet that presently has no electricity), and I would definitely use the Electric Connection again based on this experience.

From the very beginning these guys were excellent! I was withought power in my bedroom for three days while waiting for another company to get back to me. I found these guys and gave them a call and they were here within 4 hours. They called to tell me they were on their way, told me wht they thought it was as soon as they figured it out and then told me what it would take to do the job etc... Luis Fierro was the technician they sent and I cant say enough about his professionalism and the neat and timely manner in which he got everything done. I will only use these guys from now on.

Ernie, electrician, and his assistant arrived on time, went over orders given by home owner to company on previous day, viewed work locations, updated orders at owners request after review by Ernie on site, owners (self and husband) approved work details and costs. Ernie and assistant obtained tools and equipment from service van and began work. As the work proceeded, Ernie provided updates and asked for additional clarifications. The communications between the workers and home owners was clear and concise during the entire process which took about 4 hours including cleanup of work locations. We would hire this company and their employees again without hesitation.

Arrived on time. (2) workers did the work in timely manner. Difficult job, had to crawl under the house and run a line about 50 feet. My only complaint was that when the job was done, I asked the lead man to send me an estimate, for a much more complex job. Never heard from them again.
